Dave will be 2 in July we bred him ourself, mum is 14hh Welsh mare and is dad is a graded coloured stallion standing at 16hh he jumped up to newcomer height.

His dad has a lovely temperament we had 2 other foals by him born last year both good temperaments.

He is very friendly not colty at all, at the moment he is quite layed back good to lead around loads in lorry and travels .

This stunning colt has a pedigree of champions. He is by the great Negro, sire of the legendary Valegro ridden by Charlotte Dujardin and probably the most successful dressage horse to have ever lived. Negro was known as a "living legend" until his death last year in February 2025. Valegro his most famous son and half brother to this colt rewrote the sport’s record books securing Olympic, World, and European titles. Valegro’s dominance at the highest level firmly established Negro’s legacy as a sire of champions. Negro-offspring are (inter)nationally very sought after, valued for their cooperative character, willingness to learn, desire to work, balance and of course Negro’s top trademark: the superb hind leg action, natural talent for piaffe and passage and the great ability to switch and collect. This colts dam is a young mare retained for breeding due to her exceptional type, movement and temperament.

Her sire was by the legendary Rubinstein, a breed line also highly sought after around the world for trainability and movement, siring numerous international Grand Prix dressage horses. Quality 3 year old homebred gelding by the top 1.60m jumping stallion and upcoming sire Dourkhan Hero Z. Out of a Je t’aime Flamenco x Clover Hill x Aristocracy (tb) dam who herself jumped at 1.30m as a 6yo, before retiring sound to breed. She’s a sister to Charlton Clio 1.50m and Admiran Oh me 1.35m. The line has also produced Mulvin Cliodam 1.40m and Admiran Athena 1.35m.

He’s currently standing just over 16hh and should finish a full up 16.1hh.

He is a blood model at just over 50% tb blood, with a big walk, a floating trot and a good balanced canter. He shows great scope, carefulness and quickness off the floor with a good technique both in front and behind. He is brave as a lion, has a huge engine and you only have to teach him something once!

He has been carefully broken and is now riding away quietly. This horse has all the talent and attributes to be a top jumper or event horse in the right hands.

Leprince's sire Yarlands Summer Song competed himself to 4* level eventing and has produced an amazing number of eventers which hace reached high levels of eventing including 5*, 4* and 3 as well as showjumpers. Madame Butterfly's sire Sir Shutterfly was a modern, elegant and exceptionally light-footed Hanoverian stallion who had a premium pedigree. Sir Shutterfly was the full brother to Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum’s brilliant show jumper Shutterfly.

BSH REAL DEAL

Moana, as she is known at home, is a rising two-year-old filly by For Real out of a Kennedy x Bustron mare.

For Real won the Westphalian Championships in Münster-Handorf and was also unbeatable at the German Championships in Warendorf, achieving the same dream scores. Ridden by his trainer, Leonie Richter, he was awarded the maximum score of 10 for his outstanding willingness to perform. He received 9.5 for his immaculate conformation, 9.0 for the energy and elasticity in trot and canter, and 9.5 for his perfect rhythm in walk. With an overall score of 9.2, For Real was clearly ahead of the competition, which continued at his stallion performance test in Denmark.

Moana herself is a loving and sweet mare who’s easy to handle both in and out of the stable, currently enjoying her summer months out in the herd. She is very well put together with a well-set neck of good length; she has strong limbs and good feet.

Her paces speak for themselves — her walk is active with a good rhythm and overtrack; she has great swing in the trot with lovely cadence, and her canter is powerful and uphill with good ground cover.
