Rusty, also known as Blaze, wasn’t bred to be ordinary but somewhere along the line, it became clear he wasn’t meant for the racing world either.

From the start he was the soft one. While others were sharp and switched on for speed, Rusty was the foal that leaned into people, the one who stayed a second longer for a scratch, the one that would rather connect than compete. He grew up being loved, and it shows in everything he does.

Rusty has never raced, not because he couldn’t, but because he’s simply too kind for that life. There’s no edge to him, no hardness, ojust a genuinely sweet, affectionate horse who wants to be someone’s partner, not a number.

He’s a lovely, correct type with a clean bill of health, no issues, no drama. But what really sets him apart is his nature. He’s the kind that will rest his head over your shoulder like he belongs there, quietly asking for a moment of your time. The kind that makes you slow down without even realising it.

Out in the field with his mates, he’s easy, relaxed, and content. Although… he has worked out how to sneak under a chained stable door when it suits him, which says a lot about his curious little personality ??

We’re reducing numbers in the yard, and Rusty is one we’ve chosen not to run. Not because he lacks quality, but because he deserves a different kind of life. One where he’s valued for who he is, not what he can win.

There’s something special about him. He feels like a blank page waiting for the right person to write the next chapter… whether that’s a gentle project, or a fun all-rounder. He’s had time off, so he’ll need bringing back into work, but his temperament makes him the kind you’d actually enjoy doing that with.

Gus has the most wonderful, exceptional temperament and an absolute pleasure to have on the yard and to do anything with! He is such an affectionate, kind boy who loves having a fuss made of him. He has an old head on young shoulders and gives his rider confidence.
He is super brave and honest jumping and such a genuine, reliable, straight forward little horse. He has three smart uphill balanced paces and the most stunning trot!
He would be a super prospect for Badminton Grassroots.
He is so easy to take away to different venues, totally unphased when we leave him standing in the box whilst we take the other horse away from him. He loads and travels beautifully.
We have taken him to lots of different venues Show jumping and cross country and he goes round like a total pro for us, not a single hesitation and jumps all the fillers etc no questions asked.
He is such a chilled out boy with his "can do" attitude to life and takes everything in his stride. He's nicely forward going off the leg and has a lovely athletic jump.
He has done hunter trials, unregistered show jumping and hunted multiple times.
He is an absolute dream out hacking! Hacks alone and in company, open spaces, country lanes, traffic and he is use to farm machinery and lots of dogs running around him. He's the type you can ride on the buckle and relax.
Gus will make someone a really smart, quality, fun allrounder. He would suit a mother/ teenager share or an amateur looking for a genuine horse. He has such a lovely kind nature and just wants to please.
He has two small sarcoids which have been reflected in his price.

Rocky has been well produced with plenty of schooling and clinic experiences. He works nicely on the flat, is established in a snaffle. He enjoys his jumping and has been out schooling on numerous occasions, proving to be brave, genuine, and straightforward.

He has attended fun rides and pleasure rides and thoroughly enjoys an active lifestyle. Rocky hacks happily alone or in company and is unfazed by traffic or new environments.

Sire Zinelord brings in new genetics for showjumping breeding and seems to have a bright future ahead of him in every respect. Sire is Zinedream, who achieved multiple victories, including the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi and the World Cup in Riyadh. Zinedream’s sire Zinedine jumped successfully at 1.60m level with Ludger Beerbaum and already produced many talents in breeding. Zinedream was bred out of the successful Contender daughter Panam Air, who also produced the Grand Prix stallion Quiwi Dream. Zinelord’s grandsire Lordanos is among the best stallions in the German L-line and produced successful showjumping horses such as Lord Sandro DDH, HH Let’s Fly, Light On and Legolas.

Zinelord was bred out of the famous mare Lou – ridden by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum the impressive grey mare jumped at the highest level. In breeding, the Lordanos daughter also proved to be successful. For example, Lou produced the 1.50m-level classified Van Lou and the 1.45m classified Call Me Lewis in the USA. Lou is also dam of the DSP approved Cameron Champ - a son of Cohinoor VDL.  He is now as a 6/7yo at 135cm level with Marcel de boer and looks set for a big career.
