OMERKA (Birdy)

2019 15.3hh bay mare (6yo)
By It’s Highlander VDK (Kannan x Chin Chin) x Quasimodo (Heartbreaker x Nabab De Reve)

Recently stepped up the 110 and got her Newcomers second rounds qualification and National 105 championship qualification. Picked up a double win in the 105&110 end of April.

She’s a super sort, an absolute weapon over a fence. Leave her to it and she jumps her best, nippy on the turns and careful. Omerka has three rhythmical paces and the sweetest nature.

She is the easiest horse to have! You can take her to shows completely on your own or with a lorry load. She loads first time, every time in a trailer or a lorry. She will stand to be groomed, tacked up, un tacked, washed off etc.

At home Omerka leads the young horses out hacking, hacks alone and in company first or last, rides and leads, good in traffic. She’s happy to live in or out, likes her stable as much as the field and can go out with any horse. Eats pretty much anything!

Omerka is 100% to catch, load, travel, stand for the farrier, for the dentist etc. She has no vices. Not mareish.

A real class horse who is sure to be a super star in this years or next years age classes. Has been backed and produced by a lightweight lady.

We bought her to event up the levels but we feel show jumping is her forte.

She will continue to be competed until she finds her perfect home. No novices please as we think she’s rather special and deserves to go to a competitive home, knowledgeable home.

Plenty of videos on my instagram (henri_ewell) in her highlight “Birdy” - literally everything she’s ever done, from being backed & doing all her “firsts”!

Based between Taunton and Ilminster.

Numerous clears and wins at 1.40, with a 2nd place in the GP at Addington in only his second time against the clock. He is confident and straightforward to jump, and has been competed in COH classes successfully also.

He has evented up to advanced, with numerous double clears and wins at Intermediate and 3*. He would without doubt return to eventing and reach the top level. He began jumping as I could not afford to run him at the top level of eventing.

A horse that is straightforward, confidence giving, and will reach the top in either spheres

16.2 6 year old wow horse. Tommy is the most wonderful beautiful eye catching 16.2 who I’ve had since a late 4 year old. He is my only horse as I am very much an amateur and he is just wonderful to ride he is extremely balanced has 3 unbelievable paces and an exceptional jumper. I’m not sure if I should be selling him but feel like he has so much potential and he is wasted with me as I’m away for most of the summer and having two small children time is very difficult.

He doesn’t rear buck or bolt or nap. You can literally jump on him even if he’s not been ridden he is so easy snaffle mouthed in everything not strong or silly in the slightest. I mostly take him to shows on my own he has 4 double clears British novice and discovery and is eligible for this year’s second rounds and has 2 newcomer double clears. Goes on missers if needed.

UNBELIEVABLE HUNTER - took him last year a few times stands at the meet like Larry the lamb and bold as brass over all hedges and ditches will go in the pack or lead. He’s still got loads to learn and progress. He has done some low level eventing where he has won 2 90s. I did take him to osberton for his first 100 and got eliminated at the water on the xc but completely my fault he was just green and slipped passed the skinny and I couldn’t get straight back to it also this was with no xc schooling prep so a bit unfair of me! But honestly I promise this is not a reflection of the horse, he leads the dressage every time and show jumps amazing and is super xc just needs some more runs. He lives in or out, currently out with the nice weather.

Easy to tack up, shoe, load (we only have a trailer) but I’m assuming he would be ok with a lorry!

Stands on his own if I take my dad’s horse off and doesn’t shout. Never ever nappy or clingy. He is 10000% sound in fact I probably reckon he would go shoeless he’s that sound. Never sick or sorry. Passed a 5 stage vetting with full x rays when I bought him. He’s by Sligo candy boy. He always turns heads at shows people love him. I would love him to go to an ambitious home whether that be an amateur, professional or young up and coming rider. I’m only 5 ft 2 so will be ridden by all ranges, my dad rides him round the fields for me when I’m away and he’s good as gold and he has also borrowed him to hunt and loves him. He doesn’t like tractors but doesn’t do anything nasty - doesn’t rear buck or bolt just shys away. He’s really kind. I can’t say enough about him really. It’s a real heartbreaking decision but I would love to see him go on to be a superstar. I don’t have loads of videos as I mostly am alone! But I will send what I can on request.

