A very sweet young mare with a nice start and the breeding and temperament to develop into a fab small allrounder, Oti is confident and kind. A compact type with a willing attitude, backed and straightforward to do, she’s not been rushed and has not been jumped, a genuine blank canvas ready for someone to produce and put their own stamp on her.

Owned since she was 1 (direct from her breeder at Tremayne Irish Draughts in Cornwall), she’s a fabulous and much-loved little mare and she wouldn’t be going anywhere if she’d grown a hand bigger – sadly she’s just not grown big enough for me.

She has recently been professionally backed proving very straightforward to do, and is currently riding away sensibly at her backing yard in Cornwall.

Oti is already a pleasure to have out and about:
- She’s done plenty of groundwork including lots of long lining. Easy on the ground, on the yard, in the stable.
- Professionally backed and riding away very sensibly for her age – she’s brave, willing, unspooky and not phased by things, should make a proper ‘have a go at anything’ sort.
- Hacking out and genuinely enjoys it – is the same whether she goes first or last and has been out alone around the farm with no problems.
- Confident being in the indoor school but still extremely green.
- Good in all traffic seen so far, including tractors.

She is:
- Level-headed, biddable, and should prove easy to produce.
- A friendly people person, generally wants to be with you and involved in whatever you’re doing.
- Good with other horses, easy with any routine or management.
- Great with the farrier, has always been barefoot and regularly trimmed, up to date with this.
- Great with the vet, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming. Wolf teeth removed a couple of years ago.
- Fine in her stable and with being left whilst others go out.
- Easy to catch: has always come to call, follows you around the field.
- Confident with new experiences & takes things in her stride.
- Kind with children, good with dogs (has been used to lots of dogs since I’ve had her).
- Not phased by machinery and tractors (we had lots of work done on the yard whilst she was a baby and she was super interested in watching it all).

She’s realistically priced due to her relative lack of experience to date:
- She’s backed & riding away very sensibly but hasn’t been out to shows / seen much of the world yet.
- I’ve never clipped her or bathed her, I don’t think she’d have a problem with either (she’s had the back of clippers all over her whilst on with no issues) but she’s never done it.
- She’s an inexperienced traveller because I’ve never had transport.
- She’s got a very tiny cold splint that has never caused any issues, from hooning around being a youngster on lots of land in the spring last year.

He is being sold not in work as I simply don’t have the time to ride him anymore and has been out of work for about 6 months. I have done everything with him and he will be the best horse for a confident person to enjoy.
He is not a novice ride.
He would suit someone wanting to jump round 80/90cm weather that be sj/ eventing with some hunting as he loves it! Very mannerly at the meet and will stand beautifully, will go infront or behind, he is not a front thruster that will jump huge hedges, I’ve jumped him over all the rails and small hedges/walls and has never said no!
Has done loads of run rides and never put a foot wrong.
He lives in or out (I do a bit of both depending on the time of year) he is very easy to do in all ways (clip, catch, farrier, dentist)

Brought directly from her stud in the UK five years ago where she was living out.

Was backed at five and has been slowly worked with over the past five years. Extremely low mileage. She has done a range of unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions, has been to cross country and arena cross country however lacks confidence with cross country but does great with encouragement and exposure.

Has only been hacked over the past year due to having a baby. Slowing starting to come back into schooling.
Excellent to hack out alone, never been on a road but that is due to our yard having miles of off road hacking. Will also hack with others

Can be slightly nervous in new situations but is fine with a confident handler/rider

Loads, leads, stables if required, is good for the farrier and vet (he didn't even flinch for the huge cannula needle for castration last autumn). In all honesty I think you could happily pop a saddle and bridle on him tomorrow and he wouldn't mind.
Loki is not spooky or reactive but I fully expect he will have the spark for competitive success and as such (and due to his age) he will only go to an experienced, competent and loving home.

Rupert absolutely loves his jumping and is a machine XC jumping steps, ditches, hedges, banks etc. Showjumping he’s good with fillers and trays and has been jumping 80 - 1m. He’s good to hack alone and in company & open spaces.

Rupert has sadly been out grown and so is looking for his next rider to go and have lots of fun with, he has been out of work for a few months just ticking over due to studies and lack of time so does need fittening up again.

Rupert is good on the ground, very sweet boy and good to do in all ways - shoe, clip, load, travel, turnout & catch (can sometimes need a chifney to lead to/from field if he’s feeling fresh).

Rupert is a forward ride (not strong and in a snaffle) and can have a buck home if he’s fresh, not nasty just excited & not trying to get you off, so needs a jockey who is not worried by that & looking to have lots of fun. His owner has previously been training with Francis Whittington who says he’s got what it takes to go badminton grassroots, his flatwork needs a bit of work after some time off.

Imported from Ireland as a just-backed rising 5yo and produced for eventing. This mare is incredibly bold, brave, scopey - steps, water, ditches and technical questions never faze her. She progressed from unaffiliated 90cm to 100cm in her first eventing season and clearly relishes having a job. Comfortably schools over 1m10 at home. With the right rider, I think she has the potential for 2*.

She travels well, behaves impeccably at events, and thrives in a competitive environment.

In the interest of complete honesty, this mare is not a novice ride. She is extremely buzzy and likes to get on with the job. Not nasty, but she would suit very few children coming off ponies.

• She is not content with being picked up and put down. She needs a job and to be treated as a competition horse.

• I hack her alone, but she can nap and she has gone up with me. I’ve always worked her through it, but I want to be totally upfront so I can find her the perfect match. In company she’s a different horse.

I purchased her to hunt and team chase, but feel she is better suited to eventing or showjumping. With the right partner, she has the talent to be a very competitive competition horse. She a typical mare - incredibly clever and will get you out of trouble. Has a ‘fifth leg’ that gives you confidence.
