A Little Bit of Nonsense 'Peggy' was born 12th June 2021.

Unbroken but has been handled lightly, a real blank canvas for someone to put their own stamp on.

Grown up on a busy working farm and boatyard so is used to seeing a variety of tractors/machinery etc.

Her Dam was a lovely all-rounder who did all PC/riding club activities, going to regional and national championships with several different riders in Eventing and Tetrathlon at an open and novice level.

Super smart model with lots to like! She’s a super mover with plenty of bone.

Her breeding is unrecorded but is by a show jumping stallion out of an Irish mare.

She’s very well handled, good for all her feet ect. Even had her legs clipped out/mane pulled with no problems.

Really laid back with a lovely sweet nature.

She is ready to start breaking and will be a great one to bring on. We will happily keep to break should someone wish.

Hallie, a top quality young horse. Homebred- full history known since a foal. Hallie really does have it all, wonderful temperament, three correct athletic paces. She has plenty of blood and bred to event, but would excel in any discipline.

Hallie was lightly backed in December 2024 as a 3-year-old year and then turned away to mature. She’s been living in a herd and currently been out on grass living out 24/7. She is now ready to further her education, started back in work in May. She’s been doing small things, 10 min long reining/ hacking on quiet lanes alone and in company.

Done some light lunging and pole work in school. She has not been pushed in any way. As a homebred, she has been well handled since day one and given the best possible start. Done lots of groundwork/horsemanship training. Living on a small holding/livery yard she has been exposed to tractors/large vehicles, lots of noise, dogs, chickens/ducks etc.

You can bring Hallie in on her own, she’s happy to come away from her friends and happy in the stable all day being the only horse in on the yard.

Hallie has loose jumped and showing real promise, looking to be very bold, she has a good technique over a fence with plenty of scope.

This filly is from a fantastic proven dam line, out of a British warmblood graded dam. Her sire - has competed up to BE novice. He provides his stock with great trainability, temperament, ability and willingness.

She has a full brother being produced for Jumping and as stallion potential, who has the same biddable temperament as Dolce and was super intelligent and fantastic to start under saddle.

> she is a big youngster, and although kind to the point where she'd spend all day licking you, people who don't appreciate youngsters and the consistency in education nor the time investment it takes to develop them into confident bold ridden individuals without breaking their spirit, need not apply.

> 17.1hh and 6'6 rugs right now- she hasn't travelled yet so a welcoming mode of transport e.g. 3.5t horse box and maybe a bit of extra time will be needed to load.

ONLY BEHAVIOURAL NOTE:- She had mud fever end of last year where she was so pained for the farrier, vet treatment in the way of steroid cream and clipping white socks back was required when off the shelf topical treatments failed. Mid way through treating the Farrier requested her to be sedated until healed so she didn't associate him with her discomfort as she was snatching her legs and naturally discomforted by the situation. She is fully healed but has a level of trust issue with having her legs held for farrier work, she's on a 7 week cycle, some times she stands like a trooper but she can still fidget away from the farrier and snatch her legs through pain memory. The new owner would have to anticipate that she may regress and fidget more upon moving due to everything being new (or the hope is she gets over it all straight away due to different environment and people she doesn't associate the mud fever situation to) however if she does regress, a level of sedation may be required to assist her staying calm initially and training her to accept the process again so she doesn't wrongly associate the process. This aspect of her is also reflected in the price she is up for but hopefully someone can see past the initial potential 'inconvenience' and support her like we have here to get her as close to mentally healed as possible.

There is so much love for this mare, she was originally to be backed, developed, competed and then produce next generation in due time. An incredibly upsetting sale but basic stable care is now a daily challenge so she is being sold from field as can't be started under current ownership.
