Finn has a wonderful temperament and an old head on young shoulders. If there was a rule book on how to be the perfect 4yr old, Finn has read it! He is old beyond his years, he has a fantastic trainable brain and is such a clever brave boy. He is a very kind, easy horse and a real people pleaser.
He has three beautiful, balanced floaty paces and would excel in dressage or showing. He is exceptionally brave jumping whether it be show jumping or cross country and he has never questioned a single thing we have asked of him.
He jumps fillers, water, ditches, tyres etc.
He hacks alone or in company, in open spaces and down country lanes and he is use to all of our farm machinery and all of our dogs running around him.
He has hunted a handful of times at the end of the hunting season with previous owner.
We have found him to be snaffle mouth for absolutely everything and just a cavesson noseband.
He rides in a beautiful contact and is light in the hands. He is a nicely forward going ride, easy and responsive off the leg.
He is the type that doesn’t have to be ridden every day and if he has a week off he is the same as the last time he was ridden.
He happily turns out alone or in company.
I cannot stress enough how special this young horse is. He is such a versatile boy and will excel in many different disciplines. Whether you’re looking for your next grassroots prospect to go eventing, or perhaps a really fun/competitive allrounder show jumping and dressage but equally he wouldn’t look out of place in the show ring which we feel he would excel at.
