Marvel is a gorgeous 16’3 13yo chestnut Dutch bred gelding. He is well trained on the flat and has competed to PSG in British dressage. He also really enjoys his jumping and makes a nice shape over a fence and isn’t phased by fillers. Marvel loves his hacking, he hacks alone and in company, is fantastic in the traffic he has seen here with us, Lorrie’s, tractors, bikes etc. He is sensible through open fields and enjoys a canter with his friends through the farm.

Marvel’s temperament is second to none. He’s kind, always happy, easy and polite on the ground. Stands beautifully for the farrier, first one up to you in the field. He’s basically an over grown Labrador. The type of home we are looking for marvel is a low level dressage home where he won’t be put under any pressure at top level. Marvel would teach someone the ropes at Novice/Elementary level. He would be a super smart hack/fun ride type of horse for an experienced person just wanting to enjoy a comfortable, light in the contact, balanced horse. She has a super hind leg with lots of push, loose shoulders making sure for very trainable trot work and beautiful confirmation. Oozes balance already and has such great trainable paces. Everything you would look for in a younger dressage horse to go right through to the top.

The canter is extremely balanced, again with lots of push and extremely comfortable making the perfect foundation for the more advanced movements. She will find the changes easy.

I have owned Lulu since a 3 yr old. She has exceptional breeding, being by Fidertanz and half sister of Ingrid Klimke's Franziskus.

Naturally talented and athletic, she finds lateral work and changes easy and responds to weight aids and seat aids. I give lessons on her and she is very forgiving whilst less experienced riders find their seat. Her walk is naturally a '9'. She enjoys and volunteers passage steps and piaffe.

She has been to numerous clinics with Jane Bartle, Paul Belasic, Debby Lush. She has been my Mary Wanless horse, having attended more that 10 of her clinics and has allowed me to progress my position, always giving clear feedback to the rider when you are in good form.

She was the star of a recent Warwick Schiller clinic being exceptionally well trained in ground work. She was the demo horse for Ritter dressage on line courses for several years, with her demonstrating various exercises including being the poster child for the flying changes course. She is ridden in a snaffle and also has no issue being ridden in a head collar in the school or out hacking.

She is a laid back character in the field, stable or box, with no fretting if left alone. Excellent feet, currently barefoot.

I have been unable to ride her for 18 months due to an injury and am unlikely to be able to ride her in the future. A friend has been keeping her ticking over so she is ready to go.
