Paddy is a lovely type who is very easy to do and a pleasure to have around. He is handled daily by the children who help here and is happy to stand quietly to be groomed and fussed.

He loves hacking and is confident and enjoyable to ride out. Paddy is good in traffic and is happy hacking alone or in company. This is very much the job he enjoys most.

In addition to hacking, Paddy is well schooled on the flat, responsive to the leg and works in a consistent outline. He has competed in low-level dressage and has also hunted in a previous home and taken part in low-level shows.

Paddy will put in the occasional buck when going into canter, therefore he would be best suited to a confident, balanced rider. For this reason, he would not be suitable for a novice.

He is very easy to catch, shoe, clip and load. Up to date with all vaccinations.

Grey gelding, 16hh Irish sports horse, 17yrs old, experienced, clever, talented, amazing friend.

We’ve had Podge for 10 years and in that time he’s taken me through pony club, school team, BE up to novice. Been successful but most of all had fun and enjoyment as he is a solid horse. Loves his work, doesn’t get excited or agitated. Easy to load and travel. With an experienced rider he jumps everything and enjoys a day out. He is calm, gentle, trusting, trustworthy, competent, kind, talented. One in a million.

Likes sj, xc, dressage, flat work, training, hacking, fun rides etc. Good out on his own or with other horses. Used to living half out half in stable, happiest outside with other horses.

Good to shoe. Sensitivity to clipping so we have vet sedation for peace of mind. Well behaved but tenses up with vets.

Early in 2025 he sprained a suspensory ligament in the field. Followed the vet’s recovery program and completed rehab with a professional dressage rider schooling him to build the correct strength and balance. Vet has given him a clean bill of health and is now back jumping again.

We are looking for someone to give Podge a forever home, experienced with horses, a good level of riding experience, kind, loving and calm.

We are very sad to sell him but an architectural career means it’s not possible to give him the home he needs and deserves.

We are looking for £6k ono as there isn’t a horse like Podge and we know he is a very special boy. Whoever buys him will be very lucky and feel honoured to have him as their own.

Clarkstown Bomber a beautiful connie stamp, standing at 15.1hh out of an I love You melody mare by Contepomi Cashel.

Bought as a 3yo direct from breeder this lovely little horse has done a little of everything: Dressage, Jumping, XC he's been to clinics and camps and is a real pleasure to take anywhere. He rides big, I am 5'9 and have never felt big on him.

Travels well in trailers and lorries. Good to shoe, clip, catch and in traffic. Hacks out alone and in company, schools in open fields and never strong.

Hunted once - was polite and didn't mind the hounds.

Bomber is more of a follower than a leader, he is willing horse who takes confidence from his rider, he is quick to learn and strives with repetition. His first time XC schooling and took to it like a duck to water! Jumped all the logs/ditches/houses/steps. He walked straight into the water!
He rides beautifully on the flat in a consistent outline. To jump he has so much scope and is careful too. He’s ultra brave and loves to learn!

Although he’s still green he has a fantastic mentality and just wants to please, he loves working!

He’s blood to ride, in your hand and always taking you. We ride him in a snaffle and don’t struggle however please note that he is a forward/strong & still green competition horse so wouldn’t suit a novice.

He’s a pocket rocket and for sure will go on and win someone hundreds of rosettes.

Lance has so much potential, he’s been slowly and correctly produced with his future in mind.

He’s jumped two BS show on a ticket in the disco and was double clear both times before jumping at his first winter classic in December and stepping up to his first newcomers. Although he made green mistakes he improved with every round and really showed the incredible attitude he has to learning.

He’s not the spooky type but he has got something about him, brave as a lion at a fence. Really easy to handle and deal with, good to load and travel and super easy away from home. Good to clip & shoe.

He went to the most recent Arena UK winter classic and stepped up again to jump his first 6yo class for a rider error mistake, then jumped his first winter novice and qualifier for 2 green mistakes. The more ring mileage he gets the more he improves and with some more shows he will definitely catch up!
We’ve not hacked him as our roads are just too busy for the babies.

Noodles came to me having just been backed as a 5 year old. For the past 2+ years she has proved herself a sensible reliable hack. Not much fazes her, excellent in even the busiest traffic crossing motor way bridges, dealing with farm machinery taking it all in her stride. We regularly box out with friends and ride all over Essex. She has been taken on several holidays where she settles readily. She is happy in front and behind with 3 comfortable paces. She is generally forward going but can be stubborn if she sees something she doesn’t like. Never spins or rears and will take a lead whether its another horse or me on the ground.

Noodles is incredibly nosey and spends much of her time taking in her surroundings. The past 12 months we have attended monthly pole clinics which she has taken to very happily, using both indoor and outdoor schools.
Noodles loves to stand and be groomed and is good with the farrier. She has always been barefoot and copes well with most terrain. She lives out 24/7 with a light rug, never been clipped. She loads like a dream and travels well.

