He is incredibly genuine — I can’t see a stride and he always looks after me, never taking offence. He has attended riding club lessons, Connemara showing classes and training shows in Ireland and proved nothing but a delight.

Bobby does not enjoy jumping on his own.  He has plenty of ability and a great technique.  Happily followed round a tough team chase with a 15yo girl in the saddle at the weekend with no issues at all but would not suit individual competitive competitions.  We are sure he’ll make an amazing hunter, he just prefers a lead.

Polo is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, who loves a job and being pampered. He is good to shoe, clip, catch, travel and load. I have had polo since a 4 year old but his heart belongs to dressage, we have competed at unaffiliated level scoring into 70% in prelim with amazing comments and the judges loving him, showing amazing potential and he is ready to affiliate, he is only for sale due to my heart belonging to showjumping.

I have trained and competed polo showjumping, however he wasn’t consistent enough for me to progress and continue, which is the reason for our discipline change.

As much as polo is a loving character, he takes his confidence of his handler/rider, for this reason he is not for a novice. He would be a super horse for an amateur to step up the levels within BD.

He would excel as a show horse (with striking, symmetrical markings—his full brothers have both placed at HOYS in the past three years), or equally in dressage, eventing, show jumping, or endurance. Lockie is light, balanced, and athletic, with a lovely way of going. He is barefoot and up to date with vaccinations (flu/tetanus). He hacks out confidently both alone and in company, and is happy to lead or follow.

He is not suitable for a novice rider - Lockie is a sensitive, intelligent horse who thrives with a competent, consistent rider and a calm, quiet environment. He would be best suited to a small, knowledgeable yard with a good routine and daily turnout. Once he builds a partnership, he is an absolute dream to ride.

Lockie is a very sweet natured horse, but he is sensitive to his environment and the energy of those around him, he will form a strong bond with the right person. He is currently settled with a farrier and vet he is comfortable with.

This is a truly heartbreaking sale. I have owned Lockie since he was a yearling and never imagined I would part with him. However, due to a change in my personal circumstances and increased family commitments, I can no longer give him the consistent time and work he needs and deserves. As I approach my 60s, I feel he would be far better suited to someone younger, who can dedicate the time and energy to bring out his full potential.

A very special home is essential for this much-loved horse.

She will side up to anything so you can hop on and can be ridden bareback down to her field in just a head collar, she’s gone for lots of in hand walking adventures round the woods, to the pub and through the village, she’s calm in traffic and loves getting out and about, so whilst not properly backed or ridden away just yet, she will be breeze to start, just tack up and go.

Taz 'Our Surprise' (out of Voigts Anky Panky) is very smart, quality mare looking for a knowledgeable home where she can continue enjoying her work- particularly dressage, which is what she seems to enjoy most.

She is extremely classy and draws the eye when she's out and about, but is sharp, opinionated, quirky and can be spooky, so absolutely not a novice ride. She is also refreshingly non-dramatic in many ways- she can happily be left in the field, brought in and ridden without silliness. Absolutely does not need riding every day to stay sensible. Barefoot and a good doer- never sick or sorry.

She has never bucked/bronced/bolted but has reared (has done so twice in the past 3 years and was very uncharacteristic). Good to load, trim and clip (although her legs can be tickly).

Jumping-wise, she is happy to pop fences at home, but is very inconsistent competing in SJ/XC. I investigated this last year with a full work up at the vets who concluded it was likely behavioural. As a result, we feel she would be happiest and most successful focusing on dressage, fun rides or general allround activities rather than competitive eventing/showjumping. She is fabulous at stay aways!

She hacks well in company and is fantastic on fun rides and off-road hacking, although she becomes worried by fast traffic on larger roads and can be strong when excited (ridden in a pelham).

-She has a sarcoid on her inner thigh. It has been there for approximately 4 years and has not changed significantly so didn't feel the need to remove it.
-Occasionally weaves when stressed.
-Can head toss if she feels she's being 'grabbed'.

Breeding speaks for itself: Arko iii: Arko III was the Number 1 horse in Europe for 5 consecutive years and won over £1,000,000. Some of his tremendous achievements also include winning the Dubai Classic and being 2nd in the Dubai Grand Prix in 2006. He won the CSIO Rome Grand Prix as well as the CSIO Lucerne Grand Prix and was 2nd in the Cannes Grand Prix. He had numerous Nations Cups double clears and because of his accomplishments his owners were the FEI Winning Owners for two years in a row. In a fitting end to his career, Arko III won the 2008 Spruce Meadows CSIO Masters Tournament before being retired to stud. Navarone jumped to 1.40 and competed to Grand Prix dressage. Navarone was from Jus de pomme , who is the only horse in history to have won double gold at the Olympics. He did so for the German team and individual. He sadly passed away shortly after.
Amongst many more he won Hickstead and 23 individual Grand Prix clear rounds in a row. Thus his blood line is well sort after. Indoctro: Indoctro is a living legend and is among the world's best sires. His offspring achieve successes at the highest level. At the Olympic Games in 2008, three horses by Indoctro attended: VDL Orestus, Don Porfirio and Picolien Zeldenrust. In Holland he is known as VDL Indoctro, while in Germany, following the Holstein naming custom, he is C-Indoctro. By any name he is one of the world’s most successful jumping sires.

He has had the same home his whole life.
Extremely sad sale but we just don’t have the time to give to him that he deserves. Anyone would be lucky to have this special horse.
