Tarry Flynn is an eye catching young horse with quality and presence. He has exceptional paces and bloodlines that boast International performance.

Tarry Flynn (2021) is a chestnut colt. He has an attractive head and neck, a very good shoulder, top line and back and powerful quarters. He achieved an Elite grading at SHBGB Futurity Evaluation (2021) and ranked third highest of all foals presented that year in his category. He shows great natural balance. His walk is active with nice suspension and his trot is very elevated. His canter is very expressive and adjustable. Tarry Flynn was awarded 9 for his walk, 9.25 for his trot and 9.5 for his canter at grading. This stunning young horse is straightforward to handle. He is proving respectful and calm headed and takes life as it comes. He loads and travels easily. He is proving trainable in the small amount of work he has done. He travelled and overnighted en route from Hampshire to North Yorkshire for preliminary ground work for a short period as a 2 yo and was wholly nonplused by proceedings. (Videos available). His sire Timolin (son of Totilas) is currently British Breeding Futurity Leading Eventing Sire. He is a handsome and very striking horse. He has exceptional athleticism, immense presence and self-carriage. He is bold and careful and has a light an easy gallop. He finished his eventing career one point off Advanced. Timolin now competes solely in dressage. He has successes at National Grand Prix and an international career in the offing. Totilas, sire of Timolin, (Grandsire of Tarry Flynn) was one of the most outstanding competitive dressage horses in the world, the first horse to score above 90 in international dressage competition and the former holder of the world record for the highest dressage score in Grand Prix Freestyle. Timolin’s dam line carries further eventing talent to 3* level.

Tarry Flynn’s dam, Tayvale Illusion, is a SHBGB Premium Graded Mare. She has an excellent front and length of neck, well defined topline and very good quarters. She has expressive paces with great extension and adjustability. She too oozes presence and has abundant scope and quality. A “beautiful” mare. I bought Bluey from his breeder at weaning hoping he would be my next riding horse to bring on behind my current hunter/ team chaser.

But even though he still has some maturing to do, Blue is not going to finish as big as I had hoped, so he ls looking for a new home with a smaller rider. Blue is totally gorgeous to look at, just the best colour, and no white socks so always looks clean! He truly is an eye catcher. 

He has grown up on our farm on Exmoor being fed bales with tractors, having the barns mucked out with skid steers, and the sheep in his field checked with quads, so he is totally used to all sorts of machinery, noise, other animals, kids, dogs etc. He has been moved from summer to winter grazing in both trailer & lorry and has never minded being transported. 

He is a kind and willing character, a little slow to mature, but I would prefer that to having them overdone and putting stress on their joints. He's just a fabulous blank canvas really. 

In the school Bluey has shown to have a huge natural jump (we have only loose schooled him once in his life, for these pictures) and he has lovely movement. He could well go on to event or potentially even do pure dressage. 

We have lightly backed him, and are hacking him occasionally around the lanes. He has not yet been asked to do circles or jump under saddle, but he is willing and sweet natured and will soon come to being a lovely riding horse given more time and training. 

He has never bucked or reared throughout the backing process, and all his work has been really positive, so we feel he is at a great place for a competent rider to take over and start training him properly.

We are on Exmoor on the Devon / Somerset borders but we can deliver anywhere in UK.

18hh 6yr old Irish draught gelding . He is a real gentleman and has a lovely temperament and alot of character he has very good breeding he is showing alot of potential. Still a bit weak in his body but this will come stronger over time .

He was brought over from Ireland has a 4yr old already broken ridden for a bit then turned away to mature. Now back in work and working on his fitness .

He hacks out alone or in company first or last and is brilliant in traffic . Still bit green but he is quite balanced for a very big horse .

He has alot of scope jumping and careful .

I think he would make a HOYS potential in ridden hunter or working no vices update with vaccination.
