Very sad sale of a super 17.3 2015 bay mare by the fantastic Christian. This mare is an absolute gem who is capable of turning her hoof to anything.

Trained and competed up to elementary BD. Competed at numerous area festivals and regionals with some good placings.

Very genuine to a fence both SJ and XC, competed BS before we bought her but has only schooled/clinics and unaffiliated shows in our ownership.

Fantastic with hounds, stands politely at the meet. Happy with the field or nannying further back. Does gates, stands to be got on and off etc. Has also been used to trail lay.

Hacks alone and in company, solid in the heaviest traffic. Lives on a working farm so good with big machinery. Happy to bimble along on the buckle or to be ridden to a contact. I’ve had patchy 7 years and she really has been a teenage girls best friend. She’s taken me from never been eventing before to noviceand always looked after me. Patchy has on every Pony Club and Riding club team you could ever imagine, jumped up to 1.15 and novice xc although she has schooled over plenty intermediate lines. She is uncomplicated to ride, and helps you out at a fence whether it’s in the sj ring or out on the xc course. She rides like a mini horse but thinks like a pony, nippy and quick against the clock. She’s been to countless sj championships and big events.

She’s a beast out xc, only ever had one xc fault as the jockey was rusty at the first event out. Hunted all the big days out hunting new year day, Boxing Day etc jumps all the big hedges and keeps up with the master, then stands impeccably at the port stops. Her dressage is her weakest point but in all fairness I’m no dressage rider and didn’t have a lot of experience or time to fix it whilst doing GCSEs alevels etc. She has done some lovely work with other riders on the flat.

She’s not based by fillers and loves a big occasion, jumped indoors, outdoors, on grass, in the deepest mud she really just loves her job. Great to load, take away and stands and waits impeccably on a lorry or trailer for her turn. I also ride and lead all the young horses off her and she’s not fased. She’s got a lovely temperament lives in or out, easy to do in every way.

You can clip her and head, legs etc but is a little nervous and she does weave only if she’s the last one in or waiting a long time for dinner but if you tell her to stop she does.

Super sad sale of a beloved little horse but as the other horses are coming up id hate for her to go to the bottom of the pile. 5* home only

Belle is a 10yr old, 16.2h Irish sports horse, I’ve had her since she was 5 and we have learnt together to compete at discovery and new comers level.

She is good as gold under saddle and always try’s to please, however she is a forward ride and can be sharp and strong at times, especially at shows so she does need a confident and competent rider! Not a novice ride.

She can be a typical moody mare and does have her moments, therefore she would need an experienced, confident home ONLY.

She loves being outside, so would much prefer a home where she can be turned out as much as possible! As she can get stressy in her stable at times.
She is turned out 24/7 in summer and taken straight out the field to shows and turned straight back out when she’s back, this works for her and she is much more happier and nicer for being out!

She has been in very little to barely any work for the past couple years, just been mainly hacking, I would love to say I’m getting back into it but unfortunately my priorities are elsewhere.

She was professionally broken and then turned away.. has now been with me a couple of weeks for restarting.

She picked everything back up straight away and has been super safe with no issues at all. Very flashy paces- she has the real wow factor. on the flat, she's very soft in her mouth..responsive to your leg and voice and will work in a contact when asked.

Her paces are absolutely effortless. Walk, trot and cantering away very sweetly under saddle.

She feels incredibly balanced and floaty for her age. Definitely feels like riding a much older horse.
