Sweet on the flat, real easy and leg in each corner type, ride around with no hands , etc! Would totally take a novice!

Just been to the cricklands winter league finals where she placed every single day in a very big and fast class with some superb turns. However , as well as being competitive , she’d totally trot around over cross poles and be very easy

Orla has been XC schooling, hunted and funrides

Hacks out superb in traffic, alone or in company, and super in open spaces

From my own assessments of her I’d say she’s a fantastic mare who’s anyone’s ride!! HOWEVER , after getting in contact with a previous owner it’s come to light that Orla can get some separation anxiety and in term develop a nappy streak where she has been known to rear. I personally haven’t seen this side of her and not sure I’ll believe it till I see it! I’ve also been in this job long enough to know that horses are very clever and they know when there’s an opportunity and when there isn’t. So for that reason I will only sell her to someone who’s very confident and competent who takes no messing and has a job for the mare. To the right person you won’t hear a peep out of her , just like myself. Please don’t be offended if I won’t sell her to you , it’s clear the mare needs a job and routine to get the best out of her like we see here day in , day out.

We are thrilled to announce that Julian Mincher Equestrian now has its very own premises on the London/Essex border. We have recently settled into our new home at Aldborough Hall Equestrian and are excited about the future.

Since moving in, we’ve carried out extensive renovations, including transforming the indoor arena, which now boasts a state-of-the-art Andrews Bowen jumping surface.

This is truly a magical place, located just 12 miles from Trafalgar Square with excellent access to motorways and transport networks. The Central and Elizabeth Underground lines are just a mile from our yard, with Fairlop station being the nearest. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk directly across Fairlop Waters to reach us.

Set within over 50 acres of stunning parkland, Aldborough Hall Equestrian is a charming retreat. The stables are arranged in a traditional courtyard surrounding a tranquil garden. Our indoor arena measures an impressive 60 x 25 metres, while the outdoor arena, set to undergo refurbishments in spring 2025, is a generous 100 x 60 metres. The grounds also feature a variety of permanent cross-country fences, adding to the diverse training opportunities available.

One of the highlights of Aldborough Hall is the exceptional hacking. A private track leads directly from the yard onto Fairlop Waters, where you’ll find an all-weather track that extends for miles in a circular route, ideal for year-round use. Additionally, there are grass canter tracks throughout the park, providing variety for schooling and a welcome change from arena work—all without the worry of encountering traffic.

We feel incredibly fortunate to call Aldborough Hall Equestrian our home and are delighted to share this wonderful place with our clients and horses.

Approx 15.3hh 8yr old bay mare by the famous Plot Blue. Hannah is a flashy bold mare that loves her job. She is a forward going fun snaffle mouthed ride that takes the leg but. She has 3 level paces, is very genuine and will go off any stride always wanting to help her rider out. She loves her jumping and isn’t spooky with fillers water trays etc. With having low bs points she would be a real contender for someone to bring up through the levels and gain their double clears and aim for second rounds. she jumped 2 lovely clear rounds at the weekend with a 15yr old girl.

She would suit a competent teenager coming off ponies or a keen amateur wanting to go out and having some fun. She has been Xc schooling, hunting, bs shows including Hickstead. Since being with us she has been ridden and jumped by a 15yr old girl.

This lovely horse has been in the same home for 2 years and is only for sale due to having a young family and work commitments. A good home is very important to the owners. Good
