This stunning homebred gelding has benefitted from the expertise of an advanced rider and British Dressage (BD) judge, ensuring he has been professionally backed and sympathetically produced. Such careful handling has provided him with the perfect foundation for a successful ridden career.
At just five years old, he was already delivering impressive results, achieving a 77% score in a preliminary test. Following a brief hiatus—while his former owner took time away to establish a business—he returned to competition under a new owner. In his first season back, he quickly qualified at both Prelim and Novice levels for area festivals and regionals with remarkable ease, subsequently going on to compete at the prestigious Petplan Nationals.
He boasts three expressive, high-quality gaits, regularly earning scores of 8 for his paces. His movement is further highlighted by a large, impressive walk and a well-balanced, uphill canter, marking him out as a future star with all the right attributes.
On the ground, he is affectionate, enjoying attention and pampering—much like a pet dog. He is very people-oriented and easy to handle in all respects, including shoeing, loading, and travelling.
Even with his striking appearance and expressive movement, he is a delight to hack out anywhere. He has been on riding holidays and enjoys both jumping and pole work. This makes him an excellent candidate for professional, amateur, or para riders seeking a horse with genuine wow factor.
No health issues, has had a small sarcoid removed early this year. No vices, open to vetting and x rays.
A knowledgeable five-star home is sought for this very special gelding, as he deserves the highest standard of care and attention.
