• 16.3hh | 8yo | Roan Gelding

A seriously genuine, kind and competitive horse who would make an exceptional amateur’s partner.

Vinnie is a very special horse and a type that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Standing at approximately 16.3hh, this handsome 8-year-old roan gelding is a lovely old-fashioned stamp — a good sort with a leg in each corner, plenty of bone and substance, and the sort of honest, straightforward attitude that makes him a pleasure to own and ride.

His roan coat changes colour with the seasons, making him rather unique, but it is his temperament and attitude that really make him stand out.

COMPETITION RECORD

Vinnie is currently Grade C, with £1,292 BS winnings and 778 points, and is soon to be Grade B.

He is currently winning at 1.20m level and will shortly step up to 1.30m.

His recent form speaks for itself:

13 starts - 5 wins - 3 second places

He is therefore not only genuine and easy, but also extremely competitive and consistent in the ring.

Vinnie is a horse who wants to do his job and tries hard for his rider. He is established and experienced enough to give his rider confidence, whilst still having plenty of scope and potential to progress.

IDEAL AMATEUR HORSE

This is where Vinnie really stands out.

He is kind, uncomplicated and incredibly genuine, and is the sort of horse that makes you look forward to getting on and going to a show.

He is ridden in a snaffle bridle at all times and is a yard favourite. In fact, when it comes to hacking, Vinnie is everyone’s first choice.

He is easy to take out, sensible and enjoyable, making him a lovely horse for someone wanting a competitive showjumper without giving up the pleasure of having a horse they can simply enjoy every day.

He would be particularly suited to an amateur wanting to progress through the grades, but equally has the ability and record to be competitive with a professional rider.

VERSATILE & TALENTED

Vinnie has also been cross-country schooling, where he proved bold, willing and straightforward, thoroughly enjoying himself.

He has lovely flatwork with established flying changes, and with his attitude and ability he could also make an exciting eventing prospect for someone looking to branch out into another discipline.

PEDIGREE

Vinnie is very well bred, being by the highly regarded Caretino Glory, out of a Calvaro Z mare.

His pedigree is littered with 1.60m performance horses, giving him the breeding to match his own ability and competition record.

THE IMPORTANT BIT…

Horses like Vinnie are becoming increasingly hard to find.

He is genuine, kind, uncomplicated, competitive and consistent, with the ability to progress further whilst remaining a horse that you can enjoy and have confidence in.

This is a very genuine sale of a much-loved horse and partner, and we are looking for a long-term, knowledgeable and loving home where he will be appreciated as much as he is here.

Excellent facilities, including a large indoor arena, at Julian Mincher Equestrian on the London/Essex border, making him very conveniently located and easy to try.

ELITE INTERNATIONAL PROSPECT

LINWHITE

Outstanding Grade B Mare - 10 Years - 16.2h - Proven 1.40m - Exceptional International Bloodlines

Opportunities to purchase mares of this calibre, pedigree, and quality are becoming increasingly rare.

Linwhite “Lilly” is an elegant, athletic and exceptionally well-bred 10-year-old Grade B mare with all the scope, rideability and carefulness required to progress into ranking classes and continue a successful career at international level.

Her pedigree speaks for itself. Lilly is by the outstanding Emir R, one of the most influential sires in modern showjumping. With more than 160 offspring competing internationally, including over 110 successfully performing between 1.30m and 1.55m, Emir R continues to produce horses with the talent, athleticism and mentality required for top sport.

Her dam is by the legendary Mylord Carthago, the Olympic and Grand Prix superstar whose offspring have become some of the most sought-after horses on the international circuit. This combination of proven performance bloodlines makes Lilly an exciting proposition not only as a competition horse but also as a valuable future broodmare.

Lilly is now confidently established at 1.40m level and is only a short step away from competing in FEI ranking classes. She combines an abundance of natural scope with exceptional technique, carefulness and an outstanding attitude to her work. She is straightforward to ride, genuine in every respect and possesses the consistency that professionals look for.

Despite being 10 years old, Lilly remains remarkably low mileage. She has never been over-produced or over-jumped, having been carefully and sympathetically produced throughout her career by a lightweight lady rider whose work commitments limited her competition schedule. More recently, her owner has become pregnant, making this an extremely genuine and very reluctant sale of a much-loved horse.

Lilly has already qualified for the British Showjumping National Championships in both the 1.30m and 1.40m Championships and has comfortably achieved the required double clears, underlining both her consistency and competitive ability.

