I've owned Barney for 2 years, I brought him as an unbroken 4 year old.

In that time I have broken him in, and he's been to lots of arena hires and trainings.

He hunted last season four times and was foot perfect every time. Stood at the meet, would go in front or behind, great with the hounds, jumped timber and ditches. He was hunted by a man and a lady in a snaffle on all occasions. Everybody commented on how nice he was, Barney I think is a huntsmans horse in the making.

He is out competing showjumping at 90cm, has trained at home over 110cm, he jumps fillers and water trays.

He's been cross country schooling twice jumping up to 1metre.

He's been to dressage competitions at prelim level scoring 70%.

He's very good in traffic.

Good to handle, clip, load (lorry and trailer), catch etc.

He passed a vetting when I brought him and is open to a vetting and X-rays.

I'm very fond of this horse and only for sale due to personal circumstances, so that right home is very important to me.

His dams sire Great schufro has also produced many a licensed stallion and top performing progeny in dressage, his bloodline includes, Grey Flannel, Grabaldi (producer of totilas) and the infamous Don Schufro.

Charlies great dam is by Danny Kannan .Danny Kannans bloodlines are excellent, he is by Kannan who has been one of the top International Grand Prix jumping stallions. but his mother, Kormeline, then brings in an unbeatable combination of genes as she is by the great Burgraff.

Charlie has an interesting pedigree combining both Grand Prix dressage and Grand Prix jumping lines making him a great potential for any discipline in the future.

Charlie has inherited from his bloodline expressive powerful uphill gaits with a lovely soft elastic swing through the body .

He has an amazing temperament, has been well handled, good with farrier, loads well, loves attention, He has been allowed to grow and develope at his pace, he still has some growing to do and is expected to make 16.2 .

He will be a amazing partner for someone to work with and bring out his full potential.

Lovely forward going gelding who just wants to please ,has jumped everything he has been asked to do , water trays ,fillers ,rivers ,ditches , field banks etc this boy has never stopped or hesitated once

He has just competed July at bicton for five days and was foot perfect for his first time away travelled perfectly in lorry and settled quickly taking it all in his stride, 

He is improving every time he goes out to jump , been to local shows but he has not been cross country / eventing as of yet, he is bred for the job with his boldness this should not be a problem with his great attitude to work

Other points he’s lovely to handle on the ground and you can do everything with him he’s good to clip, groom ,bath ,good to shoe, tack up ,and handle daily, vaccinated up to date, correct conformation , clean limb , good doer . 

Bad parts he has been seen to weave recently on occasions this is more of a anxious thing from him which we have been noticing occasionally and it’s very intermittent in situations then it stops will provide more info with potential buyers

There is a small scar on the higher point of buttock which was a smalll lump due to being bitten from dam, it has not dissolved so was removed but can fully assure that it was not a sarcoid and the vet would verify this

He is not a novice ride so please do not waste his time or my time please as he’s more of a professionals horse or a very good confident rider with a good leg and light hands who has the experience of this type of horse as he’s too good of a horse to be spoiled

He hacks out alone and in company brilliant in traffic and is good with dogs and young children

Sad sale of a good friend due to change in personal circumstances and work commitments, no fault of his own.

Previously a Hunt Masters horse, hunting extensively and successfully in Ireland, which he loved. Since coming to live with us 2 1/2 years ago, he has been professionally reschooled with the help of our UKCC level 2 accredited Coach who has worked with us from the start. He would now be suitable for other disciplines as well as hunting or equally would suit someone just looking for the quiet life like us.

Max is eager to please his rider, forward going, listens well to aids as well as voice and is a quick learner. He can be tense/sensitive at times, however he doesn't do anything naughty. He's just a worrier and therefore needs an experienced and sympathetic rider.

He has beautiful paces, is a bold jumper and hacks out alone or in company. Very well behaved and not easily spooked by loud noises or unfamiliar objects ( only wary of HGVs on road).

Max is a gentleman on the ground, loved by all, good for farrier, vet, dentist etc, loads easily and travels well. He is not a big fan of the clippers but will stand, just needs lots of reassurance. Lives out or in but prefers out as much as possible. Occasionally harder to catch but easily persuaded with patience.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, dentist, farrier etc (currently without shoes but all 4 worn in the past).

Previously passed 5 * vetting on purchase Jan 2023, no health issues and open to all vetting.
Trial facilities include indoor/outdoor school with jumps. Other facilities can be arranged on request.

I have owned Lulu since a 3 yr old. She has exceptional breeding, being by Fidertanz and half sister of Ingrid Klimke's Franziskus.

Naturally talented and athletic, she finds lateral work and changes easy and responds to weight aids and seat aids. I give lessons on her and she is very forgiving whilst less experienced riders find their seat. Her walk is naturally a '9'. She enjoys and volunteers passage steps and piaffe.

She has been to numerous clinics with Jane Bartle, Paul Belasic, Debby Lush. She has been my Mary Wanless horse, having attended more that 10 of her clinics and has allowed me to progress my position, always giving clear feedback to the rider when you are in good form.

She was the star of a recent Warwick Schiller clinic being exceptionally well trained in ground work. She was the demo horse for Ritter dressage on line courses for several years, with her demonstrating various exercises including being the poster child for the flying changes course. She is ridden in a snaffle and also has no issue being ridden in a head collar in the school or out hacking.

She is a laid back character in the field, stable or box, with no fretting if left alone. Excellent feet, currently barefoot.

I have been unable to ride her for 18 months due to an injury and am unlikely to be able to ride her in the future. A friend has been keeping her ticking over so she is ready to go.
