Dotty (Dothan Natasha) is a beautiful shire mare who has a gorgeous personality to match! Loves people and attention and enjoys a good groom!

We’ve allowed her to mature slowly and has had lots of groundwork and desensitisation in readiness for the big world. She’s had a bridle and saddle on and has been walked out on roads - nothing has phased her at all! She followed and lead with no issues. She has been sat on and walked around so she’s ready to step it up now!

She’s only for sale as she’s just not getting enough attention as one of four horses. She’d love to have her person to dote on her every wish. She is very gentle and keen to please.

She currently lives out and comes in daily for a feed, fuss and a bit of work. She comes to call and brings herself in. She’s currently barefoot with good feet. Up to date with farrier, dentist and physio.

Ryder is a 6-year-old Clydesdale cross gelding with a heart as big as his personality. Currently standing between 15.3hh and 16hh (to be confirmed), he is an eye-catching, solid stamp of a horse who turns heads wherever he goes.
Originally bought for a client, sadly due to unexpected health issues (a third hip operation), she will no longer be able to ride — which is a real shame, as Ryder would have been ideal. Since then, I've continued his education and the more I do with him, the more I believe he’s capable of turning his hoof to anything — he’d even look a picture in the show ring.

Training & Temperament

Ryder was backed at 4 years old but then turned away for 18 months. I’ve given him a full restart and he’s now 12 weeks back under saddle, taking everything in his stride.
Hacking alone or in company — happy in front or behind
Has been ridden and led from
Sensible, curious and forward-thinking
Will occasionally look at things, but nothing spooky — a little encouragement and he cracks on
Beginning his schooling journey now, and showing promise
He’s a genuine people-pleaser — first to the gate, trots over to say hello, and follows you around the field like a dog. He loves attention, cuddles, scratches and, of course, treats.

 On the Ground

Excellent for the farrier — recently had his first set of shoes
Vaccinations and teeth now fully up to date
Clipped for the first time here — behaved like a seasoned pro
Generally polite, though he can be pushy around food (easily managed — a quick finger click and he steps back like a gent)

Home Requirements

Ryder is looking for a knowledgeable, loving home where he’ll continue to be slowly and sympathetically produced. He’s a big softie who thrives on human interaction and would suit someone wanting a quality allrounder with a solid foundation to build upon.
He’s great around dogs, cats, and children — has even had kids sit on him bareback with no issues. Could easily see him being someone’s best mate, family horse, or future show partner.
Homes will be vetted — finding the right match is my top priority, and I don’t want him being passed from pillar to post.

BOBBY

Easy, fun and cool 2020 cob cross bay gelding standing at 15.2hh. Bobby is very much an old head on young shoulders.

He has been beautifully started with so much ground work (same owner since 3YO) meaning he’s not been rushed and has had plenty of consistency with his training. He isn’t remotely sensitive or sharp and he’s very much a happy chap.

Bobby is snaffle mouthed, he has three lovely paces with a great step and an extremely comfortable canter, he is a nice leg on steady ride but is responsive and doesn’t make it hard work.

Bobby has seen coloured fences and XC fences, he has a brilliant technique and a very willing and ‘can do’ attitude. He will jump from trot or canter and doesn’t mind if you don’t get it right, a genuine sort.

Hacking wise, he’s super. He will go solo or with others, the same in open spaces as he is in the arena, and doesn’t look at traffic or the heavy stuff, just a nice little riding club type with a really sensible brain who will go on and do anyone’s job.

A real sweetheart on the ground, kind, affectionate and completely trustworthy. Just a genuinely really lovely little horse who wants to get it right.

Lady - 15.1, 5 year old Irish cob mare.

Lady is an absolute supermodel of a cob. Excellent conformation, a good mover with comfortable paces and a super temperament.

A lovely well mannered, well educated, unspoilt cob. Lady has been in the same home since a yearling. Grown up as far north in Ireland as you can go, been properly started by a lady rider with tons of hacking and is used to being hacked on the beach almost daily (tons of video footage of this) so is well used to wide open spaces.

Shown in hand as a youngster and did well.

Hacks alone or in company and is good in traffic.

Been to arena hires where she comes off the lorry and behaves exactly as she does at home with no silliness. Jumping a course of fences with fillers, she has a super pop on her and is very genuine. XC schooled proving really brave and honest.