Great looking horse with lots of ability given time to mature. Jumping BS Newcomer/1.10 and ready to start Foxhunter/1.20 loads more scope and ability. All double clears and qualified Discovery 2025 and Newcomers 2025 second rounds.

Lovely moving in all paces well schooled willing and forward thinking. Not strong, goes well in snaffle bridle.

Has had a school round cross country showing a great jump and attitude with plenty of blood.

Enjoys hacking out and schooling.

Would also make super working hunter.

His sire Luidam was a top Nations Cup & Grand Prix Showjumper. His Dam jumped 1.35m BS and also won many working hunters.

Brought up on a working arable farm.

Ready to go on.

Lots of potential and possibilities a really genuine horse.

Based close to Edinburgh airport.

Rupert B II By NPS Supernova out of Holly B (Darco)

Super straight and genuine type. Will be a proper asset to anyone’s yard. Suit active eventing or amateur showjumping home. Jumped round some BN/Disco classes and training shows. He’s qualified for Disco 2nd rounds 2025. Brave with fillers, water trays etc. He will be a super bronze league horse with some miles.

Can be a bit green at new venues but nothing that a firm squeeze doesn’t fix.

Never says no and is an very enjoyable ride. Auto changes, soft mouth and 3 lovely paces.

Rupert hacks alone or in company. Good with traffic and fine in open spaces. Currently based on a busy livery with farm machinery, kids, dogs, cats etc with no issues.

Lives in or out. No stable vices. Easy to handle in every way. Shod in front. Up to date with vacs, wormer, farrier, physio etc.

Rupert recently went to his first stay away and behaved impeccably all weekend.

Based Northampton. Homebred on behalf of his owner so full history known.

Ultimate fun competitive top class jumper

16.1hh 6year old mare by Exquis Powerfree X Juliter Du Thot.

Cooch has lightly competed over the last year upto 1.30 level and has just returned from her first international show where she was well placed in the 6year old classes finishing 2nd in the 6year old GP.

She’s a fun forward thinking blood mare that loves her work and wants to win classes. She’s brave to a fence, isn’t at all spooky and is super careful with plenty of scope/ ability.

She’s low on points so would be ideal for someone wanting to jump newcomers and be super competitive whilst gaining her double clears for next years second rounds where she’d be a very exciting contender.

She’s a lovely person to have around, is good to hack and is completely clean, correct and vice free.

The perfect fun competitive top class amatuers jumper!

Great value for a horse of her calibre.

Classy 16hh, 10yo, AES mare - ‘Ravens Sagacious Glory’
Clean five stage vetting from this year
No lumps or bumps / injuries / ailments / nor vices

Kind and empathetic little mare on the ground. Outstanding mannerisms. Never any bother to clip, shoe, load , travel, catch, handle etc - she is absolutely golden. Handled and ridden daily by a 13 year old

Turns out alone or in a mixed herd and is never any bother. Comes to call and is easy to have on any yard. Always settled beautifully at stay away shows

Loves to go on beach and fun rides

Hunted on an extremely busy ladies day with The Shropshire - over 85 mounted , her first time on the field and she was outstanding. Jumped absolutely everything , stood patiently, unpaused by the hounds , never once strong , went on all day like an absolute diamond and gave me the best days hunting I’ve ever had in my life

Sage is absolutely stunning on the flat. A breath taking mover who moved for fun! Could do with some tweaking here and there but dressage isn’t my thing so consequently, I’ve never made it hers! Has a big trot paired with a a smaller , adjustable , uphill canter. Has done unaffiliated stressage on the odd occasion I’ve been blackmailed to take part and always come away with a thrilly. Auto changes installed. Forward mare who likes a still rider but equally likes to be ridden and feel your leg , she’s not for a percher, she likes a rider. Very obedient up and down the transitions

Jumping - well where do I start? My word this mare can jump!! She has a huge very scopey jump and is absolutely bold as brass. Picked up numerous placings at cricklands in big and quick classes , I’ve never not had a place on her at unaffiliated up to 90cm. Is now ready to go BS. Jumps open water trays , pops bigger fences at home. A touch low mileage for her age only due to previous owner circumstances. This mare would skip around a 70cm or go a jump a fox with the right jockey. Very easy to ride around a set of fences and although very careful, is very forgiving. Happy to jump around steady or you can put your foot in the gas if you’re as competitive as me who can’t possibly just go for the steady clear!

