15h, 3 rising 4 years,this delightful young man has done nothing but impress us and make us fall in love with him since he arrived! 

He came over from Ireland in September, a timid little chap at first, but it was immediately clear that, although wary, he was a very gentle, patient and kind boy who wanted to be your friend. 

Walter has been backed and ridden away gently here with us, he has been an utter delight throughout the process and shown himself to be a sweet, genuine young man who, when you give him time to understand what you are asking of him, will put his best foot forward and try his hardest for you. The progression in his confidence has been nothing short of incredible, this absolutely shows me what a remarkable temperament he has. 

Currently standing at 15h with growing to do, rising 4 years old, Walter is a registered Connemara gelding and he is N/N for HWSD. He is a very smart model, definitely a mini horse rather than an overgrown pony, he is naturally uphill, carries himself in a frame and has three active paces while still being steady rather than sharp or quick. 

Walter is very sweet to deal with, loves any and all attention, stands tied up patiently for a brush, picks his feet up nicely and was good for the farrier, he leads in from the field in a bunch or on his own, he is good to tack up and stands like a rock at the mounting block. He doesn’t mind if he is left on his own on the yard or out in the field and he goes out with mares and geldings.   

Walter has not been rushed at all, he has only been in the school under saddle a handful of times and has been in a different arena away from home where he behaved beautifully, he is not at all spooky and is a more leg on type although still responsive. He is hacking happily around out through the fields, farm and village, he is happy to lead the way, jolly along behind or mooch along upsides without being worried about another horse next to him. He rides and leads well too. He always has a smile on his face. 

Walter’s education is shown in all the videos below which have been in the last few weeks, he is enjoying his work and always tries his hardest. You can safely get on him after a week off and he is the same lovely Walter, no need for lunging first and he always stands beautifully at the mounting block. 

Absolutely a performance pony in the making, Walter will be someone’s horse of a lifetime with his amazing, gentle, kind temperament, an absolute best friend once he knows you, his ideal BFF will be someone looking to get tons of enjoyment out of bringing on/teaching/progressing with a youngster over the winter, putting in the groundwork knowing he has had the basics done and not been rushed or overdone on his young bones. 

He has been out on the XC on the lunge, he went through the water and up and down the steps and banks without hesitation. In his winter woolies at the moment, he will be exceptionally smart in his summer clothes - such a cracking colour!

Such a sweet mare with a heart of gold !

A very brave horse cross country and she is really enjoying her jumping! Ditches, water, steps are no problem to her. The type that will happily canter around jumping and then will walk calmly on a loose rein.

Has hunted on multiple occasions with the roscommons , proving to be safe , sensible and very brave to anything we have faced her at. A very mannerly and comfortable ride.

Very easy to ride round a course of fences , doesn’t rush or pull but stays in a positive rhythm. Not phased by spooky fillers and comfortably jumping around 90/1m courses.

Ridden in a snaffle at all times , she is incredibly mannerly for a big horse. Has competed at local shows, always in the placings, she has huge presence and a real head turner! Her behaviour is impeccable off the yard, she stands quietly and doesn’t hot up or get silly.

Her flatwork is coming along very well, she is light and responsive without being sharp. She has very good natural balance and would be an exciting dressage prospect!

She has been carefully and slowly produced being mindful of her size. She has the makings of a top class hunter with her easy brain and love for cross country. Good to hack, clip, box, shoe, catch.

This mare will be a real pleasure to own!

Geronimo is a very flashy, yet easy horse to manage in every aspect. He has competed mainly in BSJA with myself since I bought him as a 9yo, but I have also done fun rides, xc schooled and do lots of flatwork with him.

He has been a fantastic horse for myself with lots of placings up to Foxhunter but I now looking for a lower level allrounder life style. He would still easily go out and jump 90cm/1m and be extremely competitive, but he loves doing all the hacking and other stuff too! Geronimo moves beautifully on the flat and my 60yo mum rides him out round the fields too, he is the safest on our yard.

He has absolutely no vices and really is a bargain for the horse he is. Although he is easy to do, he iso a novice ride as he is a blood horse.

Roo is back with me on sales livery after spending the last six months in a lovely home where he’s done plenty of hacking, schooling, and treadmill sessions.

I’m really hoping to find Roo his forever home now, he’s such a special horse, and I know him inside and out. He came straight from Ireland to me. I broke him in for his owner and kept him for a year’s schooling, so I have plenty of videos from the very start of his education right up to now.

Roo is such a loving, happy horse with so much joy to give to someone. He’s not spooky at all, you can ride him in any weather and past absolutely anything. He’s very brave and confident in his own skin.

