Kildangan Erin has just turned 5yrs old and is approx 15.2hh, she's lightly backed and we have done long reining across the mountain roads, she has been ridden around the yard off lead and led around the arena, so green but well started.

Erin has seen lots of machinery working around the yard and would be a perfect horse to educate over the summer months. Erin is well handled and good with the farrier, vet, wash, groom and load.

Erin bred us a gorgeous foal last year.

Jax is a very talented small horse who oozes presence in the arena. He combines the power and big movement of a warmblood with a sensible brain and strong work ethic.

Jax has three fantastic paces. He is currently working at elementary level at home and has won both dressage competitions that he has attended (Prelim and Novice). He has the ability and temperament to progress up the levels with ease. He has been on farm rides, jumping clinics, to the beach and hacks anywhere both alone and in company and is unphased by heavy traffic or large farm machinery.

Jax would be best suited to a competent, competitive teenager or small adult who is looking to enjoy a well rounded, safe horse with all the talent and experience ready to go out and win. He offers a unique opportunity for a rider to acquire a horse who has experienced competing in big atmospheres but without having a ridden record to restrict the level he can compete at. He is a responsive and forward ride with a great ability to collect. He is light in the hand with a fantastic, active hind leg and a great level of fitness without being sharp or silly. With his current owner, Jax has competed in carriage driving and has competed internationally all over Europe; coming 21st individually and 5th on the British team at the World Championships last year. However, throughout his driving career Jax has also been schooled under saddle and so is a well established ridden horse too. His career in the carriage is a real attribute to him as it has made him a very strong, accomplished and a level headed horse who has had the exposure to large atmospheres so they are second nature to him. I’ve had patchy 7 years and she really has been a teenage girls best friend. She’s taken me from never been eventing before to noviceand always looked after me. Patchy has on every Pony Club and Riding club team you could ever imagine, jumped up to 1.15 and novice xc although she has schooled over plenty intermediate lines. She is uncomplicated to ride, and helps you out at a fence whether it’s in the sj ring or out on the xc course. She rides like a mini horse but thinks like a pony, nippy and quick against the clock. She’s been to countless sj championships and big events.

She’s a beast out xc, only ever had one xc fault as the jockey was rusty at the first event out. Hunted all the big days out hunting new year day, Boxing Day etc jumps all the big hedges and keeps up with the master, then stands impeccably at the port stops. Her dressage is her weakest point but in all fairness I’m no dressage rider and didn’t have a lot of experience or time to fix it whilst doing GCSEs alevels etc. She has done some lovely work with other riders on the flat.

She’s not based by fillers and loves a big occasion, jumped indoors, outdoors, on grass, in the deepest mud she really just loves her job. Great to load, take away and stands and waits impeccably on a lorry or trailer for her turn. I also ride and lead all the young horses off her and she’s not fased. She’s got a lovely temperament lives in or out, easy to do in every way.

You can clip her and head, legs etc but is a little nervous and she does weave only if she’s the last one in or waiting a long time for dinner but if you tell her to stop she does.

Super sad sale of a beloved little horse but as the other horses are coming up id hate for her to go to the bottom of the pile. 5* home only

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 5 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 2 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Must work in a nice soft outline as I do like the odd dressage test.

Must be able to go on a fun ride without going mental.

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.2hh don’t want anything smaller. May consider something bigger but I am only 5ft2 so don’t want to be over horsed.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Penstrumbly Welsh Anthem is a super smart little horse with good conformation, a gorgeous head and a lovable kind temperament.

He is obedient and works nicely in the school into a correct outline. He is a forward, responsive ride but he isnt sharp and doesnt buck, rear, nap etc.

He has been out to local venues to do SJ hire and see fillers. He has also done some arena XC eventing including ditches, steps and water, proving to be genuine but green and needing reassurance from his rider.
He loves to jump but can get buzzy so not suitable for a nervous or inexperienced rider.

Connor is a firm favourite on the yard. He has a huge personality, owning him is always a laugh a minute as he has a great sense of humour.

Connor has been with me for a year and a half, he has been out towards the end of the hunting season to grab a few days with the Fernie/local drag packs. He proved to be very well behaved at the meet and was ridden in a snaffle. He is a very chilled horizontal kind of guy and he behaved as such out hunting! He was good with hounds and other horses and popped a couple of ditches and tiger traps. He is not a made hunter but he was impeccably behaved.

Connor has been to arena hires- including dressage boards, all weather xc and Showjumps. He has also been xc schooling on grass. He is incredibly generous and genuine in his nature and will as a rule give everything a go- if you kick and steer he tries his best! He’s good with fillers, water trays, ditches, water, skinnies and brush.

He has been to a hunter trial as his first go at xc and he was an absolute star and tried his little heart out.

Connor has done a couple of intro UA dr tests and behaved well, he is not scared or spooky of dressage boards.

Connor is good to hack alone or in company, on roads and in fields. He is good in traffic and farm machinery. He never naps. He can be a little young horse spooky but never unpredictable!

He is working sweetly in the school and he has a lovely soft mouth and works in a natural outline. He has a good step and a rocking horse canter.

Connor has no health issues and is N/N hoof wall. He is good to load and travel o Lorries and trailers. He is good to clip and shoe and is shod all round.

Connor is a fun loving comedian. He is still a young and green little horse so he is not suitable for a novice home- however he has been used to give friends children lead rein lessons and frequently has our 6mth old baby plonked on him in the stable.
