Extremely safe when hacking as he has been on rides around a country park and regularly hacks down a busy A road, alone or in company.

He has been to many arena hires and XC trainings. Hes currently out unaffiliated showjumping at 80cm and training higher at home. For a little horse he has scope to burn!

He has the most easy going temperament and never changes from day to day. Loose schooling he has shown potential to be jumping 1.10m+ in the future.

He has exceptional breeding as his Damsire is Wolfgang and his Grandsire is Ishiguru so is half-brother to Pippa Funnell's MCS Maverick! He has all the makings to be a lovely horse for someone.

Ziggy is a 5YO 15.3 gelding I have owned since a foal. He is one of the easiest young horses I have had the pleasure of producing.

He has schooled and competed in Arena Eventing, Showjumping and dressage showing lots of potential. He particularly excels at dressage and has scored 70%+ on more than one occasion. He also enjoys farm rides and hacking out alone or in company.

He has a lovely laid back disposition and would suit someone looking for a horse on the quieter side to produce and take part in competitions. He is more kick than pull. He is good for the farrier, to clip, & he travels alone or in company.

He is also happy to live in or out, in company or alone (he currently goes out in the day and in at night). Teeth and worming are all up to date.

History known from 6months old , broken summer 24 and now riding away nicely , beautiful straight paces , very flashy and likes to get attention, schools beautifully in a consistent outline,

Showjumped course of 85 so far, and 1/1.05 m over single fence at home and easily popping this with no effort, definitely not his limit. Been to showjump arena hire and showjump clinics , also been to arena UK for stay away show where he has jumped the clear round everyday.

Been arena xc for the first time where he had a go at everything and showed some great potential

Good in open spaces , happily has a canter/gallop up 10acre field and straight back to walk on the buckle to cool off , hacking out nicely , a really sweet Genuine boy.

Can be left two weeks and just get straight back on not bothered at all.

Has got scars on back legs from field mate as a youngster but just cosmetic nothing more and have never caused him any problems so unfortunately couldn't do showing.

Went to arena UK second rounds show last month and did the clear round every day for just 4 faults , ready for someone to progress with.

Absolute gent to handle in and out of stable, golden to clip this winter including his head.

Benny is a charming young horse who is easy to do. He is polite in the stable, friendly and curious. He loves a good groom. He ties up well to be tacked up.

At the mounting block he was initially anxious but this has improved.

Benny is good with the vet, has passed recent 5 stage vetting which can be seen and is of course open to your own vet / any vetting. He has had regular worm counts and a clear strangles test.

At his vetting his teeth were done and he has regular physio without issue.

He is polite for the farrier and is currently shod all round.

Benny is confident with traffic and the heavy farm machinery.

In the school Benny is working well and improving everyday. However he is NOT a Novice ride due not only to his age. He is a potential competition horse, very forward, sensitive to the aids. Off the leg and light in the hand. When unsure he can spook therefore he needs a capable rider who will reassure and is quick to praise when he does the right thing.

Benny is a proven Hunter and I'm told he was always well-behaved. Polite with the hounds and other horses, stood quietly when asked at the meet and in the field. He was bold and jumped everything without question.

This is a very sad sale of a truly special little horse who has been the best start and will have a great future ahead of him. Wherever he goes in whatever discipline he's sure to have a bright future. Genuine reason for sale.