He’s perfect to hack alone or in company, and loves exploring. He’ll happily plod around on the buckle end, totally relaxed.

Roo is schooling sweetly on the flat, though still a big baby who needs a balanced, confident rider, someone who enjoys bringing on young horses and getting the best out of them. He pops a fence nicely and is bold, though I’ve not done masses with him yet, preferring to take things slowly given his age and size.

He’s an absolute dream to handle in every way. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this horse.

I can see Roo excelling in dressage with more work, or equally turning his hoof to eventing in the right hands. He loves a varied lifestyle and really enjoys hacking.

You can leave him for a couple of weeks and hop straight back on, he’s always good. But I do want him to go to a home that will keep him in regular work (at least 5 days a week) to keep his brain occupied and happy.

15.1 4 year old british sports gelding. handsome horse with so much love.

Pharoah is my super handsome jet black British sports horse. He is fantastic to hack, straight out onto a busy road and will hack happily both alone and in company. He’s brilliant with all kinds of traffic and you could jump on him after weeks off and go straight out on his own no bother. He’s great for water too happily goes straight in!

He’s a good doer for a finer type, always looked really well and doesn’t take much feeding. He’s got great stamina, always seems fit and energetic even when not ridden all the time.

In the school he is greener but I have had him popping little courses or jumps up to around 70cm. He loves his flat work, moves of your leg and picks things up quickly. He gets excited and wants to go faster when the poles come out so could just do with more schooling over poles and some regular consistent flat work. All just age related being a baby and not been overproduced for his age.

In the stable he is a total comedian. He will throw his bucket around when it’s empty and pick up anything within reach of his stable to play with. He loves a cuddle and smooch and will be straight over when you’re mucking him out to say hello. He used to take my hat silk off when I was tacking him up. He’s a really sweet boy and he’s going to be truly missed from our yard.

He’s turned out with a mixed heard no problem and has a real bromance with my other gelding.

He’s good for the farrier, to catch, rug up. Walks straight on any trailer I’ve had and travels well.

He is only for sale because I have two other horses that are older and are out competing and I’m trying to do the sensible thing and put all my time into those two rather than stretch myself with 3 (amongst other projects) as well as having a toddler, house renovation and job to do. I’m absolutely gutted to be selling him but my husband is firm on not having 3 to keep.

I could include his bridle and martingale for the full asking price and reluctantly sell his saddle for £500 on top. It’s a super comfy beautiful leather saddle with changable gullet. We have an arena with lights and easy local hacking for any ridden trial.

Vino is part trotter so please do not expect him to move like a grand prix dressage horse. Vino was backed late, so although he is 7 in age think of him more as a 5yo in education. For this reason he would not be suitable for a novice rider. He needs a confident educated rider who can further his training and who can bring the best out of him. Vino is a wonderful character and is one of the favourites on the livery yard where he is based.

He is working well on the flat in all 3 paces, he is very willing, loves to work and loves to please. He jumps well although he isn't always the bravest, he has a huge jump and with confidence, training and guidance he will learn that he doesn't always need to use maximum effort. He has a lovely soft nature and loves attention.

Vino is good to bath, shoe, catch, groom, dentist etc. ( he will hack well alone or in company first or last)

Vino is for sale as his current owner over horsed herself at the start (she is only 14, small and novice)
She has tried to persevere with him with regular lessons and training for him but she cannot maintain his way of going.

We truly believe Vino will flourish with a more knowledgeable rider, and the current owner would come on with an older, more been there done it type that is a little smaller.

Nula

Nula is a ISH by the Sire Shannondale Sarco ST Ghyvan and the Dam Lisoeen Clover.

Nula is an exceptional horse with a positive work attitude. She has been ridden by a teenager over the past year and a half, significantly boosting her confidence in jumping. Nula is now seeking a new companion to guide through their riding journey.

She will hack alone and in company past anything we have hacked her on the buckle past a building site.

Nula was imported from Ireland at nine months old. After being trained, she found a home where she stayed for ten years. Subsequently, she went on to guide a teenager for four years and then on to us.

Good to box but needs the middle partition out when traveling forward on a trailer. Easy to shoe, catch, clip (needs to be clipped outside will not let you do it in a stable). Can live in or out with anything. No vices (she does slightly weave when she wants something like her feed or to be turning out) and good with dogs.

In her previous homes she has been affiliated showjumping, also been hunting, cross country. We have taken her to fun rides and she loves it. This experience could make her suitable for an all-round home. She would also do a season hunting.

She’s fun and forward definitely not a plod but absolutely safe in every way.

Up to date with farrier, vaccinations, physio.
Loads first time every time.
Perfect to lunge.

Not a novice ride as she is forward going.
