Gorgeous George is a 16.2h 13 year old registered warmblood bay gelding. He is absolutely stunning inside and out and looks a real picture of health with his gleaming bright coat. He catches the eye where ever he goes with his generous kind eye. He is a real quality horse with very good conformation, clean limbs, no blemishes and straight movement. He is a very nice stamp who would appeal to a lady, gent or a competent teenager. He would be perfect for someone wanting to do some dressage, hacking, pleasure rides and clinics. He loves a varied lifestyle and really thrives on his work, yet he doesn’t need daily riding as never gets sharp or fresh. He has a wonderful friendly temperament and is perfect to do in all ways and forms a very strong bond with his owner. He is just a real pleasure who will put a smile on your face very day.

George has 3 very good paces and schools beautifully on the flat giving you a real quality feeling. He has a great walk where he really opens his shoulder and has a big over track. His trot is nice and active with lots of adjustability through the paces within the trot. His canter is very uphill and comfortable; you could sit to it all day long. He works in a correct outline between hand and leg, he’s nice and light in the hand and likes an elastic contact, he wouldn’t like a heavy handed rider. He is snaffle mouthed. He is a forward going ride who is nicely responsive to aids and transitions. He is a real pleasure to ride as you don’t have to keep nagging him with your leg and equalling you don’t have to keep pulling him back. He appreciates a quiet rider with some feel who is used to riding a responsive quality horse. He is a safe ride who makes his rider feel confident as he isn’t at all spooky or sharp. He is the sort of horse where you have to learn his buttons to get the most out of him but he is very rewarding as he makes you ride properly. He is schooling at elementary level and is established with lateral work. He has competed lots at unaffiliated preliminary and novice dressage in his previous home with good scores showing lots of promise to move up the levels. He is ready to affiliate and go out and compete BD. He has also been out to lots of clinics including pole work clinics which he really enjoys. He is easy to take out to places and rides the same as he does at home filling you with confidence.

George loves to hack both alone and in company and really is a superb hack. He is safe and sensible but has so much quality too which is hard to come across. He is like a Rolls Royce to ride, he is nicely forward going and has lots of manners. He hacks straight out on a main through road and is good with traffic, just likes a little space from big traffic like lorries and tractors, I just pull into a driveway and stand and wait for the lorry to pass and he stands rock solid and patiently waits. He is confident in his own skin and doesn’t rely on other horses for his confidence out hacking. I hack him out for miles on his own and he gives me such a lovely ride. He is very sensible in open spaces too and you can just hold the buckle and he will just walk along without trying to rush off. He is fabulous on pleasure rides, I feel he really loves these; he will go in any order in a calm relaxed manner. He is perfect to ride on the beach, again he is very chilled out and waits to be asked to trot and canter. He gave me and my friends so much fun on the beach; we all had a ride on him! He is amazing to canter along river banks; he isn’t spooky with birds flying out in front of him. A friend of mine has hacked him out a few times who has recently had a baby and hasn’t ridden for months and George instilled so much confidence into her and made her feel very safe. He really is a delight to hack and will offer his rider so much fun. He is the definition of a posh hack.

George has evented in the past and does have a bold scopey jump however I feel that he doesn’t enjoy the jumping anymore, he doesn’t stop at jumps, he just rushes. I haven’t personally jumped him though as I bought him purely for dressage and pleasure rides/hacking. So there is no reason why he couldn’t learn to enjoy jumping with an experienced jump rider however I would prefer him to go to a flatwork/hacking home as I think a lot of George and want him to be happy.

George has such a fantastic temperament, he is a real gentleman with manners to urn. He loves people and having attention, he forms such a strong bond with his owner. He is perfect to lead, groom, tack up, with the farrier, to clip ect. He loves and thrives off his routine of night turnout and coming in during the day, however hes great with the reverse and equally he stayed stabled 24/7 for odd weeks when it got too wet to turnout. He turns out individually or mixes well with other geldings. He is very easy to have around and always puts a smile on my face. He is such a lovely interactive character that just fills your heart. George must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and cherish, he really deserves this!

George would love to go to a home where he will get a varied workload with some schooling, hacking, fun rides and the odd clinic thrown in, he loves variety and also lunges and does ground work very well too. He would make someone a superb dressage horse, posh hack and fun pleasure ride horse. He really does have so much to offer and will be a horse of a life time! You will not get a nicer moving Irish draught, he literally is incredible. Finn was imported from Ireland early Dec 23 fairly unhandled and nervous and I have enjoyed working with him for the past 6 months, he has been an absolute angel from start to finish.

He is backed and continuing his education daily with Levi Critchlow and Holly Davies and ready now to be produced further.

He is good to trim, catch, load, in traffic, he was clipped with sedation because it was his first time however a friend then took his head off with no sedation so I don’t think he will be a problem. He is still a little nervous around new people and the vet but there is absolutely no harm in him.

He would excel in a showing home as a heavy weight hunter or in the ridden ID classes, a general all round pleasure RC horse or a hunting horse basically would suit a lot of people. He is extremely brave.

