He then went back to his owners where he had a break before then doing some more hacking work before coming back here and he’s shown a lovely attitude the whole way through.

Parsnip is still a blank canvas, ready for the next stage of his education, but he is schooling in a gentle contact in the school and adores his hacking- very happy to go first or last!!

Handsome Liver Chestnut Gelding for sale for no fault of his own looking for a home who can give him the love and attention he deserves. Has a wonderful personality and everyone who meets him loves him.
Through no fault of his own I sadly do not have the time or the funds to continue owning him, if I did he wouldn’t be going anywhere, due to my lack of time Otis has not been ridden much this year and therefore has lost a lot of his topline and fitness, he has mainly hacked and done light schooling at the times I have managed to ride. This is not an easy sale and a 5* home is very important. Can come with tack and wardrobe for £500 extra.
Otis is 11 years old, standing at 17.1, very well mannered on the floor and with 3 beautiful elastic paces, established lateral work. Will hack out alone or in company, is forward in company but always stops. Never hunted as I appreciate my horses legs too much.
I have owned him since he was a weanling, He was bred at Woodlander Stud, backed and schooled by myself and professional instructor and competed to Elementary, jumped a course of 80cm and seen XC fences (including ditches and water trays) up to 80 - I’m really not a fan of jumping, I’ma wimp, but he has a lot of scope.
Good to catch, Shoe and clip, will load but can take a little bit of time to go on if he is unsure, he is not the type of horse that can be bullied. Once loaded will stand happily on a wagon or 510 trailer.
He has competed at BD and riding club qualifying for regional and national championships and knows his job, he lights up in the white boards and loves to perform. He likes having a job to do and needs work which is enough to challenge and occupy his brain.
Otis can be spooky, he is sharp and does buck at times. He needs a competent but sympathetic rider to keep his brain occupied and be very black and white. He needs riding properly and will suit someone who is currently riding at least Elementary or equivalent. He likes a routine and won’t be suitable for anyone who likes to leave their horses without hay till 10am.
He is not suitable for nervous people or those looking for a first horse or fresh out of riding schools.

Absolutely heartbreaking sale of this much loved horse. Muse is an absolute pleasure to have around, extremely affectionate, very laid back and easy to deal with.

I bought him as an unbroken 3yr old and have broken him in and produced him myself. He was the most straightforward horse to break in and loves to learn. He is well schooled on the flat, leg yield, shoulder in, counter canter etc. Natural changes around a course.

He has been very successful at discovery level this year with multiple wins and has all his double clears for next year.

Has jumped a few newcomers showing great potential and also had a win at this level recently. He has a huge scopey, powerful jump with endless ability, he is naturally quick across the ground and turns well for a big horse making him quick against the clock.

This mare has beautiful balanced paces and a careful jump, she is a true allrounder and has potential in a variety of disciplines, but equally she would be happy with an easy life as a happy hacker.

She's very low mileage since her racing days due to huge lack of my time but she has all the basics in place. She schools nicely, pops a jump, seen xc fences, and hacks on her own and in company. She has left the yard to arena hires and lessons.

She's generally very sensible, not spooky, enjoys her work but doesn't need riding daily. She is a big horse with a proper engine, and can get a bit fizzy if phased with situations she's not been in before, therefore she wouldn't be suitable for a novice owner or rider.

Turns out in company or on her own, lives in or out, has been in a mixed herd too. She is the happiest when she knows her routine and doesn't get left alone for long periods.

No vices, she's good to catch, clip, farrier etc. she's the cuddliest and most loving mare but is a real TB and likes to be high maintenance.

Currently in front shoes, I've been on a journey with her feet so good knowledgeable farrier is a must.

Homebred, Rocco is a 4 year old gelding, dam by Showmaker. Put to the handsome uphill stallion warm blood, Feinrich.

Rocco has flamboyant and extremely expressive paces! Temperament to go with it, handled daily, has had rugs on, hooves picked out daily, stands beautifully for the farrier to be trimmed, up to date with vaccinations and worming.
Started his education this summer, lunge work, bridle and bit, long reining, very voice activated on the ground. Saddle and bridle on, side reins on whilst lunging. Had a rider lay over him from left and right hand side whilst walking around. He then had a break for a couple of months to grow and fill out, now restarting and building back up and the more we do the more the price will reflect and increase as we continue Rocco’s development.

He is a very kind, intelligent horse, sensitive and responsive and wants to please. Been in the family from day one, foaled him down myself from my broodmare who successfully competed BD up to Medium and was training advanced medium when I sold her on. I keep in touch with her new owner who competes her at Elementary and has recently been in the Horse & Hound. Sadly, due to personal reasons I need to sell Rocco to cut back on how many horses I own.

Castrated on 30/3/2023.

Lives out on grass in the summer but comes in daily to a stable and now gets daily turnout in the daytime and stabled overnight. Loves being groomed, easy with rugs and hooves picked out and general youngster handling and desensitisation. Loves cuddles and is very gentle!

Has lived on his own and with another horse and is easy going either way. No vices. Bare foot atm, as he has superb strong hooves.