Works away happily in arena with good transitions and a nice balanced canter. Flatwork would be what she’s done the least of but she’s just starting to learn about working into a contact and picking it up quickly. She’s definitely ready to crack on now and learn a bit more in this area.

Whilst Lady could go on and do anything she would just as happily go hacking for the rest of her life she doesn’t ‘need’ to be busy so she really is a bit of a unicorn. Shes a pleasure to ride she takes you forward and doesn’t need kicking along but she’s not wizzy or hot.

I think she’d look super smart hogged and clipped out but have left that to the next owner to decide! Never been ridden by a complete novice although has been borrowed in the summer holidays by previous owners niece who doesn’t ride loads so she will take a less experienced rider but I’d rather she didn’t go to a total novice.

Good to load/travel/catch/shoe/bath. Absolutely loves a fuss and a groom she’s very friendly.
No lumps/bumps/sarcoids/scabby legs or CPL.

Bonnie is a type increasingly hard to find, she’s a solid MW and a square leg at each corner sort but is still quality.

Bonnie is a real treasure. She is now working sweetly on the flat and starting to get the idea of working on the bridle, she is straightforwards to ride and happy to just continue if her rider has a wobble. She stays in a good rhythm and really tries to please, she is obviously still green but shows a lot of promise in her work and is naturally balanced. Bonnie is definitely a jumper!

She has got a great technique, and gets better with every session. She is just awesome, she’s very brave, careful and straightforward. She has had her first taste of XC with us and was great fun and very brave with a lot more to come from her! She will go on and do a bit of everything very well and be a top class all rounder.

I could see her going and being a lot of fun grassroots eventing, SJ (you wouldn’t know how much scope she’s got so who knows how far she will go!) she would be a machine out hunting (has now been on hound exercise with us and very well behaved), love fun rides or equally she’s kind and simple and loves

 

Her attitude to work is just the best, she is the definition of a trier. In addition to being such a total sweetheart under saddle she’s very kind to handle, good to catch, clip, box, good with farrier and just a ice easy person to have on the yard.

She is happy to live in, out and not mareish and friends with everyone.

I adore her and can’t wait to see what she becomes.

Super smart ID x Connemara bay roan gelding, to make 16 hands.

Wolfie was lightly backed at the end of last year, turned away for winter and restarted in April 2025. In this time he has proved to be willing and confident in all aspects of his work.
He hacks alone and in company and has been fantastic with all traffic he has met (tractors/ artic lorry/ motorbikes/ school buses/ milk tankers etc).
He enjoys jumping, has been to two arena hires and xc schooling, where he behaved and as yet hasn’t found any filler/ water tray/ obstacle a problem, jumping everything first time without a lead. His basic flatwork and paces are smart for a horse that’s been under saddle for 3.5 months with a LOT more to come with a bit of time and strength.
All this makes him a very exciting horse for someone to build a partnership with and have some fun.

Wolfie is good to shoe, load, travel, catch etc. He wasn’t clipped last year but I’ve run the clippers over him before trimming his feathers and he was fine.

Genuine reason for sale - his owner is about to undergo two fairly major operations and needs a lengthy amount of time to recuperate.

Gordon is a true irish hunter type. Fantastic temperament, he has an old mans head on young shoulders.

He has exceptional irish draught lines in his breeding to include, Parnell, Night nurse and Uibh Fhaili.

Gordon is broken in and riding well. Has been hacking around the farm as well as popping a small course in the School, showing ability for the future.

Gordon has attended a few riding club clinics and has done a few trec obstacles for fun. I have both his dam and grand dam on the farm. Both jump for fun.

He is by the lovely irish draught stallion Carriage Donovan who has a sliver merit for jumping himself as well as having a great temperament which he has passed on to Gordon. Gordon has been exposed to all farm machinery and traffic as well as livestock.

He is a real genuine type, with a bright future.

Hendrix is a bay, 5 year old ISH X cob. He has been with us on our farm for 3 years being produced slowly and steadily.

He is an uncomplicated ride, picking up things easily with a super kind nature on the ground & under saddle. He has hunted & xc - schooled . Hacks alone & in company with ease.

He is very comfortable around hounds, farm animals & in traffic.
