Bought off a video 16/03/26 , advertised as approx 16.1hh but is more 15.3hh and as he was intended for a just over 6ft man he is not big enough, would make lovely ladies/ teenagers horse.

He is a very smart sports horse who moves well and loose jumps with scope and style. He is unbroken but is super to handle with a kind bold outlook, has potential to SJ, Event or do dressage.

We are very disappointed to be writing this ad for this lovely young horse but he just isn't big enough.

My name is Shannon and I have been riding Franco for the past few months. We started out in group lessons, where Franco was happy to go first or last and would stand patiently while waiting for the next exercise.

We took Franco to his first show in Ballinamona, starting at 50cm. He was excellent to load and travel, and he behaved impeccably in the warm-up. We continued attending the rest of the league, gradually moving up to 70cm, with Franco gaining confidence and improving with each round.

After a short break, we competed in the 80cm arena eventing at Hillcrest. Franco was incredibly brave and continued to grow in confidence around the course, even in very windy and spooky conditions.

A very sweet young mare with a nice start and the breeding and temperament to develop into a fab small allrounder, Oti is confident and kind. A compact type with a willing attitude, backed and straightforward to do, she’s not been rushed and has not been jumped, a genuine blank canvas ready for someone to produce and put their own stamp on her.

Owned since she was 1 (direct from her breeder at Tremayne Irish Draughts in Cornwall), she’s a fabulous and much-loved little mare and she wouldn’t be going anywhere if she’d grown a hand bigger – sadly she’s just not grown big enough for me.

She has recently been professionally backed proving very straightforward to do, and is currently riding away sensibly at her backing yard in Cornwall.

Oti is already a pleasure to have out and about:
- She’s done plenty of groundwork including lots of long lining. Easy on the ground, on the yard, in the stable.
- Professionally backed and riding away very sensibly for her age – she’s brave, willing, unspooky and not phased by things, should make a proper ‘have a go at anything’ sort.
- Hacking out and genuinely enjoys it – is the same whether she goes first or last and has been out alone around the farm with no problems.
- Confident being in the indoor school but still extremely green.
- Good in all traffic seen so far, including tractors.

She is:
- Level-headed, biddable, and should prove easy to produce.
- A friendly people person, generally wants to be with you and involved in whatever you’re doing.
- Good with other horses, easy with any routine or management.
- Great with the farrier, has always been barefoot and regularly trimmed, up to date with this.
- Great with the vet, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming. Wolf teeth removed a couple of years ago.
- Fine in her stable and with being left whilst others go out.
- Easy to catch: has always come to call, follows you around the field.
- Confident with new experiences & takes things in her stride.
- Kind with children, good with dogs (has been used to lots of dogs since I’ve had her).
- Not phased by machinery and tractors (we had lots of work done on the yard whilst she was a baby and she was super interested in watching it all).

She’s realistically priced due to her relative lack of experience to date:
- She’s backed & riding away very sensibly but hasn’t been out to shows / seen much of the world yet.
- I’ve never clipped her or bathed her, I don’t think she’d have a problem with either (she’s had the back of clippers all over her whilst on with no issues) but she’s never done it.
- She’s an inexperienced traveller because I’ve never had transport.
- She’s got a very tiny cold splint that has never caused any issues, from hooning around being a youngster on lots of land in the spring last year.

Kind, polite and gentle Sid is a smart little horse with nice paces, and a particularly floaty trot. He has been lunged and long lined, confidently leads in hand and from a horse over the forest and on roads. Happy in tack.

Loads and travels well, he has travelled regularly before me and done a few arena hire trips with me. I also took him to an in hand show and he behaved impeccably.

Stands beautifully at a mounting block. Happy to be leant over.

Lives out 24/7, he is a good doer. But also happy in a stable. Has been out with mares, geldings and alone. Is also sometimes left alone in the field (with horses next door) while others are ridden.

This is a horse that was bred locally and that no one has a bad word to say about. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances, happy to share, I am unable to continue with his education and don't want him to be wasted. He is looking for a wonderful, experienced new home. Ciaran aka Sruthan Ciaran is an Irish purebred Connemara with breeding recorded.
Approx 15hh, 4 yro (2022) and a beautiful dapple grey colour.

Arrived from Ireland in 2025, Ciaran was handled well and given the spring and summer to mature on grass with a small herd on our farm.

In the autumn he started his breaking to ride process and couldn’t have been more willing or straightforward.
Lunging well and long reining on the roads, woodlands and other terrain gaining lots of experience before being backed and ridden away.

After a successful breaking, Ciaran had the winter of 2025 off and was brought back into work in feb 2026, a quick lunge and hopped straight on for a hack - he really is an easy guy.

A 15hh Appaloosa x gelding! He is really one for the future with scope for days but equally 3 lovely balanced paces and a lovely light contact for dressage!

We have had him from a 1 yr old and he has been slowly produced. He was backed last year but he still had a lot of growing to do so he had a winter break and has come back so much stronger!

Axel also loves hacking, he is great in open spaces never gets silly but we have only hacked him in company due to his age. In the school has got 3 amazing paces and a real trainable attitude and loves to learn! He has free jumped 1.30 but we dont have wings to go higher so definitely also plenty of scope!

Therefore I feel he will excel in any discipline.No novices as he is still a young horse and we would like him to go to someone that could get the most out of him!

Reason for selling is I feel he is wasted with us a I sadly dont have the time to put in to him and my long legs continue to grow. Price will increase as his education continues.

She has done a range of unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions, has been to cross country and arena cross country however lacks confidence with cross country but does great with encouragement and exposure.

Has only been hacked over the past year due to having a baby. Slowing starting to come back into schooling.

He really is the most loveable boy to his person and would prefer a 1-1 home on a quiet yard as previously developed ulcers on a very busy competition yard. Ulcers were treated and have been clear since November.

Out of our first home bred mare who is now under saddle and proving very trainable. She is ~16hh (yet to reach her final height but she's nearly there) and can be seen with us. This dam line consistently offers superb temperaments and offspring who want to please both in training and socially! (we have several siblings of this dam, all with very similar characters).

Loads, leads, stables if required, is good for the farrier and vet (he didn't even flinch for the huge cannula needle for castration last autumn). In all honesty I think you could happily pop a saddle and bridle on him tomorrow and he wouldn't mind.
Loki is not spooky or reactive but I fully expect he will have the spark for competitive success and as such (and due to his age) he will only go to an experienced, competent and loving home.