Noodles is a mare and can be feisty, she can get excited in a big group so I tend to ride in pairs or on my own. She will occasionally put a buck in when cantering behind.

Due to her age and inexperience she needs a confident rider who is prepared to work with her and continue her education. She has so much potential and will try her best when asked. A long term experienced home is sought for this genuine horse. Worming, vaccs and teeth all up to date.

Super classy and eye catching genuine allrounder. Has turned his hooves to anything asked of him. He’s a keen jumper, has had some great success at Working Hunter and has spent last year training over all the BE XC tracks in Scotland 80/90. Produces a lovely dressage test (though not current riders strength) and hacks quietly for miles in company or alone.

He’s a pleasure to have around, easy to do in all ways. Up to date with vacs, teeth, farrier, worming etc. He’s fully clipped and ready to go.

He is a keen and forward ride and will bring his next rider brilliant fun, he loves his work and always wants to please. He’s always in a snaffle even on XC and has a lovely soft mouth. He’s brave and has a great attitude to work, totally unfazed by fillers, ditches, water, skinnies etc.

He has been to numerous camps, stay away shows and attends clinics, shows and pony club most weekends. He’s a perfect adult ride for someone wanting to have some fun or an ideal step up from ponies (he’s ridden by 15yo at the mo).

Travels well in lorry and trailer, we’re out in the dark evenings as well as in the daylight. Can occasionally need a nudge to load but we just use lickit and control halter and never had any issues. He has a superficial scar on shoulder from a field injury as a baby but passed 5-stage vetting and never sick or sorry.

01\2022 15.2hh Ex Racehorse mare (raced flat three times, too slow, retired sound), bought straight of trainer in April 2025, stayed in field until October 2025, then very gently started re-training process.

Lightly ridden now 2-3 times a week, still at the very beginning of her training.
She is very willing and sweet, but still unbalanced and green of course.

Hacks out alone (still can be calling home and sometimes needs encouragement when alone) and in company, haven’t tried her in traffic, but she’s used to cars/quad bikes, bikes, bicycles and machinery and couldn’t care less.

She long-reins and lunges.

Extremely quiet and exceptionally sweet natured - loves cuddles, grooms and people (she will need some time to fully trust - as most mares do).

She gets handled by my young daughters.
Great with farrier, (shod cold still), dentist and vet.
Haven’t clipped her, so don’t know what she is like, but would assume she would be ok if introduced properly.
Only loaded her once when picked up from trainer, which she did willingly and traveled quietly.
Lives out 24/7, not rugged, but obviously used to being stabled in former career.

Due to change of circumstances up for sale or LWVTB - only to the right home with experience with re-training ex racers.

I have been riding for most of my life, I’ve ridden many different horses from 13 hh first ponies to 16.2 hh Irish sport horses and 15.3 quirky Connies. I can walk trot and canter confidently. Stunning little horse with a lot to offer the right person. He’s a real old fashioned, sturdy ‘small hunter type’ with plenty of bone but a quality little chap.

Rupert has come over from Ireland having mainly hacked/hunted/fun rides/xc schooled.

Since being with us we’ve been working on his schooling and he’s picking this up quickly and trying very hard, he’s a little green for his age but a game little horse that tries to please. He’s light off the leg with a soft mouth (not to be read as sharp as he isn’t, just wouldn’t suit someone that likes to kick kick kick). 

Been to arena hires and is popping a little course of fences with fillers and not looking at a single thing, he has a super jump and is really bold and brave. Xc schooled with us and is definitely one that puts a smile on your face, you feel like you could face him at anything and he’d give it a go!

Hacks alone and in company and good in open spaces.

Fun forward thinking type that wants an equally fun rider to go have a blast.

Doesn’t need riding every day but I do think he’d be one that would prefer a varied lifestyle.

Rupert’s only niggle is he can be a bit of a wimp on the ground (can just think humans are a bit scary!). He’s incredibly well mannered and easy to do, just a bit wary and wants a nice kind handler that isn’t going to be bullish with him or give him a hard time! More than happy to explain more about this to genuine enquiries, he really is not difficult for a competent handler. 

Absolutely not going to kick/bite/be nasty, quite the opposite. He’s a super kind little soul and I would love to see someone go and enjoy him as much as I have. If I didn’t have so many I would keep him for myself as he just gives such a fun feel but safe and sensible at the same time.

Good to groom, bath, load, travel, shoe. Passed 5 stage vetting before import.

Home very important for this chap, he won’t be one that appreciates a million and one different people coming to try so am open to negotiate for someone that is willing to take the time to get to know him.
