Very sad sale of Blue our Dutch New Forest Pony. We bought him after he'd just been backed and ridden on and he has proved to be a super boy. Always handled by my then 12 year old son, he hacks out happily on his own or in company. We have taken him out and about to many events including hunter trials, PC rallies, SJ (jumped up to 90cm), hunting (he loves this), unaffiliated dressage and showing. My son hacks him out on the Moor on his own and Blue is very happy and safe to ride.

Blue always gets noticed with his two blue eyes and his stunning paces. My son trains with Pammy Hutton when she comes down to Cornwall, and she has told us that she believes that he has potential to be a FEI dressage pony, unfortunately my son only wants to jump, otherwise we'd be keeping him.

Blue would suit either a small adult (he does take up the leg) or a child, he is well schooled and works nicely into a contact. He is safe and sane to take to competitions and well behaved in the warm up arena. He could also make an extremely smart WH pony with excellent conformation and a lovely jump.

Blue was very carefully bred by the renowned Pronk Stud in Holland, his pedigree is littered with the very best of UK and Dutch New Forest breeding including his sire Sulaatik's Le Grand who himself is by the Elite stallion Little Boy du Vent and his dam, a ster + crown mare and preferent performance champion and national champion, and his granddam, the legendary mare Sulaatiks Yellie Marmelade, ster crown preferent elite, performance sport pony and performance breeding mare, and three-time National Champion mare, as well as the very best mare of 50 years at New Forest Pony Breeding. Blue's dam is Eikenhorst's Romy, who herself is ster pref, her sire is Wayland Cranberry who has won over 75 Championships and 25 Supreme Championships in the show ring.

Chief is a very smart homebred (TB x Welsh Sec C) who has been brought on slowly by my now-fourteen year old daughter for the past 2.5 years.

We have had a lot of fun with him but he is hopelessly outgrown and he is now looking for someone to continue his education particularly on the flat which is not our forte/interest.

Completed numerous rallies and Camps doing all the usual Pony Club activities including gymkhana, bare back jumping and general kid-desensitising! Won and been placed at 70-80cm huntertrials and showjumping. And ODE. Ready to progress up the heights (with a smaller - but still competent-jockey!) Hunted weekly last season where he proved fun but forward.

Good to catch, shoe, load and in traffic. Clipped once (for the first time) last winter, just needed a bit of dope for his head but I think he will get used to that fairly quickly.

Hacks alone or in company. Very happy to lead another horse or be led. Very good at gates (won his last huntertrial by 10 seconds with a gate in the timed section - see video!)

Ro is a striking young Connemara pony with the sweetest nature. He is a delight to handle – good to load, shoe, catch, bath, and happy living in or out. Currently turned out with another mare but will also come in and be stabled. Up to date with vaccinations and shod in front.

He has been lightly backed and is showing real promise. He has hacked alone and in company, worked in the school (walk, trot, canter), and popped a few small fences.

With his lovely temperament, floaty paces and scope, he has the potential to excel but he is still very much at the start of his education. For this reason, he is only available to an experienced home who can continue his training correctly at his own pace. With another horse to ride, 2 young children both also riding and competing I sadly just don’t have the time for him as well.

Ruby has been the most special pony for my daughter, now looking for her next little jockey to go and take on the world with.

This pony has done it all over the years and will turn her hoof to anything. A successful stint in BS to a brilliant season BE and PC80 eventing. Placed 4th individually at the recent area 11 grass roots regional champs with a double clear and placings BE. She tries her heart out for you every time.

Ruby just loves her job and is always eager to please, an incredibly genuine pony. Easy on the ground, good to shoe/ clip, catch, load etc, no vices. Prefers to be up front but will go anywhere in the ride and hacks alone. She is super easy around the yard.

We’ve had the best summer at various venues and my daughter qualifying for everything she aimed for, from NSEA Hickstead & Addington champs, regional PC grass roots eventing, National PC SJ 90cm plus BS nationals & cats & pipes, this pony just doesn’t disappoint.

This very smart boy has 3 good paces, and is working nicely on the flat in all 3 paces. He is consistently getting dressage scores in the 20s, winning his first ever one day event on a 28 dressage. He came 4th in the BE at Breckenbrough finishing on a 29 dressage, and 6th at Northallerton BE. He recently competed at Frickley in the BE80RQ where he had an unlucky pole, but jumped a super clear xc around a very technical course.

To jump, he is bold and honest, without being strong. He jumps anything you point him at, including ditches, water, fillers etc without any hesitation, he’s a real point and go type. He is fit and ready to compete at BE90, and we would expect him to move up to 100 with a little more mileage.

At home, he is a pleasure to have around. He is very easy to catch, box, shoe, clip etc. He hacks well alone and in company and isn’t phased by any traffic.

He would ideally be suited to an older teen or an adult, rather than a child, as he can occasionally show a cheeky side. He has been known to throw a buck, so wouldn’t suit a nervous or novice rider.

Woodys is an absolutely stunning boy he is a wonderful mover and loves a job. He has done everything from xc, showjumping, showing and dressage. But he excels it dressage and showing as he’s gorgeous looking and moves incredibly.

Woody is a forward pony this dose mean he needs a confident rider preferably a confident teen or small adult so please no (nervous Nellys).

He is only for sale as his rider is moved onto horses and found a love for showjumping so we do not want are wonderful Woody to not have a job.

He is now ready to start his new journey with his new rider, he can be funny to load in the trailer but will always go in he just needs time, he’s good having his feet done. He prefers to hack In company.

He will be sold with his whole wardrobe apart for his dressage saddle as it is custom to him and is kept like it’s still brand new but we can negotiate a price if you are interested in the dressage saddle also.
