Willy is an exceptional stamp of a heavy cob with fantastic foundations laid for exciting future ahead of him ! He has hunted, xc schooled , fun rides , boxed away to arena hires and woods for fun hacking been shown and placed at county level with fantastic comments from judges referencing great potential to be successful as a maxi cob !
Confirmation is correct he has no lumps bumps , no splints or scars, shod in front and trimmed behind (excellent to shoe )
Never had a sick day or lame day , up to date with his vaccinations, regularly had physio, saddle fittings ect and has a fitted Kent and masters saddle for sale at separate negotiations!
To ride Willy is a super responsive and forward enjoyable ride , with no ridden vices, he has never reared, spun , napped or bucked. Willy is a sensitive forward turbo cob so no novices please! He is brave hacking solo and in company, and sensible in open fields where he is regularly ridden next to the M4 motorway. He loves jumping and has a great brain.
Willy currently lives out 24/7, he wintered in without turning into a dragon ! He’s an excellent doer and lives off fresh air . Fantastic to clip, trim, brush ect
William is looking for a confident rider to have lots of fun on him and produces him up the levels in the showing world or eventing and showjumping ! For dressage he has a beautiful natural carriage, and shows promise in his movement to be a cob that can and will excel in what ever discipline he goes in !!
On the ground William is perfect to deal with , great to catch , super to load and travel , great at shows and new venues , had his teeth done and wormed recently and correctly .
He hacks alone in the heaviest of traffic and in company Currently in a happy mouth snaffle, he is ridden currently by a range of riders from experienced and confident to not experienced and also a lady who is extremely nervous! He is a total legend in every sense but as a young horse needs a confident quiet rider to further his education. All homes will be vetted including riding abilities! This horse is too talented and kind to go to just any one !
He is priced accordingly to his talents and stamp and excellent temperament! He’s is a delight to have on the yard and a firm favourite here. He was imported from Ireland as a
4 year old and been riding away with us for 8 months !
