16hh black KWPN gelding 6yrs

Potential eventer, American hunter.  

Arthur has competed BD age classes with good results, however his owner feels his heart isn’t in the pure dressage job and so therefore is looking for a different life for him. Since being with us Arthur has been introduced to jumping, both over coloured fences and XC. He’s brave, clever and forward thinking. He has jumped at 80 cm training shows SJ with us and although green as grass, jumped straight round throwing some nice shapes. He has been XC schooling and again proved brave, jumped baby ditches, went through water and showed a good attitude going off on his own. He has loads of potential to be a seriously competitive little event horse as the flat is already good and he’s very flashy.  

Arthur loves his hacking both alone and in company, he’s excellent in fairly heavy traffic and not spooky or silly.  

To ride on the flat he has been professionally produced and is therefore all there ready to go once his jumping is up to speed. Schooling round 90-1m with us and nearly ready to jump a BS British Novice. It won’t take long for him to be a strong grass roots contender.

We haven’t really got to the bottom of him yet as have just been keeping everything easy and fun and giving good foundations, who knows how much scope and heart he has! He seriously moves and therefore is looking for a competitive rider who is used to a horse with a lot of power, he won’t suit a novice! Saying that he isn’t tricky and is a kind hearted chap who wants to please.  

Arthur is a very easy boy to have on the yard, mannerly in and out the stable, good to box, catch, shoe, clip and loves fuss.  

Hacks out brilliantly alone and in company, very good in traffic. Snaffle mouthed for everything.

CHICO  

15.1hh bay Irish gelding 14 yrs

Fun little horse who has been and done a bit of everything, unaff SJ, ODE, hunted etc.  

Chico is a super chap who enjoys his work and is looking for a rider who wants to go straight out and do a bit of everything. 

He is nicely schooled on the flat and does a nice dressage test, with three active paces. He views his flatwork however as a means to an end and would rather be jumping which he absolutely loves! Chico has lots of experience jumping unaffiliated round SJ and ODE ( Cotswold cup) to 90 cm. He was purchased by current owners for slightly nervous 12 yr old child and he has proved to be a bit too much of a step up from a 14hh cob so looking for a slightly older and slightly braver rider. He is great fun both SJ and XC and loves the job. He is brave and bold and forward thinking but not sharp, just occasionally a bit speedy but not in a nasty way, just keen! Very brave XC, gives a good lead. Would love to continue doing ODEs, SJ and maybe a bit of hunting.  

Chico loves going hacking both alone and in company. He’s great in open spaces and happy to go for a gallop but pulls up easily. He’s been good in all traffic met to date. He’s easy to do, box, shoe, catch, clip, he will come in for the night but appreciates his turnout and has been living out with us. Easy going and happy to make friends. He occasionally needs reminding of his manners and as such would need a horse savvy home, not a novice family. With the right person he has loads to offer and will give serious fun.

The wonderful AJ is sadly looking for a new home

Aj has competed to newcomers BS with numerous clears and scope for plenty more, skipping over the top of the wings at home. He’s incredibly careful with a lovely technique and gives a great feel over a fence. He’s snaffle mouthed and a real gentleman to a fence. He is very well bred being directly by the infamous Quidam De Revel and very much bred for the jumping job! Kampala is BS name. Was professionally produced so is well schooled and knows his job through and through.

More recently AJ has also taken part in more all rounder activities, pony club activities, dressage & eventing!

Aj is however a competition horse, and proven to be a bit much horse for his current jockey, he is never nasty, never has any malice to him and is a lovely character both ridden and on the ground. But equally he has a big jump and likes to be busy and have a job, and is not for a novice and requires a confident experienced jockey to get the most out of him, with the right rider he will jump 1.30s.

Aj is very easy to do in all ways, loading, hacking, clipping, shoeing etc. will live in or out and friendly with other horses. A real sweetheart on the yard!

Super horse that is naturally well balanced, has lovely level paces, she has been nicely ridden on the flat and has very good soft gentle transitions.

Scopey, brave, careful jump and is bold with all the coloured fences in the arena. Sandy has competed successfully in training shows in Ireland around 90cm and 1m tracks.

This mare is a super Hunter and she will go first or last without pulling or getting strong. She has been XC schooling with us proving to be perfect with rails, hedges, going on and off the banks and was happy to jump both in and out of water. Sandy has a confident and easy attitude to her work and rides politely in a snaffle bridle at all times.

Sandy is a lovely horse to hack out and will happily go alone or in company and is extremely good in traffic - she will happily ride past lorries , bikes, tractors etc without turning a hair.

Kindest of horses to handle and is easy to catch, tie up, groom, bath, load etc and is good to both clip and shoe.

A lovely horse that is charming to have around and is easy to ride and is extremely reliable and gentle. A 5* home is looked for this lovely mare!

Lovely big moving mare that I’m sure will flourish in dressage and eventing

I loosed jumped her once and she proved to be willing and careful.

I originally bought Tonks from her breeder as a 3yr old to back and sell on, but due to unexpectedly retiring my broodmare from breeding I was left with a stud fee to use up.. so Tonks was used as a replacement

Whilst infoal we had her long lining and sat on the lunge and and was no bother at all. Since her beautifully colt foal has been weaned We have recently sat back on and riding lightly away with no issues at all... she is sensible and trainable.

The future gravitas foal is now weaned and also available for sale.

Completly overstocked so she is advertised now at a realistic price until we are riding her away more and the price will then increase.

Belle. A talented, polite, unmareish mare. As a horse I can’t fault Belle. She is a pleasure on the ground, will stand all day to be fussed, groomed and loved. Her ability to learn is incredible. She picks up things strait away. And you NEVER have to tell her something twice.

Belle hacks alone and in company, happily walks/trots/canters out happily and isn't silly in open spaces.

To jump, Belle jumps all fillers, never says no, jumps of any stride and is so much fun currently competing around 90cm but plenty of scope to go further!

Recently came 3rd at Isleham PC hunter trial in a class of 60+ Loves her job and is so much fun to compete

Flatwork is not Belles favourite activity so this is where she needs the most work.

We are all very fond of Belle and she will only go to the very best of homes.