Jumps XC with scope to burn. She loves that job! Bold over hedges , drops , all rustics etc. never strong not silly and has plenty jump. She’d be competitive out eventing should new owner desire , big solid fences aren’t really for me!

To hack out - well I’ve never had a mare like this in my life to hack out!! So so reliable and bold in all types of traffic and open spaces. She goes alone or in company. The kids ride her to give me a lead on the breakers. She’s ridden daily along a 60mph road and she doesn’t flinch. Stands at the mountain block etc

Too many show venues , funrides, etc to name
All riding club activities at Torfaen Riding Club

Most recent venues are The David Broome Event Centre and Ponderosa Equestrian Centre

All history is known
Had a foal which a friend of mine still has. Was an excellent mum and textbook to get in foal producing a huge filly with the same desirable temperament

This mare is my own personal horse. I first had her on loan when I was 18 years old (6years ago). I now own her myself which was all I ever dreamed of. However she’s always been too small for me , I have my own yard with lots of paying clients and opportunities as well as another of my own out on the circuit taking so much time. Therefore after much thought I have decided I need to let her go. However I’m in no rush and all homes will be vetted. Open to re vet and x-rays

She’s a mare that needs to be in work , she can be sensitive and although is good as gold she would absolutely hate someone banging around up there! Shes a mare that deserves a nice rider on top.

Until she sells I will start to BS her and will look to show her in some county shows this summer as a worker / riding horse

Coral is a lovely sweet natured horse that is looking for someone to have alot of fun with.

She is currently showjumping, jumping consistently at newcomers level and last weekend finished 6th in the winter 6yr class (120m jump off).

We have taken her xc schooling and she was very genuine and honest.

She would also do a lovely dressage test.

A real lovely girls horse.

Not suitable for real amature. She is a careful jumper.

Very genuine horse but can be nervous (not spooky)/ sharp to ride, needs a confident, kind and quiet rider to get the best out of him. Never bucks or rears!
Extremely kind and polite on the ground, easy to clip, shoe, box etc and up to date with teeth, vacc etc.
Same home for 5 years, genuine sale of very well loved horse so all potential homes will be vetted.
Based near Gatwick, excellent trial facilities.

16.1hh approx rising 5yo mare . When you look at her quality and breeding  it’s easy to see why she’s recently weaned a foal and is now ready to produce ..

Her sire El Barone is one of Europe's most sought after stallions who, during 2020 as an eight year old achieved outstanding results with International wins up-to CSI2* 1,45 m level.

In 2019 due to the high demand as a breeding stallion he was sparsely competed. Despite this he was placed second in the Pavo Cup for 7 years and started CSI2* 140, demonstrating this promising stallions development. In 2020 the convincing record continued with solid results and wins up to CSI3* 140.

El Barone has a huge jumping capacity, balance and spectacular technique. His cool attitude, strong gallop and riding ability, combined with his desire to win, gives him the best qualities to succeed in the sport, following in the footsteps of his famous sire.

Malin Baryard-Johnsson became El Barone`s new rider in 2021. An exciting new partnership which is already delivering promising results in the International circuit with placements in CSI2* 140 and CSIO*3 145 ranking classes. In June, in St Gallen, the top combination started their first 5* 160 GP.

His father Emerald van't Ruytershof is an exceptional stallion. He has competed internationally at Grand Prix with an Olympic Games under his belt! In 2016, he also became the winner of the nations cup in Rotterdam and placed 2nd in the World Cup Final. Emerald's grandsire Le Tot de Semilly is one of the most recognised sires in the world as well as being an international jumper and was successful at CSIO and CSIW shows.

