This is our lovely homebred gelding Henry!

Henry is a beautiful stamp of a large riding horse with exceptional movement which will surely take him to the top. He is competition bred, related to many top show horse winners and champions and supreme champions at top County Shows including HOYS and RIHS! He was born here on the farm to a beautiful, lovely tempered IDxTB mare who is by the very well regarded Glidawn Diamond. His dam has won herself at County level in hand showing. His sire is our stunning stallion Watervalley Cool Guy who is by the renowned prolific stallion Loughehoe Guy who stood at the famous Watervalley Stud in Co Galway Ireland. Every horse Watervalley Cool Guy has sired thus far (he is a young lad) has been placed in top level showing homes so this is a fantastic opportunity to aquire a horse who has all the right attributes and relations to be a truly exciting showing prospect.

Successfully competed BD Small Tour, winning Area Festivals at Prix St Georges and Intermediate I, she is now looking for a step down and a more relaxed lifestyle, ideally a Showing/Riding Club home rather than a predominately dressage focused home. She jumps for fun, happily pops round 90cm - 1m.

First season showing was 2024 and was Champion each time out, including winning the Rising Star Large Riding Horse Qualifier for London International Horse Show 2024, the BSHA Spring Show Rising Star Associate Riding Horse/Hack Qualifier and went Rising Star Associate Champion 2024. She loved competing at LIHS with the big atmosphere and crowd.

Hacks alone or in company, first or last, we regularly meet Tractors, Bin Lorries, School Buses/Coaches out hacking and cross the busy main road to get to the local gallops. Very polite in open spaces, will walk until you ask her to go quicker and happy to go through water.

Loves to work and enjoys a varied life, she does not buck, rear, bolt but is not for a novice rider. She is vice free.

Good to box, shoe, clip, catch, can be lead in from field by 8 year old. Travels in Trailer and Lorry and will happily stand eating whilst in the Trailer/Lorry at shows.

Duke is 160cm rising 5yo Gelding with top class breeding with a full green Irish passport.

He is just backed at then back end of last year but showing top quality and all the attributes to be a top horse for the future in whatever discipline his new power would decide.

Duke has already Hacked out, inc. open fields with young rider. Popped hedges, XC schooled and been to his first showjumping shows jumping clear rounds!

Duke is very brave, he was happy going round all XC jumps, inc. ditches, water, steps etc. all without a lead! He was a gentleman at his first show and a real eye catcher in the warm up arenas with his stunning looks! He proved un-spooky in the SJ ring jumping all fillers etc without any questions!

This little chap really is the full package. He has beautiful floaty movements, a natural textbook jumping technique, Fantastic balance, all alongside the most lovely trainable attitude and careful brain. We truly believe Duke has all the attributes to make it to the very top in any sphere!!

Although Duke is still green, he has a lovely kind nature and great intelligence. He would be a lovely horse for someone to put their own stamp on and to mould into their next superstar!
