For sale on behalf of her owner - Diamond is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. She is a fully registered Irish Draught with really good breeding. She is a lovely middle weight model as she isn’t too heavy, she’s more like an Irish sport horse in type and looks but has the wonderful temperament and safety of the Irish draught. She is a very desirable type who would suit a wide audience of riders from competent teenagers coming off ponies, to adults and even the older rider would feel very safe on her. So a brilliant mother/daughter/family share. She has excellent conformation, is blemish free and straight moving. Recently sailed through a 5 stage vetting, is very sound and healthy. Would be a real stand out in the show ring for working hunter as is very true to type, nice moving and has manners to burn. Excelled in working hunter classes in Ireland attending top county shows including Royal Dublin. She is the full package to excel across all riding disciplines which makes her the perfect riding club alrounder/ pleasure horse. She has the most amazing temperament and attitude to her work making her a real yard favourite.

Diamond schools well on the flat, she has 3 super paces. She is nicely forward going with a real “can do” attitude and willingness to please. She really loves her work and to get on with her job. She is nice and responsive to the aids and gives you a secure safe feeling. She works between leg and hand up into the contact in a natural outline. She will equally just go along with a level head carriage and do less for a lesser rider who isn’t interested in dressage. She is a reliable sensible ride who makes you feel secure and also has a nice bit about her. So she is suited to a competent rider who wants to have fun but be safe at the same time. She is snaffle mouthed on the flat. She is schooling well at a good preliminary level and also does some nice leg yields. Shehas done some unaffiliated dressage previously in Ireland. She has the potential to affiliate and work through the BD levels.

Diamond absolutely loves her jumping and makes a super scopey shape. She is very careful and talented and wants to keep the jumps up. She is forward going into a fence and does step up a gear from when she is doing flatwork and goes nicely in a Universal bit. She is super honest and genuine to jump she would never refuse or run out, she really wants to jump. She is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. She knows her job well and will go on a short or long stride and help her rider out. She is very ridable around a course of fences and nicely balanced around tight turns and does flying changes where necessary. She has competed at unaffiliated sj up to 90cm with ease with her previous owner. She is a real power house to jump with scope so would definitely jump higher tracks. She would equally be ideal for pole work clinics and all riding club. She has also done lots of arena eventing where she was regularly placed in Ireland.

Diamond is equally as bold over xc jumps. She is a real xc machine, point and aim type who is very genuine. She really enjoys going xc and has plenty of pace to make the time at events. She jumps everything asked of her including ditches and water complexes. She is a very straight forward ride and takes her rider into the fences nice and confidently. She is a forward going ride, not a kick along ride. She has done lots of xc schooling and hunter trails where she has been placed. She is a very honest dependable horse who always gets round clear and is lots of fun. She has so much potential to excel as an eventer as she is very good at all 3 discipline. I can see him making a fabulous grass roots eventer or to campaign Cotesworld cup. She would also make a cracking team chaser. She has hunted 3 seasons in Ireland proving very easy. She jumps everything you point her at, she always up for it and so much fun.

Diamond is lovely to hack both alone and in company. She is very sensible in open spaces and not at all sharp or silly. She is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein contact. She has been on lots of fun rides where she is so much fun and just goes with the flow. She has also been on beach rides and horse holidays. She is good with traffic in general, just hasn’t seen many artic lorries or tractors so we turn her in a gate way and she happily stands and waits for the lorry to pass her. She would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with alround riding club.

Diamond has a great kind temperament. She puts a smile on your face every day. She loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend. She is always good to catch and lead in. She loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. She is very easy to handle in all ways. She lives in and out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses. She is great to shoe, wash and clip. She loads perfectly and travels like a dream. She is a very easy horse to load, travel and go off to an event on your own, she is also very straight forward to ride at new places, very dependable and never hot. Peppa is a great all rounder, has competed up to elementary in dressage, BE90 eventing and discovery in BS. She has £208 of winnings showjumping. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and is a responsive ride. She is great to hack alone and in company (often babysitting greener horses) and isn’t bothered by the heaviest of traffic.

She is good with the farrier, to load and will happily stand on the lorry all day.

She is from Clover Hill lines and is the typical stamp - loves to jump whatever stride you are on! Won the British novice and discovery on her last outing!

We have owned Peppa for the last 6 years. She has been brought on to event but is now ready to progress up the levels of British Showjumping. She is established in her flat work and could do equally well in British Dressage.

She is great fun cross country, but unfortunately not consistent enough over ditches to be competitive in British Eventing, which is the only reason for sale.

Peppa is an uncomplicated and all round nice person to have around. She would make a perfect mother/daughter share or horse for a competitive amateur.

Patrick is a lovely, well-socialised horse with a real people-loving personality. He is very much an “in your pocket” type and thrives on attention – if anything, he can be a little bit of a space invader in the most endearing way!

