Very sad sale of an amazing young horse with an incredible attitude, fantastic natural paces, heaps of potential, and the best personality.

HLV Imperial Victory or 'Winston' is a pink-papered warmblood, currently standing approximately 16.3hh, born May 2020, has been in the same home since he was 18 months old, and was purchased directly from the breeder, so full history is known.

He has been cared for to the highest of standards all his life, and has been given all the time he needed to grow and develop into a horse ready for a ridden education. He has been produced slowly and carefully, only being lightly backed as a 4 year old, then left until he turned 5 to begin proper ridden work. He has now had about 6 weeks of solid ridden education, and has taken every single thing in his stride, never once saying no or putting a hoof out of place.

He is still a green and gangly, but is confidently walking, trotting and cantering in the school, over poles and riding shapes, and hacks confidently and calmly both alone and in company in open spaces. He thoroughly enjoys his work and is desperate to please, making him very trainable and a genuine delight to work with in every way. He is bold, trusting, and has never bucked, reared, napped, bolted, or even spooked.

He is incredibly friendly and loves human interaction - he is affectionately known as the yard Labrador - and is excellent to handle, bath, load, trim, and everything in-between. Lives in or out happily, one of the easiest horses to have about on the yard.

He could be a top-level dressage horse, or would equally be happy as an all rounder or event horse, with some jumping blood in his lines too.

He has a sarcoid-like growth on his chest which he has had since a young horse. His vets have confirmed it is not something they are concerned about, but could be removed if you wish to. It has never grown, changed or spread to other areas, but because of this it is reflected in his price. Without this he would easily be a five figure horse so this is a real opportunity for purchase an incredible horse for the future for a fraction of what the price should be.

Bought as a 4 year old for my 15 year old daughter she has been produced by a teenage girl. Monart sale horse. We originally bought her to event and has had some good results at BE 90/100 including wins and top five placings aswell as completing a novice as a 6 year old , however we feel she suits a home looking to explore other disciplines. She is never nasty however unfortunately does not like water . She is great to xc school and once she has walked through the water once has no trouble ! Very fun to take and school round tricky novice lines making it feel very easy . In 2024 she was clear showjumping in every event she did.

Kit Kat has also been hunting with the Heythrop and was a joy to take. Would make a smart ladies hunter. She is great to hack both alone and in company and is good with traffic. Is frequently ridden by 8 year old sister doing poles and mini jumps and is always foot perfect .

She is super to take out to a show; great to load and stands on the lorry all day. Would suit someone that wants to go out on their own . A very sound horse who has never had a lame day. She is a sweet but sensitive mare on the ground and likes a calm hand.

Very sad sale of super mare. Skye is a 17hh 12yr old ISH mare who has been there, seen it and got the T-Shirt.

Skye has successfully evented up to 2* BE and has won and been placed at numerous BE Novices accumulating 14 BE points. She has done BS up to 1m15 and has £112 winnings and also has competed BD up to BD novice gaining 12 points in 3 tests.

Skye has impeccable manners on the ground. She is perfect to catch, shoe, box, clip etc. She is happy to be in the field or the stable and is one of those horses that can be left on her own and she really doesn’t care!

Skye was sold to her current owner for a lot of money last year as a school mistress who hacked alone or in company. Unfortunately she can be a bit nappy to hack alone. She is an amateur rider and although she has taken her to do all riding club activities and had an amazing year, she really doesn’t want something that isn’t 100% to hack alone. I personally don’t have a massive issue with it. She’s one of those that sees something and tries to turn for home… but a quick sharp, no, we’re going this way… she does go! Ultimately she is a talented mare that has a brain! She will try it but she really is in no means bad with it, I take her alone all the time, it’s more annoying than anything! But in a sense you can’t just go for a quiet buckle ride… you do just need to have your wits about you. Or if you’re like me and don’t mind it, you can chill, just have to deal with her having a slight moment 

Skye came to me to get her going again as her owner knew deep down they weren’t the right combination, but knew if she didn’t let her go that she would keep persevering with the hacking as in every other aspect she is a saint!

She was advertised at the beginning of the year at a price a lot closer to what her owner paid for her than she is now, but a 5 stage vetting showed she wasn’t quite right, so she then underwent a full investigation and had her stifles injected. She has since undergone a full rehab programme and is now back in full work, fully fit and has had a full clearance from the vets to continue as before! (Full vet history available!)

She is now for sale at an absolute bargain price of 8.5k as she is before we really start her competing again. She has been out to various arena hires and won her arena at riding club SJ last week.

Her price will continue to rise the more work I do with her. I will be planning to enter a Cotswold cup with her (which will show her potential as a CC finalist or even a badminton grassroots finalist)

We’ve decided to advertise her now as we would rather her go to someone who will love her as much as we do and won’t expect her to just keep going bigger - we would rather someone who will really enjoy her at a lower level and be super competitive!