This mares dam jumped herself to 130cm level , is ster graded and has 4 siblings at 120-140 level .

This mares a super mover and has a great jump to match .

She will have a very big future!

Update 1st April : riding one week..

Lady Littleton (or Lucy Lou stable name) is 16.2 Chestnut Irish Sports Horse Mare, 8Yrs.

Sire – O.B.O.S Quality 004 - Dam – Kyleen Bay Ricardo

Lucy Lou absolutely loves to jump and is bold and brave doing so and loves to be in work. She is calm, levelheaded, brave and loyal, looking after her rider at all times.
She has brought her rider on from ponies to horses and has/is competing unaffiliated 90/1m with ease, always placing. Attending clinics, shows, PC and being part of a showjumping academy, she has proven herself to be 100% focused in any discipline asked of her, moving beautifully on the flat with lovely paces despite her main love for jumping.

Ridden in a snaffle, she will happily hack alone or in company. She’s good in open spaces and country lanes with heavy tractor machinery or busy traffic on a main road.

Lucy would suit a competent rider (not novice), wishing to progress and compete in SJ, RC, or a mother/daughter share.
She has NO vices at all – A dream to load, shoe, clip, travel and settle in new surroundings when overnight stabling has been required for competitions.

Lucy defies any stereotype of ‘chestnut mare’. She is a sweetheart to handle in the stable (a yard favourite!) and to call in from the field – always a plus!

The sale of this kind, genuine mare is solely due to her losing her jockey due to personal restraints. She comes with tack, rugs and whole lot of fun. Loads of video available upon request and vetting’s welcome.

Dreamwave JPL, a beautiful bright bay ISH gelding by top 1.60 jumper Tyson (Numero Uno x Voltaire) out of a dam who herself jumped up to 1.55 by Couleur Rubin (Cordalme Z x Ramiro Z).

Dream is what his name says, a dream! He is the sweetest most lovely boy on the ground, always happy to see you and good to go in all ways- clip, shoe, turnout, catch, load and travel, tack up at shows etc he’s been to two stay aways and behaved impeccably.

Dream has got a successful record up to newcomers with masses of scope for more. He has his 4 DCs for British novice and Discovery second rounds 2025, and has jumped 6 DCs on the trot showing his consistency and carefulness. He has the ability, scope and temperament to follow his dam and sires success as a pure showjumper with a capable amateur or enough talent for a professional to produce further through the levels.

Dream has been XC schooling where he proved bold and really enjoyed himself. He jumped all that was asked including ditches, banks, steps and water.
On the flat he works nicely with a comfy rhythmical canter, he is still weak and needs to grow into his frame which will improve his paces further. He’s very laid back and doesn’t need riding everyday.
Dream has done some light hacking alone and in company, is good in traffic and open spaces. He can be a little looky alone, he needs some gentle encouragement to gain confidence. He is ridden in a snaffle and is never strong.

We cannot sing this young horse’s praises enough, he’s very talented and will go far in the right hands as a showjumper but equally would enjoy a varied lifestyle doing a bit of everything or eventing. Dream is a young horse with a ping over a fence so does need a rider who is balanced in their seat.

Dream has clean X rays and is open to any vet check. Sadly for sale as owner is overstocked with older horses and lacking time to continue producing him. Seen on sales livery in lingfield Surrey.

Happy Hacker and low level Schoolmaster - SOLD TO A LOVELY HOME

  • Easy and uncomplicated horse
  • Ideal mother/daughter/son share
Crafty Web (Winston) has been a successful novice event horse and showjumper. He is TB x WB with his grandfather being Louella Inschalla. He is now 18 and therefore I feel that he is looking for a lovely hacking home / lower level riding club type home, jumping up to around 80cm.

PLEASE READ THE ADVERT IN FULL before making contact. Located Trowbridge in Wiltshire, BA14. Sorry, no loans, LWVTB, offers on price or payment plans. This is a lovely horse for the money and the right home is more important than price which is why he is sensibly priced.

A proper school master who knows his job. He is an easy uncomplicated ride and is ready to come down the levels to teach someone the ropes at the lower heights and for someone who enjoys their hacking. He was evented by a professional event rider and therefore he is well schooled on the flat and can do shoulder in, leg yield, direct transitions etc and has balanced paces.

