Orry is a 16.3hh 15yo gelding by the prestigious stallion Primitive Proposal. He has the perfect mix of thoroughbred and warmblood breeding making him a serious athlete with both brain and lovely temperament.

Orry has had a quiet but varied life taking part and excelling in all disciplines. He has done riding club activities, fun rides, hunting etc but really comes into his own out competing. He has expressive paces and an aptitude for work making him a pleasure to school. He is brave, careful and super scope over a fence, holds a rhythm beautifully and always takes you in. He has no BE points so would be a great prospect for badminton grassroots but equally has the scope and ability to go up the grades.

Orry has so much to give and is a real fun loving enthusiastic chap. Hacks alone or in company, will ride and lead and is a pleasure to do on the yard. Would suit a keen amateur/teen who wants to go out and have fun and bring home prizes. No novices.

I can’t say enough good things about this boy, he is just the easiest young horse, safe as houses but still super talented.

Bold and careful to a fence, got an amazing brain and always goes no matter what stride/filler/tray, never takes offence to a miss and loves his job. Jumped multiple discovery double clears including a win and placings, first newcomers jumped for4fts, although still green in ring the type you can always count on to try, been ridden by amateur riders. Never holds a grudge and was super balanced on grass even with no studs/hind shoes. Keen and bold to a fence but never strong.

Xc schooled and done an unaffiliated 90 event jumping all fences boldly including skinnies and combinations, needed a minute with the water but went in with a pat, couple xc schools and he’ll canter through first time no doubt as he has the best brain and travels well across the country a true eventer for next season, this hasn’t been our focus however.

On the flat Eddie has 3 balanced rhythmical paces and works in a nice outline. He has basic lateral work started but the canter is still weak in places and lacks adjustability but improving each day. He’s been ridden by complete novice having her first sit on a horse! That’s how safe he is.

Hacking Eddie is as bombproof as they come, can go cantering in open spaces with no hands and 100% in the heaviest of traffic (crosses the A217 without a care) not silly or phased by other horses messing around.

Easy to do in all ways including clipping shoeing loading etc and a horse that loves attention and cuddles.

With a winter of work he’s going to be a superstar either showjumping or eventing or just someone’s best friend.

Roxy is a sweet mare with a lovely temperament & is a smart girl to look at.

She’s been in the same home for 3 years where she has been a low level allrounder, enjoying unaffiliated show jumping, lessons, clinics & camps (including Somerford camp this summer / autumn)

She has 3 good paces, occasionally rushes a little in the canter and when jumping but she wants to learn and is easily corrected. We have been working with her for a few weeks now and are really pleased with her progress

Good to hack on / off road. A little spooky on her own but hasn’t done anything silly.

Lovely to handle and never been mareish with us.

Opposition Hermes (Ben) is a striking 16.3hh, 6-year-old British Sport Horse gelding who combines quality, presence and an excellent attitude to work. Originally from a professional competition yard, he has been carefully produced in a family setting by a combination of professional, adult and young riders.

Working correctly on the flat and consistently placed at prelim, he is now ready to progress to novice. He is a careful, scopey jumper who has been produced steadily and is ready to step up in height and technicality. He is bold and genuine cross country, confidently schooling at Bovington, Boomerang, Larkhill and Tweseldown, and has completed a one-day event training day.

He has attended two Senior Pony Club Camps with a 14-year-old rider, showing a willing attitude and gaining valuable experience in busy and varied environments.

Good to load, travel, hack alone or in company, and unfazed by traffic, livestock and open spaces. He has been extensively hacked in the New Forest, so is used to pigs, cattle and donkeys. Lives in or out. He isn't keen on being clipped, ongoing groundwork is required, he improves with consistency and clear handling which doesn't always happen in our busy home.

As a foal he had a mild congenital hind limb deviation which naturally straightened as he grew. It ruled him out of selection from his breeder's 5 star eventing string, hence we had the opportunity to purchase him. Since then he has been built up carefully with regular physio and chiropractic support and has proven sound, correct and free from issues in any sphere.

Unfortunately, the teenager we bought him for, now 15, is no longer competitively driven, with typical life distractions taking priority. While she still hacks him and we have an adult rider continue to bring him on having lessons and competing, we know this is unlikely to continue long term and ultimately we need to move him on, hence the decision to sell him now.

He will be sold in work and ready to go for an experienced, enthusiast rider as he is still an ongoing project given his age. He comes with saddle, bridle, lightweight turnout, medium turnout and stable rugs. Up to date with vaccinations, has had recent physio, chiropractic and saddle fitting. He is ready to get out competing and 2026 should be his year or just to be enjoyed as an all rounder.

This lovely young horse has the breeding, scope and temperament to excel as a Grassroots prospect, or equally for eventing, dressage, or hunting and team chasing. Only the best home sought, no novices please.

Priced to sell to serious enquiries only; so please don't time waste; we have no rush to sell him and can wait until spring if needed; he was a great opportunity for us to buy a quality horse within an affordable price band and will be the same for someone else.

We had thought he would be a long term route to grass roots so has been produced slowly with the future in mind. We have done lots but never rushed anything, always aiming for success and positivity; therefore he will still be an ongoing project for someone to produce into their dream horse but we think much of the hard work has now been done and he is an exciting prospect.

Lily is a 7 year old 15.2hh mare who has been owned since a foal and produced slowly and correctly. She was only backed as a 6 year old giving her plenty of time to mature and has been with us for 12 months to produce with a future in eventing her aim.

Lily is exceptionally easy to take out to compete and train, she will wait on the lorry for her turn, is kind any mannerly to handle and is ready to find her forever home for next season and beyond.

Due to a health issue (that was dealt with and didn't involve lameness but full disclosure will be given) Lily has had an interrupted year. She has completed two unaffiliated ODE's, jumping clear xc on both occasions. She is very bold xc, has 3 good paces winning on her only dressage competitive start with more improvement to come and she loves to showjump.

Lily recently hunted with the Beaufort and was exceptional, tackling all the hedges without question. Lily was also recently part of the NSEA winning team qualifying for Addington Championships next year.

Lily is good to hack, very easy to clip, has mainly travelled in a lorry but we are sure she would load in a trailer and has a very bright future ahead of her. She isn't a novice ride as she is bred to be a competition horse and is still a novice in her own right through no fault of her own.

A busy, experienced home is sought for this lovely horse that will no doubt be a super star. She is fit, healthy and ready to go. Open to vetting and trial.
