Maggie is a stunning 6yr old who will turn her hoof to anything with her super paces, scopey jump and a temperament to die for. I have owned Maggie since she was an unbroken 3yr old and broke her in myself as an amature under professional guidance and she has been nothing but a pleasure. Winning her last test on 68% and yet to get below 65%, she has has all the potential to do very well within the boards. She goes round in a consistent, light outline, her flatwork is coming on all the time and now starting to learn her lateral work. She was clear and placed at her first jumping show and has done training shows and arena hires showing a fantastic attitude. She is not bothered by fillers, water trays, new places, warm-up arenas. Been xc schooling and happily jumped ditches, steps water etc. We have jumped her up to 90cm so far at home with scope to do more.

She has had novices on her, Ive done ride and lead, can ride in the dark and you can give her 2 weeks off and jump straight back on. Will hack on her own or in company, has been super in the small amount of traffic she has seen as our roads are not very horse friendly. Uncomplicated, no vices, easy to handle (can be handled by complete novices), catch, good with dogs, farrier (always been barefoot as has amazing feet), load, travel, and up to date with all her vacs/teeth/worming etc. Always snaffle mouthed. Very much produced with longevity in mind, however through a lack of my own time I havent quite got round to doing as much as I would have liked. Happy in or out. Very affectionate and not marish at all in the stable.

I truly believe Maggie will make a horse of a lifetime for someone, but she isn't quite the finished project so does need someone who has had experience with youngsters so she can carry on progressing. I think she will make a fab all rounder with still so much untouched potential and about as safe and sensible as 6yr olds get. I believe her fab conformation, breeding (comes from a long line of class 1 connemaras) and temperament would also make her an excellent broodmare, and could definitely go on to show, hunt etc. This mare is very special to me so will only be going to the best of homes. She does have a very small heart murmur which may get picked up on a vetting, however she has been seen by a cardiologist and we have confirmation that this doesn’t effect her health, limit her career nor should it affect her value. Lady - 15.1, 5 year old Irish cob mare.

Lady is an absolute supermodel of a cob. Excellent conformation, a good mover with comfortable paces and a super temperament.

A lovely well mannered, well educated, unspoilt cob. Lady has been in the same home since a yearling. Grown up as far north in Ireland as you can go, been properly started by a lady rider with tons of hacking and is used to being hacked on the beach almost daily (tons of video footage of this) so is well used to wide open spaces.

Shown in hand as a youngster and did well.

Hacks alone or in company and is good in traffic.

Been to arena hires where she comes off the lorry and behaves exactly as she does at home with no silliness. Jumping a course of fences with fillers, she has a super pop on her and is very genuine. XC schooled proving really brave and honest.

Works away happily in arena with good transitions and a nice balanced canter. Flatwork would be what she’s done the least of but she’s just starting to learn about working into a contact and picking it up quickly. She’s definitely ready to crack on now and learn a bit more in this area.

Whilst Lady could go on and do anything she would just as happily go hacking for the rest of her life she doesn’t ‘need’ to be busy so she really is a bit of a unicorn. Shes a pleasure to ride she takes you forward and doesn’t need kicking along but she’s not wizzy or hot.

I think she’d look super smart hogged and clipped out but have left that to the next owner to decide! Never been ridden by a complete novice although has been borrowed in the summer holidays by previous owners niece who doesn’t ride loads so she will take a less experienced rider but I’d rather she didn’t go to a total novice.

Good to load/travel/catch/shoe/bath. Absolutely loves a fuss and a groom she’s very friendly.

Cigar is a rare type – a kind, genuine, uncomplicated ex-racer with manners, mileage, and a lovely way about him. After a solid and consistent career under rules, with two wins and numerous placings (and £32k earned for connections), his syndicate rightly felt they’d had a good run and decided to retire him sound at the end of the 2023 season. I bought him directly from the trainer with the aim of giving him a new chapter as a hunter and enjoyable riding horse.

Since then, he’s taken to hunting and hacking like a natural. I’ve hunted him solo and with family, including the Pytchley’s 2024 Ladies’ Day where he behaved impeccably and turned a fair few heads (hence the fabulous photos!). He’s a joy to take out – chilled, mannerly, and totally unfazed. I always go home with the hounds, and he’ll comfortably do a full day followed by a 3/4 day later in the week – though if I hunt him twice, I tend to make the second day shorter simply because I don’t use a second horse.

He had about 4–5 weeks off after the end of the last season, then was kept gently ticking over, with regular hacking throughout the spring and summer. Now in late summer, he’s in consistent work and getting fit ahead of the coming season.

He’s extremely low maintenance – keeps his weight on beautifully, not your typical fussy Thoroughbred. Happy living in or out, he’s turned out year-round but stabled before and after hunting days in winter, usually 2–4 days per week. He’s content stabled alone or with company, equally settled in a paddock on his own or in a group.

The only reason for sale is time. My work has increased this year, and I’ve got a homebred 2-year-old to break in, as well as a second hunter who’s still green and needs more mileage. This winter, I simply won’t have the time to do all three justice, and Cigar deserves to be out enjoying himself.

He would suit a hunting family, a competent teen, or 'older' jockey who wants to start riding again, or a mother-daughter share. He’s ideal for someone with a lead-rein pony who wants a calm, experienced second horse to take out too. He’s also perfectly happy as a fun ride or light all-rounder – hacks out alone or in company, and he’s seen all types of country: ditches, hedges, trappy terrain, XC schooling fences, you name it. He doesn’t need daily riding – you can bring him in after a break, tack up and go, no drama.

Benny is a 6yo, 16.2, British bred, chestnut gelding. His sire is the famous DiMaggio, and he is out of a TB dam.

Benny was purchased from his breeder as a 2yo and has been in the same home since. He was professionally broken by Richard Jones as a 4yo before coming to me to start his competitive career and see the world. He was lightly competed in dressage as a 4yo gaining scores of 68/69% at prelim, before going home and being produced slowly for a future in higher level dressage.

Benny has 3 correct, fluid and balanced paces and the most amazing canter! He spent the 24/25 winter turned away to grow and mature and was bought back into work at the start of the year. Having given him a jump, and seeing how naturally athletic, carful and fun he found it we have come to the conclusion that a future in either eventing or showjumping would be a much more for filling career for him.

Although he only started jumping this year he is already happily schooling round 1m+ courses at home and has completed the Solihull CC at 90cm, storming round the XC clear inside the time.

Benny is now ready for someone wanting to progress him and his talent and take up the levels in either eventing or showjumping.

He is unbelievably carful over a fence and hates to touch them. He isn’t phased by fillers. He has XC schooled on several occasions also, jumping ditches, steps, skinnies and isnt phased by water.

He is the most solid horse to hack. Will happily pass tractors/ Lorry’s on the buckle end and isn’t phased either in company or alone.

He is by no means the finished article but has shown all the ingredients to make a top event or showjumping horse.

We purchased him 6 months ago for myself but we have decided that he is just too big for me. He has a few shows and always shown willing to please.

Video is of him jumping at Anglesey show just this week he had never been to a county show before and just went round for few poles due to my riding.