In his previous home he successfully did Tetrathlon with two teenage boys. He would make a great mother/daughter/son share and is ideal for someone looking for an older schoolmaster on a budget.

He is easy to take to shows and on the ground and does not need riding every day. You could leave him 6 months and jump straight back on and go for a hack.

I bought him nearly 2 years ago to get me back jumping after a few years off and he has done the job. I have done riding club, group clinics and lessons and some competitions at 80/90cm. He keeps a nice rhythm to a fence without being strong. I have also cross country schooled him.

I have recently had his hocks medicated for the first time to get him ready for sale after I turned him away from January to March due to lack of time. I just felt that his hocks were a little stiff on coming back into work but I have not had them X-rayed and therefore I feel he is more suited to jumping up to 80cm.

He hacks alone or in company and I lead other horses and ponies from him. He is great with buses and trucks coming past him but can spook at a crisp packet or a road sign, particulary on his own. This involves him going past with his eyes on stalks but I simply turn his head away from the object while he walks past.

He also crib bites and wears a collar although he keeps his weight on well. He is best suited to a home where he can live out most of the time. He can nip a little when doing rugs and tack but generally is a very sweet boy in the stable and loves fuss, attention and affection.

He turns out with mares and geldings in a herd or is happy out with one other. He is happy to be left on his own when my others go out hacking without him and does not stress in his stable being left alone but happily eats his hay.

He is only for sale as I have three others and I am struggling for time and therefore he does need a bit more fittening work as he is only in light work at the moment. That said, he would be ready to go out for some nice hacks and low level competing and he does not take long to get fit.

He is easy to clip, shoe and I travel and load him in an Equitrek trailer with no issues. He previously travelled and loaded well in a horsebox. He is not suitable for hunting.

Good trial facilities with school and showjumps and you are welcome to hack alone and in company.

No novices please. Although he is good he is still a competition type horse and I would prefer a balanced rider who is light in their hands.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, back and shoes. Tack available separately at an additional cost.

The vidoes are of me jumping small fences due to my nerves having not jumped for several years. They show that he is easy at the lower levels.

Gorgeous rising 7yo that has been produced slowly.

She is currently eventing competitively at 90/1m with ease and jumping BS Discovery.

Has serious ability to go up the levels but equally would be a huge contender for Grassroots championships this year.

Produces a lovely test (always in the 20’s) and loves her jumping but always snaffle mouth. Passenger ride to a fence and always looking for the flags, takes a miss and is very bold/amateur friendly.
Most recent event this year, 29 double clear.

Hunts nicely and incredibly easy to have at home, happy in or out. Lovely to hack and incredibly good with big traffic. A really kind attitude, used to dogs, children and small ponies also.
Would happily lead the ponies out one day and be competitive the next.

A real joy to own. Would suit a competitive amateur / family type but also would excel hugely with a professional.

Exceptional Dressage / Allrounder

Bria - 16.1hh 13yo KWPN by Vivaldi x Gribaldi

Absolutely exquisite, quality mare sired by the legendary Vivaldi, one of the world’s top 10 dressage stallions. Her grandsire, Gribaldi, has also achieved champion status at stallion selections. This exceptional mare, embodies the highest level of pure dressage DNA running through her.

Head turning, uphill paces. Correct movement that floats across the floor, rides beautifully and will be a real winner BD, climbing the ranks quickly and has a super chance to compete at championship level.

Although her main forte has been dressage focused, Bria has a great brain and is suitable for all riding club activities with a competent rider.
She has a very willing attitude towards jumping and has a good natural technique over a fence and learns quickly, would be able to produce further for some SJ or Eventing competition in the future.

A very loving, kind, sweet friendly mare who’s a pleasure to look after.

Bria hacks out well and has seen various types of traffic.

Low mileage for her age, but has super potential to reign at riding club level or reach a decent level BD.

Because of her exceptional bloodlines she has also previously bred 4 superb foals and is an excellent mother.

Clean, correct and vice free
