16.3hh, 7yo, maxi cob mare (Non-Marish). A genuine, quality sort that is hard to find, She has the presence and jump to stand out anywhere.

Under saddle she’s snaffle mouthed and done a little of everything. She is a forward going type and loves to jump (never gets strong or silly). Very brave and scopey over a fence and never says no.

Nicely Schooled and a very good mover will do well in the ring or equally would suit competent amateur who wants a competitive allrounder. She has been to multiple shows including stay away shows at Arena UK where she was a firm crowd favourite producing clears in the BN classes.

She’s good to hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic and is brilliant in open spaces.

No vices but not suitable for nervous riders as still only young and sensitive although she is very well behaved and very pleasant to deal with in all ways. Is sedated to clip.

There is not enough words to do this horse justice she is adored by everyone that meets her and deserves to find her forever home.

Will only be sold to a suitable 5* home. Please message for further information, photos and videos.

The sweetest and most genuine cob you could wish for! To make someone very happy, a super family cob, happy hacker, would possibly suit riding school. Carrot is a super chap, as wide as he is tall and like riding a comfy small armchair. He loves his hacking alone and in company, hasn’t been at all bothered by any traffic met with us and is very sensible.

He’s not the fastest but not overly bothered if out in company and he gets left behind by his sportier friends! Carrot is working sweetly in the school in all paces and will trot over a little jump, he’s very keen to please, he is still green but obedient to the aids and learning about outlines; he’s naturally very together on the flat , he’s a lovely mover and will with further schooling do a lovely dressage test.

He’s a super model of a traditional cob who moves really well and would do well in show ring (TGCA would be ideal for him) He’s still on the greener side of things but a very simple ride and always tries to please, his brain is wonderful to work with. He has been ridden by a variety of riders with us from confident novice upwards, everyone loves him! He has the most lovely can do attitude and just gets on with whatever you ask of him. With a bit more schooling he will do a very neat dressage test. Whatever he ends up doing he will give a lot of fun.

Carrots lovely temperament continues in and out the stable, he’s excellent to catch, box, clip, bath, feet trim ( barefoot v good feet) and just wants to be your friend.

Everyone who has met him falls in love with him. He doesn’t drive yet but would look wonderful in harness and has the right brain to do this job safely.

He has a lot to offer his new owners and we look forward to seeing him make someone really happy.

  • 9 years

  • Well bred by Western blues x Dock Leaf
  • A very reliable horse to hack and hunt
  • Schools well with good paces and lots of presence
Duchess is a serious stamp, that would excel as a show hunter, hunter or dressage horse.

Duchess is nicely bred, she is an Irish sports horse by ID stallion Western Blues out of an irish sports horse mare by Dock Leaf, she only has a small amount of TB blood, and to look at she looks like a full ID with good conformation and bone.

Duchess has previously been hunting in Ireland, once imported to the UK she has been in an amateur home enjoying hacking schoolwork, and riding club activities.

On the flat Duchess works in a beautiful outline showing off her stamp and presence. She is currently working at prelim/novice level with all the ability and attitude to go up the levels. She has competed at a training show with us, she was well behaved and judges commented on her correct way of going and ability.

Duchess hasn’t done an excessive amount of jumping due to her previous home not being jumpers. She has been around courses here of 70/80cm always progressing well and eager to please. She would be a super allrounder for someone wanting to have fun.

Duchess is good to hack alone and in company, and would certainly enjoy being back out on the hunt field, and recently did some fun rides. She is mannerly and does not get hot up in open spaces. Good in traffic, and is a reliable sort out hacking.

Duchess is not marish, she is good in the stable. She is good to catch, load, shoe, clip etc. She is a very easy horse to deal with and a pleasure to have on the yard.

For sale on behalf of a client, a sad sale with a genuine reason. Good home is priority.

No vices
Open to vet.

BILBO

Ref #: 399513
  • 15.2hh black Irish HW cob gelding rising 7 yrs
  • Fun all rounder, hack, possible hunter
SOLD!

  • 15.2hh black Irish HW cob gelding rising 7 yrs
  • Fun all rounder, hack, possible hunter

Bilbo is well known to us as we sold him as a four year old to his current owner. She has done a bit of everything with him and sent him back to us 14 months ago to find a new home, when push came to shove she couldn’t bare to part with him and she took him home again, shortly after this finding out she was pregnant and so he has been on loan to a local equine college for the past year. Bilbo has decided that college life is not for him and he would like a more varied workload and so has returned to us as his owners family keeps growing and she’s now not in a position to have him home.

Although he has worked in the college riding school he has learnt to get a little cheeky with the novices. Since being with us and being properly ridden again he hasn’t put a hoof wrong. Bilbo has been nicely schooled and works very well on the flat, he’s done some unaffiliated dressage and would enjoy continuing this. He will happily jump round a course of 70/80cm currently, isn’t bothered by fillers, water trays etc. and is brave and genuine. He has had limited XC outings but again is brave and gives a good feeling over a fence. He’s a solid chap and obviously not bred to show jump but gives everything a go and is good fun. I would say a competent novice who wants to do a bit of everything would be ideal for him, hes not sharp or silly but has a brain and found riding school work very boring.

Bilbo loves his hacking both alone and in company, he’s good in open spaces and good in traffic. He needs to find a rider who will give him variety in his work as the more he does the sweeter he is. He hunted in his youth with us and loved it and would love to get out again

Bilbo is very easy in and out the stable, good to box, catch, shoe, clip etc. and happy to live in or out. He’s a nice person to have in on the yard.
