Ashley (Ash) is an absolutely gorgeous 15.1h dapple grey 5 year old Connemara x warmblood mare. For sale on behalf of her owner.

Ash is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. She is a very striking dapple grey and catches the eye where ever she goes. She is an ideal size for teens coming off ponies as well as smaller adults so would make a brilliant mother/ daughter share too. She is a very desirable type that will do lots of jobs. She has excellent conformation, is blemish free and has good feet (Nn for hoof wall). She flew through a 5 stage vetting in July which can come with her and she is open to another if wanted. She is the perfect alrounder who excels across all disciplines with a real “can do” attitude, she is lovely now but has so much more to come with a very exciting future ahead of her.

Ash works really nicely on the flat and has 3 super paces. She moves really nicely, flicks her toe and has a lot of scope to her paces. She works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. She is snaffle mouthed for everything. She is a good medium speed who is nicely forward going with good transitions but not sharp at all. She is a lovely straight forward ride who gives her rider a great feel. She is schooling lovely now but still has more to come as she strengthens up and matures. She has such a lovely attitude to her work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on her face and wants to please. She has so much potential to excel in dressage, she has been out to arena hires and clinics and is now ready to go to a competition and work her way through the levels.

Ash loves her jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. She nicely takes you into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. She doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. She is very bold and jumps all fillers first attempt confidently. She has been to several jumping arena hires and training clear rounds where she has shown lots of potential for all riding club competitions ect. She has been jumping around 80cm courses currently with potential to jump higher, but again hasn’t been rushed. She has also been attending pole work clinics which she loves. She is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to her jumping. She has done a few small jumping competitions in Ireland with her previous owner and is now ready to crack on and go competing over here. She is equally as bold over xc jumps. She was very ridable and jumped everything asked of her in a sensible manner. She has done some areana eventing clear rounds where she was great fun. Cindy is a 5yo Connie x TB mare by Maam Hero standing at approx. 15.1h. She was broken last December and has been slowly brought on to make sure she understands everything correctly has had time to mature.

Although she doesn’t need riding daily, Cindy does enjoy her work. On the flat she’s responsive to the aids and has a lovely soft mouth. She bends correctly, works in a contact and has a naturally balanced canter.

Cindy loves her jumping! She’s not once stopped or looked at a filler. She isn’t at all strong but takes you politely into a fence, giving her rider confidence. Cindy is proving to be super careful with her showjumping and hasn’t taken offence to my bad strides! We’ve had a go at show jumping, arena eventing, group lessons and she’s always just as well behaved away as she is at home. She would be ideal for someone looking for an easy quiet horse to take to camps and clinics as she’s not phased by other horses coming and going.

Cindy is equally as easy to jump cross country. Her first time seeing ditches, steps and water she didn’t even bat an eyelid, just stepped over like she’d done it all before!

Happy to hack out alone and in company, not bothered at all about being in front/behind/side by side. Absolutely not nappy or backward. Doesn’t get silly walking or cantering through open spaces.

Cindy is a really quiet girl to have around on the yard, she has excellent manners. She’s like a dog on a lead to turn out/bring in. Good to catch, clip, for the farrier, to load and travel. She’s just a real level-headed Connie who is happy to go with the flow and wants to be everyone’s friend.

‘Joey’ otherwise known as ‘Mr Snow way’ is a super smart, eye catching project.

Joey is an exceptionally careful horse with a very nice jumping technique!

However, he is looking for a capable rider. He’s hasn’t got a nasty bone in him, just fundamentally underexposed and lacking in confidence due to lack of time to put the work in which he deserves!

I’ve have known him for many years, having ridden him at a race yard since a youngster. He’s a sensitive boy but so willing and loves having a job to do!
