Joker has had a successful Showjumping’s career up to 125m jumping national 5 and 6 year old classes gaining all his discovery newcomers and fox dc has trained round 1.50 m at home but unfortunately lacks confidence in himself in the ring so due to that I can’t stand behind selling him as a showjumper so with that in mind he has now turned his hoof to doing some dressage training.

He has been training in an international dressage arena and not phased by the change of scenery. He showed beautiful flashy uphill paces and showing a very trainable attitude to the change of discipline! Definitely an exciting dressage prospect!

I bought Alfie from Ireland unbacked as a 4 yr old. He has been slowly produced due to his size and is low milage.

Alfie has done lots of riding club training sessions and several RC events, he has won and been placed across disciplines including at RC qualifiers and qualified for RC champs and was placed on a double clear at a Cotswold Cup qualifier in May 26 in only his 2nd ever ODE.

At home Alfie has been jumping up to 1m and he has been schooled across country at 90cm, jumping ditches, water, steps etc and has never once stopped at a fence. Dory - Exceptional 16.2 6yo mare by Ibolensky - Cornet Obolensky , out of a Numero Uno mother who has produced 6 international horses, with 4 of those successfully competing at 1.45m-1.60m level!

Her mother is also a FULL sister to the exceptional 1.60m stallion 'Unaniem' and has a further 4 siblings competing at 1.55m level.

This outstanding mare is a wonderful, top quality, established young horse. A traditional big classical mare with super expressive paces. Having had the very best start in life her schooling is exceptional, she rides quietly in a soft round shape in all gaits working smoothly both on and off the bridle whilst in a snaffle.

Dressage Highlights: Recently, April has helped her rider learn the ropes up to PSG level in pure dressage. She placed 3rd at the Medium Area Festival, consistently scoring in the high 68%s. She has also competed in a couple of PSGs and will happily guide another rider to this level. In the boards, she is incredibly light on her feet for a bigger horse. She is currently ridden by a small adult but has the frame to easily carry a taller rider. She is fully established in all lateral work, and her tempi changes are continually improving.

Jumping & Eventing History: In the past, April evented successfully up to 4* level. While she is no longer suited for top-level eventing, she would be fantastic for someone looking to compete at the lower levels and have some fun. She is naturally careful and sharp over show jumps.

Sambourne Cronus 16.1, 7yr old palomino gelding by Dunhill Desert Storm ex TB mare.

Gobi has been brought on to event over the last 12 months by a sympathetic teenager who is now going to university, hence the sale of this much loved horse. He has been working well across all three disciplines, winning the Fernie Pony Club Novice and Intermediate Winter dressage leagues. Charlie has been a permanent fixture with me for the past 2.5 years and has given me an abundance of fun and some fantastic days on the hunting field.

He is a lovely big, soppy, golden retriever type on the ground and is completely uncomplicated to do. He’s the sort you could leave the field gate open for and he’d simply take himself back to his stable!

Charlie has predominantly been a hunter, he has taken me across the biggest of country, always getting me to the other side and, most importantly, home safely. We regularly box up on our own and travel to hunt with various different packs.

He stands beautifully at the meet, is excellent with hounds. Goes a good gallop but level headed enough to switch off and stand end of buckle if required too. He can occasionally throw in a cheeky, harmless fly buck when first setting off into canter, nothing nasty whatsoever, simply excitement. Once he’s underway and has had a good run, he is perfect. I’m a very mediocre rider that wouldn’t be the bravest at times but I manage him just fine.

He is bold and brave to a hedge, yet careful enough to measure a gate. Very cool to Xc school, I think he could make a seriously fun team chaser or eventer for someone willing to polish up his flatwork and showjumping.

Charlie enjoys his flatwork and is lovely and light in the hand. He is green when it comes to showjumping, simply because it isn’t something I do myself and therefore we haven’t particularly worked on. My groom adores him and jumps him at home to keep the cobwebs off, and she has also taken him to a handful of shows, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He hacks alone or in company and is great in traffic, although he might need pat on bin day!

Charlie is a big, bold, brave and incredibly fun horse who could go on to do a variety of jobs. As mentioned above he would be an awesome prospect for someone wanting to event or team chase, or equally a fantastic hunter for someone looking for a horse to get out and enjoy this season.

He has had most of the summer off, as hunters do, and is not yet hunting fit, which is reflected in his sensible price.

He has done plenty of arena hires, xc schooling, hacking and has hunted, he was hot and strong to hunt so he is certainly not for sale as a hunter, however he’s only been out a few times to busy full on type meets so if someone wanted to put the work in and do plenty of hound exercise and cubbing he may take to it in time.

He is currently in full work, schooling regularly and enjoys hacking, including roads, open spaces and faster work, isn’t fussed by traffic.

He is a sensitive horse who can lack confidence when unsure, so requires a calm, capable and experienced rider who understands this type of horse. He is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider.

For complete transparency: Winston has some swelling to one hock and a lump on his fetlock, both resulting from a single field injury sustained as a youngster. He was never and has never been lame as a result even when in full training. He does also have a very small / flat sarcoid which is not anywhere interfering. Orange Sollenburg (Sully) is a gorgeous 16.2hh chestnut gelding looking for his new rider to enjoy him.

He’s 7 years old but very much an old head on young shoulders being very genuine when competing and always wanting to jump and look for the flags.

He’s always easy to ride for his dressage tests and never gets hot and silly in the boards. He doesn’t need loads of warm up either and the judges always like him as he moves well and is correct but is powerful so occasionally still loses his balance at his young age.

Show jumping he is really careful and goes off any stride, and jumps equally as well on grass as he does in an arena.

Cross country he’s such a dude ! He has a great way of going with such a lovely neutral head carriage. He gallops extremely well and stays in a lovely rhythm. He’s easy to adjust and is so straight to all ditches/skinnies/combinations.

Good to shoe, travel and clip.

Would suit a competitive amateur to gain experience at novice and work up the levels or equally he has plenty of talent to continue up the grades easily with a professional.

He’s such a lovely horse to have in the yard and it’s a really sad sale so home is a priority!
