Nancy is a 15.2hh TB x Warmblood mare with a kind nature and a genuinely lovely attitude. She’s the sort that’s getting harder to find — straightforward, willing and a pleasure to have around. Completely un-mareish, easy in every way and happy living in or out, alone or in company.
Ridden by a petite 5’5 lady in a snaffle at all times.

She’s done a little bit of everything. She’s been cross country schooling and happily popped everything first time — corners, hedges, skinnies, and straight in and out of water. She’s forward going but not strong (full control in a snaffle!). I think she’d make a great eventer.
She’s also been autumn hunting once where she behaved impeccably — stood quietly at the meet, jumped ditches, hedges and rails and wasn’t phased by anything going on around her.

Nancy is great to hack, both alone and in company, and will happily lead or be led. She’s sensible in traffic and not phased by tractors, trailers or combines. My boyfriend, who had never ridden before, has hacked her too.

She’s easy to do in all ways — good to shoe, clip, catch, load and travel.

She’s done a bit of showjumping and is brave and genuine to a fence. She’s bold, honest and always wants to get to the other side. She will happily help you out if you miss and has never spooked at fillers, water trays etc. She’s been to a couple of shows and clear rounds where she’s taken everything in her stride. She’s currently popping 1.15/1.20 at home.

She’s low mileage for her age purely due to my work commitments in London and lack of time, so hasn’t been overdone and is ready for someone to continue producing her. She’s the sort you can drag out of the field after two weeks off and get straight back on with. Unfortunately, she’s now being wasted with me.

She comes from proven lines (sire is Vegas), with her brother competing to 4* level.

Nancy had kissing spine surgery back in 2023. Her rehab was done slowly and properly which is reflected in how great she is now.
This is a very honest advert — she is exactly as described. Only for sale due to work commitments in London as I’m having to give up horses entirely, so this is a genuinely sad sale.

The right home is the absolute priority for this lovely mare. No dealers please.

She is priced sensibly for her current mileage, experience and genuinely perfect nature, and this will increase as she gets out to more shows over the summer.

Elsie is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. She is very well bred with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. She is a very unique gorgeous dun who really stands out from the crowd and catches the eye. She is an ideal size for teens coming off ponies as well as adults so would make a brilliant mother/ daughter share too. She is a very desirable type that will do lots of jobs. She has excellent conformation, is blemish free and has straight movement with very good feet (Nn for hoof wall). Elsie has three super paces. She is starting to work correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. She is nice and light in the contact and always ridden in a snaffle. She is a good medium speed who is nicely forward going with good transitions. She is nice and straight forward to ride with a good brain to work with. Although she is lovely now she is still a bit green in areas and would like a competent rider to continue producing her into the super star she is turning into. She is a nicely responsive ride so just needs a squeeze and not a pony club kick, so a rider with a bit of feel would be her perfect match. Elsie loves her jumping and makes a lovely neat shape over a fence. She nicely takes you into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. She doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward and wants to do the job. She is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. She has been to several jumping arena hires and training clear rounds where she has shown lots of potential for all riding club competitions as well as pure BS. She is very easy to ride around a course of fences and has currently been jumping around 80cm with scope to go much higher. She is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to her jumping. She is now ready to go out to clinics and competitions. She is equally as bold over xc jumps. She is very ridable and jumped everything asked of her in a sensible manner including water and ditches. She is a very straight forward ride and takes her rider into the fences nice and confidently. I can see her really excelling as an eventer too as she shows lots of potential at all 3 disciplines. She would make a super Badminton grass roots/ Cotesworld cup contender.

Elsie is lovely to hack both alone and in company. She is very good in traffic. She is superb in open spaces, just takes everything in her stride and goes along with a smile on her face. She is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein. She has been on pleasure rides which she loves and is so much fun. She would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with riding club, or equally just one or the other. She has also hunted in Ireland with a teenage girl proving to be very polite and easy going.

Elsie has a superb kind friendly temperament. She is extremely polite and respectful of your space. She loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as she is so interactive and forms a really strong bond with her person. She loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. She is a good to handle in all ways. She lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, she is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies.
