Very honest advert 15.3 9 yr old mare ID x Cob - She is a bit quirky however in the right hands she will be fab.
She does not particularly like schools as she was in a riding school and got bored. However once she knows your in charge she will school beautifully. All she does is stand there and doesn't listen.
Jumping she's ace, enjoys her work.
Hacking, she was fine however I have not got the confidence anymore solo so I cannot give a full opinion on that as I have no one to hack out with.
However hacked out with company at the weekend, really takes her confidence from the rider. Main roads she was a bit nervy on but did not actually do anything other than be tense. Country roads she was so chill! Main road on the way back she was much more relaxed as was the rider.
Basically she is a typical mare, acts like a mare (but definitely not a killer) but if you are in charge she will make someone a really good horse.
She is definitely the kind of horse where kindness is paid off. You are sturn but gentle, she will try her best for you.
Will happily gallop her across an open field. Does not get silly.
Will only be sold to the most suitable home!
Up to date with farrier, wormer, teeth, back checks and vaccinations.
Shod front only but will need back shoes if on the roads or stones more as she does have sensitive, shallow hooves.
Good to load and travel.
Good to clip body, needs mild sedation for legs and head.
Good for farrier and worming.
Needs to gain trust before letting you fuss her head.
NOT SUITABLE FOR NOVICES!
Will happily be open about this mare as I want the best for her with the right person.
Will continue to do more with her and get her out and about, price will increase as she does more.
*has small melanoma under her tail. Never caused an issue or grown in size*
Would really suit a hunting or cross country home where she has a fun job to do!
Open to sensible offers.
