Furst Promise is a 3 year old bay gelding.

He is expected to make 16.3/17 hh.

His sire is UK champion Hanoverian stallion Furst Summer. This stunning horse has passed on his fantastic temperament to Furst Promise, along with his super paces. His grand sire Furst Romancier needs no introduction.
The dam , Promise iii is by Carl Hester’s former GP ride Pro Set.

Furst Promise is a truly super boy. He has been in the same home since birth and has been used to, children, peacocks..aircraft, traffic. He spent his first two years living with a bombproof pony and this has passed on to him

He is good with the farrier and vet and loves being fussed over.

He has three powerful loose paces, with a quick hind leg and good reactions.

He has so much presence, and he has a laid back, want to work temperament.

He has been bred to have a leg at each corner, and to have a good amount of bone, also a wonderful head and neck.

He hasn t done any ridden work yet , but he wants to learn and could start some baby bits and bobs. He has had a girth and pad on and had absolutely no reaction.

He has super clean legs and has never seen a vet apart from vacs and gelding, but since he stated his vaccinations at the start of the year a very small Lump has come up on his face ( the size of a pencil end) Im 100% sure this is an immune reaction to the vacs and will go in time ,indeed it is getting smaller each day, but a vet will mention it. I have priced him to take this in to account.

Furst Promise is looking for a very special long term home, with someone who will love him as much as we do, and homes will be vetted.

Will be shared by two competent yet slightly rusty ladies who just want to have fun and feel safe.

He is type who will not back off cantering down to a big fence, he throughly enjoys the job! Yet, he gives his rider a very safe, honest feel whilst in the saddle.

Very easy horse to do in all respects, no hang ups, quirks or vices, he is very straightforward horse with a workman mentality, as well as being a very sweet, kind and loving horse to have around.

LANDPIKO - Piko is a wonderful big boned stamp of a horse who has jumped BS to Discovery and did BYEH as a 4yo. Produced by a professional event rider, 3 floaty paces and a can do attitude he would turn his hoof to any discipline.

XC schooled, dressaged and done fun/hunt rides, he jumps anything put in front of him, would make a fantastic hunter. Never silly or strong, goes in front or behind, laid back, loveable and easy to do in all ways. He is a real member of the family and a joy to have around.

Gorgeous chestnut all-rounder with a lovely temperament and a friendly personality.

This super horse has been with us for about 18months and taken part in all riding club activities and hunted, confidently jumping hedges and fences. In his previous home, he team chased and evented up to Novice level and represented Central England at the Tetrathlon Senior Regional Championships three years in a row. He also qualified for the PC Championships in Show Jumping, Eventing, and Tetrathlon at Intermediate level. He hunted with the Beaufort, Cotswold, and Heythrop, and was good with hounds and standing quietly at meets.

He’s a keen and bold jumper who’s straightforward to a fence or hedge. He does have a few gears, so he’s best suited to a confident rider who enjoys a fun, forward-going horse.

He’s easy to do at home—good to shoe, clip, catch, and box, and happy living in or out. Hacks alone or in company and is excellent in traffic and around farm machinery, sheep, chickens, etc.

This is a very sad sale due to A-level commitments leaving not enough time to enjoy this wonderful horse. He would be ideal for someone looking to have fun with a versatile, genuine horse who loves his job.