She is equally impressive whether jumping indoors or outdoors, performing confidently on both grass and all-weather surfaces, making her an ideal candidate for both national and international competition.

Horses with Lilly’s combination of breeding, ability, careful production and untapped potential are increasingly difficult to find. She is ready to walk into a professional yard and continue progressing immediately, whether for a rider aiming for international sport, a dealer looking for a quality horse to campaign, or someone seeking a future championship horse.

A genuine international-quality mare offered only because of a change in her owner’s circumstances.

- Proven at 1.40m with scope for more.

- Exceptional international pedigree.

- Low mileage and carefully produced.

- Ready to compete immediately.

- Suitable for professional, ambitious amateur or international rider.

- Open to any veterinary inspection.

Excellent trial facilities are available just outside London, including a large indoor arena and first-class surfaces.

Serious enquiries only.

• Elegant and expressive naturally balanced paces
• Hacks well alone and in company
• Easy to do and a lovely character

A very charming young horse who oozes quality and has a tonne of potential for the future.

Bumble is by Greenlanes Jester (Negro x Florencio I) a dressage stallion known for producing quality, movement and rideability, with Castello III on the dam’s side bringing proven jumping blood and plenty of natural athleticism. It is a lovely combination that gives Bumble the potential to excel in either discipline and/or eventinig.

He is currently being promoted more towards dressage, this is solely due to the home he has been in. Bumble was broken and ridden away lightly last year before being given time to grow and mature. He is now back in full work and showing real genuine promise.

He has a fantastic attitude towards everything asked of him. He is the type of horse who genuinely tries to answer the question, wants to please and thoroughly enjoys his work. He has three fabulous, expressive paces and is working nicely in an outline, becoming stronger and more established with every session. He will soon be ready to start his career.

Bumble has also done plenty of pole work and a handful of jumping sessions. He is understandably still green in this area, but takes the same willing attitude from his flatwork into his jumping. He is brave, genuine and always tries, showing plenty of natural ability for somebody wishing to produce him as an all-round competition horse.

He has been to a handful of arena hires, and has also done a couple of dressage clinics. Travels well on his own and has been a very easy horse to deal with.

He hacks alone and in company and has been sensible in open spaces. As a young horse, there will naturally still be things he has not encountered, but he is not the type to spook at nothing or become hot and silly. He has been good with the small amount of farm traffic he has seen.

Good to shoe, catch, load etc and has a truly wonderful character, a really lovely horse to have around.

Bumble would be a very exciting prospect for somebody wanting a quality young horse to continue producing. Whether his future lies between the white boards, over fences or as a smart dual-purpose competition horse, he has the breeding, movement and attitude to make a very special horse in the right hands.

Tack negotiable.

Florence is an extremely well-bred mare by Sligo Candy Boy out of a mare by Cruising. With these names in her pedigree, she certainly has breeding worth shouting about — and with her lovely paces, scope and willing attitude, there is plenty to like about the mare herself too!

Produced steadily with her future in mind, Florence has been given time to develop without being rushed. She has all the right ingredients to make a fabulous quality all-rounder or event horse. Straightforward and forward-thinking, she enjoys her work and has so much to offer someone who wants to continue her education.

On the flat, Florence paints a very lovely picture. She works in a beautiful outline with three uphill, naturally balanced paces and plenty of presence. She has the makings of a very smart dressage test and is certainly the sort to catch the judge’s eye. If you enjoy your flatwork, there is plenty here to get excited about.

Her jumping has been brought on with the same patient approach. She is now confidently jumping courses of 80/90cm, showing scope to progress and a brave attitude towards fillers. She has also done a small amount of cross-country, giving her a foundation to build on. There is more experience to gain, but we think she could make a very smart eventing prospect.

Florence is fantastic to hack, both alone and in company. She is good in open spaces and has taken the small amount of village and farm traffic she has seen in her stride. A lovely mare to head out and enjoy, whether you have company or fancy a bit of peace and quiet!

On the ground, she is just as easy to like. Good to catch, load, shoe and clip, she has a wonderful nature and is straightforward to deal with. She is the sort who quietly works her way into everyone’s affections and quickly becomes a yard favourite — there may be a little competition over who gets to ride this one!

Florence has been in the same home since she was a foal, so this is a very sad sale for a genuine reason. A much-loved mare with a lovely foundation, plenty of talent and an exciting future ahead of her.

