Previously competed successfully in eventing up to 3*, but having lost enthusiasm for showjumping, he has now fully embraced dressage and is thoroughly enjoying his work — a direction we are keen to see him continue in.

Well accustomed to stay-away shows and regular travel, he is easy and straightforward to take out and about.

A pleasure to hack both alone and in company, and a genuine gentleman on the yard. He is kind, affectionate, and well-mannered, adored by children and happy to stand for plenty of fuss and attention.

A seriously exciting prospect for the future, Sandlings McQueen (“Steve” to his mates) is now ready for a capable, talented rider to continue his education and fulfil his huge potential as an event horse.

As a youngster, Steve enjoyed a very successful in hand showing career, consistently catching the judge’s eye with his presence, movement, and natural quality. Steve has been produced slowly and carefully due to his size, always being given the time he needed to mature both physically and mentally.

On the flat, Steve has also built an impressive British Dressage record as a young horse, consistently producing competitive and correct tests with scores including 69%+, and over 70% (including Pet Plan Area Festivals score 69.2% and place a joint 9th in the Pre Silver 2025). He’s ready to continue progressing up the levels to produce a smart and eyecatching test.

He has a bold, scopey jumper who spent last summer learning his job show jumping and with his massive ground-covering stride that with a little more experience will see him go onto be a top horse cross country. He is showing all the right signs for a successful future across all three phases.

Archie has been my daughter horse for 5 years bought when she was 18.

He is a gentleman and snaffle mouth in all disciplines.

He is BD registered and competed and the winter pet plan festival. He is training at elementary and he has competed dressage to music at novice with a great 68%.

Archie loves showjumping. 80cm is no effort for him and can easily go up to 90/100

Has evented to 100

He has been to many shows, clinics, stay away shows.

Loves hacking will hack alone in company he like to be upfront and going to the beach where is never silly and easy to pull up.

He is good to travel in trailer 3.5 lorry or 7.5. Will stand on no problem
