Dougie has competed BSJ upto 1.10 and loves to jump. He also has all the ability to do a beautiful test training at novice but he has predominantly been a show jumper.

We have had him for 5 years and adore him but due to work commitments I’m being required to be away most weeks with work it’s unfair on him to be stuck when he loves working so much. So this is a very hard sale for us.

He is the most affectionate of boys and follows you round kissing and nuzzling you.. he is like a big Labrador. Loves to hack not fazed by heavy machinery but will spook at a random blue bucket so not a bombproof plod.

Takes his confidence from you. He is safe and sane but is not a novice ride as he needs a kind and firm/competent rider, especially when jumping. He is a very capable jumper and he really enjoys competing.

He is very affectionate and once you have developed a bond with him, there is not much he won’t do for you.

Thomas came to us at the end of February fresh off a hill where he was given the time to properly mature and grow.
