Meet the stunning ‘Ruby’! A beautiful 16.2hh, 15yo Irish mare. She has no lumps nor bumps, bumps , or vices
Ruby is super kind in and out of the stable. She’s very easy to do everything with. Great to catch, easy to box, clip, and shoe. Up to date with dentist , farrier, worming, jabs , and back.
She’s easy to load and travels well. She’s easy to mix with other horses and not at all marish in the stable. She’s a real delight to own and have on the yard
Ruby is a lovely mare to ride on the flat. Works on the bridle and had three smart and balanced paces. She is always snaffle mouthed and has successfully competed in dressage and showing at riding club level for years
Ruby is so talented when it comes to jumping! This is something she loves. She’s had too many unaffiliated wins to count , up to 1m in the ring and 1m20 at home. She will jump anything and is so careful. Again, always in a snaffle and knows her job. Shes very rideable and will help you out if you get it wrong. She is unphased by fillers etc and remains a sane mare in the ring
Ruby LOVES fun and beach rides!! She’s been to many over the years. She will jump anything you ask and loves getting her toes in the sea! She is not hot or silly in company and will give you some lovely days out this summer!
Cross country is another favourite of hers, she’s a real powerhouse! She’s been to many unaffiliated events and hires.
Hacking is another favourite on her CV. Shes happy to go alone or in company, is not silly and will always look after her rider. At the moment we are using her to give the green horses a lead out. She is excellent in all types of traffic and good in open spaces
Ruby has been in the same home the last 8 years. She has belonged to someone very local to me who attends the same riding club so I have known of the mare for years. This sale was extremely sad and only due to her old owner now starting a family of her own. She was heartbroken she couldn’t keep her and would love to stay in touch. She did absolutely everything with her over the years and has countless pictures and videos to share. Ruby also bred her the most stunning foal in 2022 which she still has now.
Ruby isn’t for a novice just as she would be too forward and keen but she’s by no means sharp or difficult. She loves her work and just wants to be enjoyed
