Diesel truly is a handsome black beauty with a big heart. His mum is a Fell and his dad is a Dales x Clydesdale. I’ve owned him since he was weaned off his mum at 5 months old and the last 13.5 years have been the best. He has been the easiest boy in all ways. This is a very sad sale due solely to me planning to emigrate and it would not be a suitable move for my beautiful boy.
Diesel is an enthusiastic, genuine horse who knows his job and always wants to please. He looks after his riders perfectly and even if you’re on the ground he will make sure your safe.
He would suit a teen or young adult looking for a horse to have hours of fun with — someone who enjoys a intelligent horse with a super chilled temperament.
Showjumping & Competition:
Showjumping has been done many years ago
but hasn’t done much in recent years, so is a little rusty.
Has been to local shows in hand and ridden through this time and always receives amazing comments from the judges and in the ribbons.
He has also competed in dressage where he again always gets a ribbon in the top 3.
He has scope, technique, and huge enthusiasm for all disciplines. He has been on camps, been out to clinics and also been on horsey holidays where he rides out safely onto the moors with sheep and tractors etc.
Temperament & Suitability:
Diesel is a horse who forms strong bonds with his people and will love you deeply. He’s been a favourite among all people that have had the pleasure of riding him or spending time with him, winning them over with his playful, affectionate nature. He just loves everyone.
Hacking & Everyday Behaviour:
- Hacks alone or in company, is used many a time to support green or spooky horses because he is so chilled and gives off a relaxing vibe.
- Good to shoe, clip, catch (will come to call), load (trailer and box) and good for the dentist and physio.
- No vices at all and never sick or sorry.
- Good manners on the ground and under saddle has never put a hoof wrong.
Diesel is a talented, enthusiastic loving horse who will love you endlessly which is why I can’t be selfish and need to think of the best thing for him. This will be a wonderful opportunity for someone wanting a fun, a capable horse with the talent to progress and enjoy each discipline.