For sale on behalf of the owner, good home a must!

A seriously attractive Irish Sport Horse with three elevated paces, a big scopey jump and the sweetest “okay, I’ll give it a go” attitude.

Nash is by Kings Cornet, a son of the legendary Cornet Obolensky, and out of a traditional Irish Sport Horse mare by Nash Me. His breeding brings together modern jumping quality with the blood and versatility traditionally associated with the Irish Sport Horse—and he certainly looks the part!

On the flat, Nash has three fabulous, elevated paces and works in a naturally uphill frame. He is beginning to work correctly in an outline and shows all the ingredients to excel in the dressage arena. He recently attended a training show here at Prelim level, winning with a very respectable 69%. He takes the most beautiful picture and is absolutely the one all your friends will say “wow” about!

Nash also has a lovely, big, scopey jump. He is comfortably jumping courses of 90cm and makes a really good shape over a fence. He is genuine and forgiving, happily helping his rider out if they arrive on a missed stride, and always looks to get himself to the other side. With further education and experience, there is plenty more to come from him—he has the ability to make a lovely grassroots event horse, showjumper or smart competition all-rounder.

He hacks alone and in company, has seen farm traffic and is sensible in open spaces. He has also popped a couple of small ditches and logs while out hacking, approaching everything with his usual willing attitude.

Nash is good to shoe, load, catch and travel.

He does have an old injury to his hindquarters, caused by a kick from another horse. There is no scar but has some muscle atrophy. This does not affect his way of going.

Nash is a really lovely person who has taken a little time to learn to trust new people. Now that we are beginning to see his true character, he makes us smile every day. There is nothing malicious about him; he simply wants someone patient and kind who will continue to build his confidence. His general outlook on life is very much, “Okay, I’ll give it a go,” and he really does try to answer every question asked of him.

He is priced with finding the perfect home firmly in mind—a home that will continue his education, increase his exposure and give him all the time, patience and TLC he so clearly wants.

A beautiful, talented horse with a gentle soul and so much still to give.

Really sweet mare Luna is incredibly kind and straightforward and looking for her forever home where she will be enjoyed! Fun forward going ride, never strong and always go in a snaffle bridle we’ve taken her to BS shows where she jumped straight round without a blink at any fillers, zero spooking and managed a double clear with ease so will make someone a fan competitive little winner! Forgiving if the stride isn’t quite right and tries her best to please.

Super brave cross country she’s seen some very decent sized fences and again gave 100% so would make a good little event type or even hunt well this season, rides correctly with nice flying changes and works in a smart outline however she does much rather jump!

Her temperament is one of her greatest assets. She is exceptionally mannerly, straightforward and a pleasure to have around the yard. She is lovely to do anything with and has a kind, genuine attitude to her work. A horse that is very easy to fall in love with.

Alan is a well put together and handsome ISH 4yo gelding by Rockrimmon Robusticus, who been produced and had a basic rounded education and is now ready to find his home to continue his career in any discipline.

Broken in and lightly professionally produced in Ireland by a lovely producer and came over in England in June. We have continued his education, taken him to some UA competitions, training shows, lots of hacking and fun. He regularly ridden here by a competent novice and a 13yo girl as well as us.

We think that Alan would be perfect for so many different homes due to his lovely attitude to life and very trainable and chilled head. He’s definitely a horse that’s head is way beyond his years and a very laid back type. He would stand out in the hunting field, would make a lovely allrounder/RC type, and the best pet best friend anyone would want.

At home Alan is a pleasure to have around, has no vices, hacks alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed, doesn’t need riding every day, loads and travels well on any form of transport and is generally very easy to do and be around.

Although she never raced, she was in race training, making her eligible for RoR (Retraining of Racehorses).

Diamond is a lovely, kind mare with a sweet temperament, good conformation, and no vices. She is an easy horse to have around and has the attitude to suit a wide variety of homes.

Last year, she unfortunately went through barbed wire, leaving some cosmetic scarring on her front legs. Her legs were fully scanned by the vet, with all results coming back clear, and she was given the all-clear to return to racing. The scars are purely cosmetic and do not affect her soundness.

She hasn’t been in work since November, but she is now coming back into work ready for rehoming.

Diamond has the potential to excel as an eventer, but she would be just as happy as a reliable hack or much-loved family horse. With her fantastic pedigree, she could also be an excellent candidate for a breeding home.

A genuinely lovely mare with plenty to offer, ready for her next chapter.