On the ground, Patrick is easy to manage. He is good to lead, catch, bath, shoe, and handle. He can be clipped without sedation, however we would recommend using Sedalin simply to make the process smoother and more relaxed for everyone.

He travels exceptionally well. Occasionally he may take a few minutes to load, but once he can see light through the lorry or trailer (by opening internal doors), he walks straight on without issue.

On the flat, Patrick is a pleasure to ride. He stands quietly to mount and is a laid-back, “leg on” type who enjoys a steady rhythm, but will step up a gear if asked. He has a soft snaffle mouth and an incredibly balanced, comfortable canter – a real highlight and something riders immediately appreciate. He is kind, forgiving, and not at all sensitive, making him an ideal ride for someone wanting confidence and security.

Over fences, Patrick is genuine and honest. He is currently jumping around 95cm comfortably and has seen a variety of fillers and natural obstacles. He would make a super Riding Club horse and a fun, confidence-giving partner.

Hacking-wise, he is happy both alone and in company. He may take a look at new surroundings, but this is purely curiosity rather than spookiness – he is simply a very inquisitive character!

Although yes Patrick would suit a novice rider and is regularly ridden by novices we would prefer him to go to a home with atleast regular access to somebody experienced as he is a younger horse.

Bunny is a fabulous little horse, by the outstanding event stallion Upsilon, and is both scopey and careful over a fence. She has just started her BS career after countless unaffiliated wins, and is already accumulating rosettes and double clears!

She has been carefully produced by a small female adult over the last few years, and has experience in all disciplines, also winning in the dressage boards… Bun picks up admirers wherever she goes! This super horse is sure to excel in any sphere.

Bunny would be ideally suited to a competitive teenager or adult as, while she is extremely loveable and always well meaning, she wouldn’t be suitable for a complete novice or happy hacker. She loves variety in her work, and the more she does the better she is!

Sad sale of my lovely boy only 5** home

15/15.1hh 5 rising 6 (in July) year old green book Connemara gelding with good breeding.
He is a striking unusual silver dun colour.
In Ireland he has previously competed and has 8SJI points in 80cm and 90cm.
Owned since he was a 4 year old and has done a variety while being with me from hacking, riding in big open fields and cross country schooling.
He went Out to his first competition in the uk at the end of last year and did a 75cm arena eventing coming home with a second place rosette. He stood on the lorry while being left to find out results and was fabulous. He is the same at a competition as he is at home.

He has also done xc schooling on grass and on a surface,

He hacks alone and in company like a schoolmaster and can hack for miles he really enjoys it, he has seen a variety of traffic both alone and in company. Has hacked in the heavy winds and doesn’t bat an eyelid.
He is amazing in open fields Im a very nervous rider in them and he looks after me and goes the speed that I’m happy with, he has also popped random logs when he has been riding in the field.

He has 3 correct paces and thrives in a consistent varied work, he will do his flatwork but he is not a dressage horse he loves his jumping, hacking, fieldwork and xc so a home that will do a bit of everything is ideal. He has just started doing some lateral movements both practicing in the school and out on hacks which he is picking up easily.

He has seen a variety of fillers/watertrays, rustic, coloured fences and logs and nothing fazes him, he really enjoys his jumping he is very bold and brave and goes off any stride.

He is snaffle mouthed at all times.
He is fully shod, and upto date with everything, he gets everything regularly checked and done.
He has been loose schooled and loose jumped aswell as been lunged

He had a full check at the end of last year (saddle, teeth, physio, sheath clean etc) and there was a slight change in one of his hocks after being x-rayed so I have had this injected with Alfa2. This doesn’t cause him any issues. Apart from this he has never been sick or sorry in the whole time I’ve owned him.

This decision has not been easy but I need to do what’s best for him and me, I believe in the right home he will go from strength to strength

He is in full work and enjoying himself in a varied work going out on hacks for miles, jumping, lunging and the odd day of schooling.

Competent home sought for my special boy, although he has never done anything he is not suitable for a novice due to his age.

Schooling & Experience
Sunny’s flatwork is still a work in progress, his walk and trot are beautiful, but his canter needs further development due to my lack of time and experience and his lack of balance.
He has jumped and shows a natural, effortless technique over a fence. While still green, he is incredibly honest and willing. He has been schooled over jumps by a professional rider and has happily popped smaller fences with me.

He has enjoyed a varied life including:

He hacks alone or in company, is good in open spaces, and is always ridden in a snaffle.

Temperament
Sunny is a sensitive soul who thrives on confidence from his rider. He is not a horse you can push or ride strongly, he will simply shut down. He needs a sympathetic, confident, light-handed rider to bring out the very best in him as he is a competition bred horse.

Handling & Management
• Can be slightly sticky to load (trailer experience only), but I can load him and am happy to demonstrate. I have also worked with a professional loader.
