Gilltown Mermus is a super, beautiful 7yr old mare by the famous stallion, Mermus R. Her sire has produced numerous top level horses at both 5* eventing and 1.50 level show jumping. Her Dam, Garthy Diamond Malt is by Chacoa, so this mare really is bred in the purple for jumping.

Perry has been an incredibly consistent horse on the British Show Jumping circuit for us and when she is on the lorry, we know we will be coming home with prize money and a rosette or two. She would be the dream addition to a yard of anyone who is wanting to be competitive week in, week out. She has been a serial winner at British Novice and Discovery level and is now happily out competing at Newcomers/1.10. She is already qualified for Discovery Second Rounds in 2025, jumping four out of four double clears and ready for someone to go and be competitive Winter, with just shy of £400 in winnings and 180 points on her CV to date.

She is snaffle mouthed in every phase and works beautifully on the flat. Perry hacks out alone and in company, travels solo or with others and is a general pleasure to have around. In addition to her extensive BS record, since we bought her as a four year old, she has cross country schooled, hunted, competed arena eventing, unaffiliated one day events and dressage.

Millie is a top-quality mare with serious potential for a competitive future. Purchased as a 4-year-old from Ireland, she has been carefully produced and is now confidently competing at 90cm eventing and 1m+ showjumping, with scope to progress much further.

Bold, brave, and intelligent to a fence, she’s unfazed by fillers, ditches, water, skinnies and more. She makes the time XC with ease and absolutely loves her job. In 2023, she competed at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show in the military jumping section, taking the busy atmosphere in her stride.

On the flat, Millie schools beautifully and is a quick, willing learner. She is currently working at Novice level with scores in the high 60s and has consistently scored over 70% at Prelim. With further development, she has the talent and trainability to reach Advanced Medium and beyond.

Millie is a joy to handle in every way. Sweet-natured, not at all mareish, and a pleasure to take out alone—she loads and travels perfectly, stands quietly in the trailer, and behaves impeccably in all settings. She doesn’t get hot-headed and is experienced at stay-away shows, clinics, fun rides, and competitions.

She hacks alone or in company, is very forward-going, great in traffic, and is never sick or sorry. No vices.

Owned since a 3yr old, Ollie has been slowly and correctly produced with longevity and future success in any chosen discipline in mind.

He has 3 fantastic paces, is uphill with natural self carriage and power. He has a very wiling and trainable attitude to his work. He’s competed lightly but very successfully BD at prelim level and qualified for the Winter Area Festival in just a few outings. He’s won 6/7 of his BD outings, always gaining great marks at 70%+ He’s progressed to Novice BD and is showing all the ability and potential for the higher levels in dressage.

Ollie loves to jump. He has been to training shows and jumped clear rounds at BS on a ticket. Happily competing at BN/90 and training at 1m currently. He is super athletic, very bold to a fence, yet very careful. Jumps anything and puts a big smile on your face. He hasn’t been over jumped but is showing great promise over a fence to be really competitive in the showjumping ring.

Given Ollie’s naturally athletic type he would make a fantastic event horse. He has jumped clear round a flagged BE course and jumps ditches, skinnies, corners, water, steps etc. He’s a very genuine, forward going horse who covers the ground easily and he really enjoys the XC. He would definitely be a very successful BE horse, he would easily go Novice/2* with scope for more with the correct training.

Ollie is a super softie, a real sweetheart and would be your best friend. He’s exceptionally well behaved both at home and out at competitions.
Great to hack and rock solid in traffic. Great to clip, load, travel etc.

He has three balanced and correct paces and has competed BD at prelim level with success including attending BD areas in the silver league. He has a super jump and is unfazed by fillers and solid fences. He is easy and forgiving to a fence.

Lovely to hack and has seen ditches, footbridges and happily canters out in front or behind with another horse. Starts and stops in a snaffle. Very good with traffic and lives on a farm so big machinery is the norm.

Great to shoe, load, travel, vet, clip and dentist. (And up to date with all vacs, back, teeth etc) Open to any vet! He is never sick or sorry!

Comes with all his belongings including his bates GP saddle, bridle, rugs etc. home very important for this lovely chap!
