8 years old, owned since 4 year old. Lovely laid back temperament but forward-going so not a novice/first horse. Very well schooled, has 37 BD points, easily working at Elementary with scope to go further. Collects, extends and lateral work established. Won nearly every dressage test he has contested. Highest score 72%. Ready to compete. Lovely paces and really moves from his shoulder.

Is hacked/cantered/schooled by his 70 year old owner in a snaffle, on his own or in company, in big open spaces. Good to shoe, catch, travel, clip and used to big farm machinery. Up-to-date with teeth and vacs. Easy to handle. Passed a 5 stage vetting when I bought him.

Has not shown but would do so easily as impeccably behaved in the warm up at busy shows. He enjoys polework but hasn’t jumped as I don’t. Needs a varied life not just arena work. A real character who does not buck, rear, whip round etc. May occasionally spook if genuinely scared.

Very sad sale due to mature lady owner’s spinal surgery and the long recuperation required.

Handsome 16.3hh Spanish gelding, born 9th March 2020, thoughtfully and slowly produced to allow him time to mature both physically and mentally.

He is a big lad for a Spanish horse with presence and movement that would make him a lovely dressage prospect in the right hands. He is a sensitive soul and would suit a balanced, sympathetic rider who enjoys producing a horse and building a partnership.

He has a kind and affectionate nature on the ground — truly like a big lovable dog. Excellent to load, clip, shoe and handle, and genuinely easy in daily management (a toddler could lead him around). He hacks happily alone or in company.

I have owned Meeka for the past almost 10 years, and this decision does not come easily, but purely due to my inability to commit the consistent time she truly deserves.

Standing at an impressive 17.2hh and rising 15 years old, she is a beautiful, loving, gentle giant with enormous presence and an even bigger heart.
