Prestige is a prestigious UK based family-owned business set up in 1976 by Sheila and John Weston and run by their daughter, Helen Gallop and Granddaughters, Sara Gallop International Dressage Rider & Trainer and Rachel Gallop International Show Jumper and Trainer.

Prestige has extensive services on offer from development and schoolmaster lessons, Dressage, showjumping and schooling sessions. Prestige also runs many outdoor dressage, show jumping and eventers challenge events at their show centre.

Managed by Sara and Rachel Gallops dedicated team, we operate a dedicated yard to offer clients a premium livery experience when you have your own stable and turnout paddock. 

With 2 outdoor arenas available and 2 indoors that can be booked for lessons, whether you are dressage or jumping specific, there is always an arena available to you, with a BS course outside on a weekly basis and a full 20 x 60 dressage arena set up in preparation for fortnightly shows. As a livery, you are able to take advantage of these competition facilities, as well as having a show centre literally on your doorstep.

Vinnie was professionally broken in in Belgium before coming to the UK late last year where he has been slowly and correctly produced since. He has attended a handful of Training Shows and has just been Registered BS, jumping round British Novice and Discovery showing a great attitude along with scope to burn for the future.

He is ready for the 5y old classes this summer. He is a lovely forward thinking responsive ride without being sharp or silly in anyway at home or at a show. Combined with his ability over a fence he also has 3 straight uphill paces and would be a contender for pure Dressage.

The athletic Catoki-son Luigi d’Eclipse jumped his first 1.60m GP shows under Maikel van der Vleuten and is currently jumping at the highest level under Uma O’Neill (NZL).

Dam Daredevel d’Ici (Cordobes I x Nimmerdor) is a half-sister of the sBS, SWB, and AES-approved stallion Think Twice d’Ici (1.35m level). This line also includes Chaisan (1.60m Grand Prix) and Cesar Franck (1.50m level).

Introducing “ORAH” — a simply stunning 9-year-black warmblood mare, British bred by the renowned Vagabond De La Pomme. A real head-turner with an exceptional temperament, both in the stable and under saddle. Orah is as kind and genuine as she is talented, making her an absolute pleasure to have on the yard.

Originally evented by an amateur, it soon became clear her true calling was in the showjumping arena. Since arriving with us just 7 months ago, she’s gone from strength to strength and has exceeded every expectation.

Now confidently jumping 1.30m, she’s showing all the scope and class to be a future 1.40m horse. Most recently, she won the Blue Chip Championships 2025, featured in Horse & Hound (17/04/2025), leading the way in a huge field of over 90 competitors and holding her nerve as the first to go in the jump-off to win from the front.

She’s already secured qualification for the Regional Finals and HOYS qualifiers this year. Orah is beautifully balanced, goes in a natural rhythm, and is straightforward both on the flat and over fences. She’s also happy to hack alone or in company, and is good to clip, shoe, load, and travel. No vices or quirks.

Orah would be a fantastic addition to a professional yard’s string, or equally suit a competent amateur or ambitious junior. Horses of this calibre are rare to find. We would love for her to stay in production with us and would welcome an owner to keep her on at our yard — she really is very special.

We are thrilled to announce that Julian Mincher Equestrian now has its very own premises on the London/Essex border. We have recently settled into our new home at Aldborough Hall Equestrian and are excited about the future.

Since moving in, we’ve carried out extensive renovations, including transforming the indoor arena, which now boasts a state-of-the-art Andrews Bowen jumping surface.

This is truly a magical place, located just 12 miles from Trafalgar Square with excellent access to motorways and transport networks. The Central and Elizabeth Underground lines are just a mile from our yard, with Fairlop station being the nearest. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk directly across Fairlop Waters to reach us.

Set within over 50 acres of stunning parkland, Aldborough Hall Equestrian is a charming retreat. The stables are arranged in a traditional courtyard surrounding a tranquil garden. Our indoor arena measures an impressive 60 x 25 metres, while the outdoor arena, set to undergo refurbishments in spring 2025, is a generous 100 x 60 metres. The grounds also feature a variety of permanent cross-country fences, adding to the diverse training opportunities available.

One of the highlights of Aldborough Hall is the exceptional hacking. A private track leads directly from the yard onto Fairlop Waters, where you’ll find an all-weather track that extends for miles in a circular route, ideal for year-round use. Additionally, there are grass canter tracks throughout the park, providing variety for schooling and a welcome change from arena work—all without the worry of encountering traffic.

We feel incredibly fortunate to call Aldborough Hall Equestrian our home and are delighted to share this wonderful place with our clients and horses.