He is unfortunately for sale as I need a horse to go out and about on now and with him being only just 4 and a big boy would be unfair to do this for another year or so and my main horse needs the pressure off him. I would love to keep in touch with new owners.

Has had a few very small sarcoids removed. Can come with all tack and rugs.

We purchased Kaila for our 13 year old daughter as a 5 year old, whilst she was coming off ponies. Kaila has been the perfect buy giving her confidence and providing an opportunity to be competative at BS.

Due to achademic comitments and no fault of Kaila's we are offering her for sale. She is easy to do in all ways, box, shoe, clip, load, catch, handle on the floor and in the saddle. Happy hacking out on her own or with other horses, confident on the beach and grass.

She will give an amatuer rider young or older a lot of fun competing at a number of disciplines. She has three lovely paces and lots of scope when jumping. Happy jumping upto a 1.10m an ideal horse for a youngster coming of ponies.

We have competed up to Newcomers and she has always achived her second rounds, and is competative. She did win Bolsworth at 1.20m as 4 year old and is very talanted.

Silvie is a 16.2hh 5yo ISH. She is a good stamp of horse with plenty of bone, she still has plenty of finishing up growing to do, but is a substantial ride and comfortably carries a man as well as being owned by a small lady rider.

Silvie was imported from Ireland and professionally broken in England and has been slowly brought on over the last year. She has always been easy and straight forwards.

Silvie is great in traffic, farm machinery, motorbikes etc. She hacks alone or in company and doesn’t nap. She is good to ride around the fields and doesn’t light up, will happily canter in a group at the front or back.

Silvie has hunted 5 days with the Fernie. She hunted in a snaffle, she was well mannered at the meet and was always brave and careful with her jumping. She was happy to leave the rest of the field to come home away from the other horses.

She has attended many shows, training shows, and been schooling to lots of venues. She has competed UA SJ, Dr, ODE, Hunter trials. She has attended fun rides. She is well behaved to stand on the lorry or trailer and she travels and loads easily.
Silvie works well on the flat, she has a soft mouth and correct paces. She will excel in dressage, has a trainable attitude towards her work and has just started learning her lateral movements.

She is not suitable for a total novice home, purely as she is a 5yo and still in the early stages of her education, but she is safe enough for example a novice partner/friend to ride her.

She doesn’t really get overly fresh or silly and is about as level headed as a 5yo with her education can be!

She is good to shoe, clip, mane pull, bath, load, travel, stand on lorry. She is happily turned out with one other or in a group.

Silvie has no sweet itch, splints, or any health issues and is open to vet.

She has a couple of small sarcoids- one is a flat one and one is the size of a pea- neither interfere with tack.

No loans, no tack or rugs included. Excellent trial facilities and genuine sad reason for sale.

She would be suited to a riding club, hunting, Allrounder home where a competent amateur would have lots of fun producing and putting their own stamp on her!

For sale - Fountain Finn

11yr, 16.2hh (approx), Bay, Gelding, Irish Sports Horse

Very sad sale. Finn works lovely on the flat and produces a nice outline, showing potential for an excellent dressage test. He has a comfortable canter with flying changes on both reins. He is currently working on his walk and trying to get him to be more forward overall. With further work and training Finn would do pure dressage.

Finn is an inexperienced jumper but is currently working on this and getting better everyday. He recently went out to Speetley Equestrian Centre and jumped clear, round the clear round.

Up to date with everything. Good for the farrier, vet, dentist and to clip. Loads and travels well but doesn’t like to stand on the lorry alone if it’s not moving and becomes quite agitated. With more patience and experience he will get better.

Finn is a safe hack. He’s happy to go alone and in company.

Finn is ready to put your own stamp on. He hasn’t been out much but is willing and ready to learn. He is not a first horse as he needs a kind, confident and experienced home who can offer him routine. With the right rider he will make a super all rounder. He has nipped in the past but seems to have matured out of it.

Currently stabled with Phillip Curtis Showjumper in Doncaster for schooling to further his jumping education.

Mr Handsome Pants (aka Conker) is a very handsome 9yo (rising 10) British Sport Horse who is now sadly looking for his new home.

Conker is a super all rounder for Riding Club, Dressage, UA SJ/XC/ODE with so much to give the right person.

He's straight, sound and clean limbed, in regular work and ready to go and have some fun with his new best friend!

He is low mileage for his age, has done mostly dressage previously and schools beautifully on the flat. He has a lovely jump, currently schooling and competing at 70/80 but needs a bit more educating to realise his full potential.

Conker has been out recently UA SJ, clinics and dressage and has been a superstar, the judges love him and he really knows when to turn on the charm. He's currently in regular work and ready for someone to pick him up and go and have some fun.

He is a dote on the ground, and a proper people person. Up to date with back, teeth, feet, vaccs, etc. Open to Vet. Turns out in a small mixed herd. Hacks alone and in company.

Conker is not a horse that needs riding every day but does thrive on regular work, and whilst Conker is 99% superstar, he is still a sport horse and can on occasion be sharp and for this reason would not be suited to a novice or nervous rider.
